VW Bay Window Barn Find - BODY DROP PT2 - THE SEPARATION- VW Bus Restoration Episode 11

This Episode of the Bus series we separate the body from the floor and chassis. Pretty exciting stuff if you ask me. I CAD designed a bunch of parts and had T&A Laser cut them out for all of my joining plates. Get it all tacked together and ready for sand blasting. So it works out well to do a 3" body drop and we did a 2" torsion raise and probably going to raise the trans mount another 1" and maybe tilt the motor up so that it all clears when dropped. I honestly don't know how shops do it. Let's say at $120 hr labor rate. I'm easy 300 hours into this. (Videos are about 5 weeks behind) So already a $36k bill. Doesn't seem feasible.
