This is the music that they would be blaring out at my local game store in 1998 in London. Back when you had cool game shops with staff that were not trying to sell you accessories, merch and memberships. The shop was dark with industrial steel flooring and every game was inside an acrylic secuirity box. I would spend hours deciding on just one game for the next few months. They even had a basement for the "Retro" stuff which was basically full of the 8 and 16 bit games, whereas upstairs was for the PS1 N64 Saturn and Gameboy. It is where i got my copy of Pokemon Yellow near release, if only i kept the box!

I remember spending hours as a kid just going into the sound test menu and vibing to the OST. kaoru's theme was probably my favorite, and i loved the whole lower key atmospheric sounds of many tracks from the game. reminds me of another clunky fighter that had some awesome choons, tekken 4.
