Easiest Coating I Have Ever Applied! Gyeon Q2 Can Coat is Legit!

- In this video I will be reviewing and applying Gyeon Can Coat. Can Coat is by far the easiest coating that I have ever applied. Spray it on a towel or applicator, apply then immediately remove it really is that simple. Water behavior is also insane.

That darkening effect at 10 minutes in was impressive. This products application is so ridiculously easy for the incredible results you get. I keep adding more and more stuff to my Carzilla cart 😂
Yeah I was glad I saw it and was able to show it. It’s a fantastic product.
Add some Shinee Wax fromTAC Systems, maybe a gallon. You can thank me later if you love gloss / slickness. So, so at other aspects.

@@arnoldsantiago8170 I think pad is better!
I used Can Coat and it is excellent. I also had a high spot that I only noticed the next day. Just did exactly as described and no issue. I really like it.
Great video Brian. Can Coat is so under rated. Its one of the simplest coating to use, the hydrophobics are incredible, and the gloss is amazing, and you can keep adding it on it, and you can additional coats down the road.
Thanks! Easiest I have ever used by far. I will be topping it with the Gyeon Wax soon.
@@FABAutomotiveDetailing 👍
Sweet video! Was it worth topping with the Gyeon wax? Did it add anything? Thanks!
was using the cancoat but switched to Adam's advanced ceramic spray. I like it even more. gotta try it..super gloss and hydrophobics they claim 18 months.. will see but so far its been 8 months and still works like day 1. same process spray on applicator or towel. stores evenly, then level down. 💪 these 2 sprays are definately the best spray non true coatings there are. great video
I need to try the Adam’s for sure. Thanks for the advice
The Cancoat is great and the Cancoat Pro is even better! I have my detail rig coated with the Pro and it's amazing 👏🏽
I may have to try that next! Thanks
Now that’s easy. Gyeon has some great products! Thorough video Brian!! 👍🏼👍🏼
Extremely easy! Thank you
Crazy beading. I was looking at their stuff in Kentucky at the Southern Detailer’s Conference. Their fluorine wax looks neat too.
Hydrophobic’s are awesome on this one. I hope to apply the wax today.
Brian. You MUST try meguiars hybrid paint coating. In my opinion it’s just as good if not better than can coat. Also great on trim!
I hope to try it out soon. To many products on the market and not enough time to try them all but it’s on the list
cancoat made my 20 yr old headlights look brand new... nothing from meguiars, not even plastx, kept them so optically clear. mind blown
Good stuff Brian can coat is a very underrated product. It goes on easy lasts a long time and has great hydrophobics. Used it a couple years ago to maintain my truck and worked great.
Thank you! That’s great to hear on your results with it.
Thank you for the video. Can Coat is great so many ways! I use it to topcoat a weaken coating with great results!!
You are welcome! Thanks for watching
Can Coat and Meg's Hybrid Paint Coating seem very similar. Great vid!
I have not tried Meguiars yet. Thanks
Gyeon's is more chemical resistance, more durable, awesome darkening effect and beads better. No comparison, just in application perhaps.
Reminds me of Meguiar's Ultimate Fast Finish. Loved that stuff... 👍🏻
I never did use that product.
Very impressive results FAB!
Especially the ability to easily remove high spots.
Yep it’s super user friendly.
looks great brother. looks like Megs Ultimate Fast Finish
Thanks!
Wow... that Stuff looks awesome!!! Great hydrophobics too. Well done brother.. really hard to see it! Like nothings going on the paint hahahaha. Jeep us posted on durability 🤜🤛
I said the same thing brotha
@@KoolDadCC 🤜🤛
It is awesome stuff! Thanks but I will be topping it with the wax so I won’t really know the durability of it
@@FABAutomotiveDetailing ahhh that's right!!! Retract my previous statement 🤣🤣
Have you ever tried Adam's Graphene Spray Coating? I use it all the time and love it. Seems like the exact same type of product as can coat. I highly recommend it. Even Adam's regular ceramic spray coating works amazingly well, just isn't rated as long durability-wise versus the graphene version.......both of which are 9H. I don't believe can coat is 9H.
I have tried Adam’s regular spray coating and it’s good this is easier to use IMO. I have the Graphene spray coating just haven’t tried it yet.
doesnt last near as long as this.
The car looks 👌! Looks like a very user friendly product, especially on high spots. The garage is looking good all organized! That must have taken some time to complete.
Yes it’s very user friendly. Actually Mrs FAB got it into order quick. Thanks!
