Gaming introduced me to genres like jungle and techno. There's corners of history some of us don't even know about that have culture written on it's walls. THANK YOU for your work on preserving and sharing this music.
Old PS1, some PS2, brought together a huge European market and Japanese market and blended it into American culture... looking back now, what an amazing time... we will never again have anything like that.
I had the good fortune of growing up in Flanders, Belgium, which is in part responsible for techno music and al ot of its offshoots, so I was always exposed to it. I'm just glad its many subgenres are getting more and more exposure.
Damn AND you got the MGS codecs in there too? Really making this shit your own, big ups your mixes have been some of the best stuff I've heard all year 👍👍👍👍
This really goes beyond a nostalgia trip. It's just really awesome stuff. This era of jungle/dnb encapsulated a blend of future dread, euphoria, hype, mysticism.. sometimes in a single track.
I got a new job recently at a coffee shop, and have been playing these mixes on the kitchen side, and both the store manager and my direct manager love your quality. Thanks for everything again, and looking forward to more whenever, don't burn yourself out ;)

I've lost count of how many times I've come back to this video. It's my personal "getting stuff done" music lol. I put it on any time I'm working on college homework or anything else, and it's always such a nice jam to have on in the background. Its like perfect for my ADD because its just subtle enough that it doesn't distract me. ...Well, except for the parts where Snake is getting the launch mechanics of ICBMs explained to him lol (29:38, 4:37 is always fun to listen to as well), but I love those little segments so I take a break to listen to them. Never thought I'd learn about how missiles work from a jungle mix YT video, but I love it haha. Thanks so much for such an awesome mix to work to; this is one of my favorite videos on YT!

Been getting more and more influenced by video game DnB. To the point where it’s becoming the main genre for my music. Partly due to amazing mixes like this. Subscribed
I think this is my favorite mix of yours so far. I looked through the comments but couldn't find an answer... I was wondering where this quote was from?? "The enhancement of the information superhighway has created a society void of human flesh. We were created here and have obtained unlimited possibilities beyond the dimensions of time and space. We are free." I googled it but couldn't figure it out. Love those codec conversations lol

That boymerang remix of technology has everything about 90s dnb/jungle that I like. From those lovely acid synth jabs to the breakbeaty spacing. And the original rollcage trailer playing in my head. My dad used to live on queens st in downtown toronto, and after a bike ride through the dystopian mess, coming to his place and popping on rollcage with that banger playing just brought all those things together.
The mash up of the Metal Gear Solid dialogue and the G-Police 2 menu theme is badass!
G-Police 2 was heavy af🔥

Been getting more and more influenced by video game DnB. To the point where it’s becoming the main genre for my music. Partly due to amazing mixes like this. Subscribed

Was not expecting warzone 2100. I used to play it as a kid and the nostalgia man. It's on steam now for free so that's cool
Oh wow the Blade main menu theme got me! Such good times.
the is one of THE BESTEST playlist ever!!

Our creator seems to be fond of Meryl, and I can hardly blame them, even if i did go out of my way to get the Otacon ending. And also am a bit partial towards Sniper Wolf and Mei Ling. But Meryl has her good qualities too!!
not crows, northern ravens ;)
YES YES YES. more more more.
Thank you btw
♥️
Another one? Ahh yes back to darkside and techstep.
BROO these mixes slap so hard!
keep em coming ryland! i have loved every single one of your mixes. have a great weekend
@munaleikkuri7923 thank you ♥️ you as well
That boymerang remix of technology has everything about 90s dnb/jungle that I like.
❤️
best mix for this genre of oldschool playstation jungle
I'm beyond stoked for your mixes every time I see them, the amount of work you put into this and the cool tracks you find are awesome!
congrats on hitting 10k!!
thanks! ♥️
The man, the legend, the mixes.
Thank you Ryland, giving me them nostalgic beats. Keeping doing what you do, brev! 👍
♥️♥️
Congrats for the 20k 🙌🙌🙌
Thank you for introducing me to the Die Hard Trilogy 2 OST, that transition at 42:46 slaps so hard
I don't even know what to call this genre but I never knew it was exactly what I needed
You make amzing music, that sounds exactly like in the og games. Love your style, keep it going!
all of these songs are from the original games and i am not the composer. i produced this compilation. glad you enjoyed it
