soviet305 - I am so sorry to hear about Soviet. I'm going to look at your channel now. For the record, the collision with the pedestrian, as she told me, occurred because she was pushed and encouraged to go near pedestrians for the shot. I love that she kept the name. Thank you so much for the family videos. I was in the office the first day she came to Lightspeed. She put a smile on the endeavor that I probably needed. Thanks man.
What the dude said at 8 mins about people from Jersey hesitating is exactly why riding in traffirc in Seattle can be very scary, half the ppl are like that
Lol, from what I have seen and read, bike messengering in the 80s was actually well paid. WTF? I have read where they made as much in the late 80s as one would today. That is how bad it is.
400-800$ a week in the 80s is stellar money man these guys were killing it and were probably more financially stable then the average 19-30 year old today and they got to do it in the way they loved
Yeah 130 a day in the 80s is way more than what the avg. Person making 5 over min. Wage here make. They made half as much as a full weeks pay here in a single day.
Makes me nostalgic for a time I never experienced.
I am relatively young (Born in 81´) but damn I miss those simpler times.
No Smartphones and multimedia. Just observing and enjoying our moments.
Soviet was my daughter. It was a delight to see this again, and I thank Gavin for finding and posting it.
Mary Potter not really liking that you said was, as in past tense? What happened, if you don't mind me asking
Was Soviet from Australia ?! #accent
@@dotcomDan As it says in the video, she was from Denton, Texas, USA. Born and raised in Texas. Never visited Australia
@@davebenevich5446 She died in 2013. Cancer.