@@FABAutomotiveDetailing Are you guys using any sort of inventory software to keep track of it all?
It's really good stuff
Hi Brian, I finally got a chance to apply Gyeon Can Coat EVO (7/30/22) and like you it felt like nothing was being applied. The vehicle was parked in the garage for 48hrs and parked outside, which of course it rained and the hydrophobics were impressive. The product was very easy to apply and is now one of my favorite sealants to apply. Do you still use the product on your customer cars that aren't getting a multi year ceramic coating?
This is one of the best videos I've seen regards can coat so thank you so much for sharing your experience. I take it this would be ok to apply outdoors if the humidity and temperature are reasonable as I don't have access to a garage. I'm getting a new Toyota Corolla sports tourer (mainly for work purposes) so I want some decent protection on it and looking at the ceramic coatings on offer seem to need a fair degree of skill and the right conditions in order to do it well. I was considering looking also at Tac systems moonlight as another beginner ceramic coating and also a UK based company called Infinity wax and their version of a sprayable ceramic coating called synergy lite. One final question if I may Brian, I take it the best way to maintain this coating apart from the restart wash would also to use the gyeon ceramic detailer? I have so much respect for you getting into the detailing chemical supply game and hope it works out well for you. Hope you and your family are well. Apologies for the long winded comment.
Thank you and you are welcome. Ceramic Detailer or the Wax would be fine to periodically maintain the coating. We are doing good and hope you are also.
carnauba's the only option if you're in direct sunlight. and most avoid working on hot paint as it's softer and you get swirl city
Nice video. When you started applying, I was thinking are you even applying anything! I was thinking, the instructions say 2 sprays but that's nothing. Lol.
Thanks! It definitely feels like you aren’t applying anything.
Thanks for the video! As always looks good!
You are welcome
I forgot you have mentioned being in Indiana. I'm in western Kentucky. I love watching your videos man. Learning new stuff and waiting for you to say your website to buy products has launched lol
It’s coming soon just stay patient my friend!
Bestest video iv seen on CanCoat! Thank you sir! 👍
Thank you!
Beautiful job Brian . I’m still working on my bottle of 303 Graphene, so ….thanks for the review. Take care.
Thank you!
Let me say I’m a massive Gyeon fan and own and have used most of their line ( much broader than what you have on the bench). Can Coat is my love hate product (wet coat might be second). Now the new wax, glass coating and detail spray is outrageously good. Back to can coat on my PPF car that is driven ~1,000 miles a year it has lasted 16 months. How do I know? The microscopic over spray dots on the hood are still there. Good new ‘ bad news no one else seems to see them until i point them out. It vaporizes so well it is a problem. Brian from Apex has it right. Never spray on the car, near the car or where there is any airflow. Next time I use it I’m using a Homer bucket to spray into and onto a sponge. PS I have tried every chemical Apex uses…. The dots are less, but still there. This stuff is strong! And 99.9% of people think the car looks great… including me from 10 feet.
I actually just noticed the very fine dots. I sprayed near the car but with my back turned but I gives it doesn’t matter how I did it. Nobody will notice it but me and you! 😂 It is a very good product though and I’m looking forward to seeing how long it lasts.
@@FABAutomotiveDetailing the upside of the dots are you can tell how long it last! My bet, longer than you think.
@@BFritz-tu7nd Vary true and we shall see!
I just finished my car with the can coat. first time I used it. after I finished the coat, overspray like hell on the windows, wheels, parts of the paint... so I applied a second coat, but without the sprayer. just like another coating with some drops on a microfiber towel. the dots vanished on the painted surface. the rest I had to go for a degreaser. So I never use the sprayer again, just drops from now on.
You are 100% correct on that those darn dots seem to last forever! But remember those dots are a lot thicker, like maybe 100 times, than the rest of your coating.
Surprising results!!!
I agree!
Great review! Looks like a fantastic product!
Thanks! So far I love it!
Definitely something to look into.. easy is a good thing 👌🏼
Yes it is!
Great video man. Do you think Cancoat can be used in interior detailing? ( as a Cockpit, vinyl, plastic protectant etc)
Thanks for this rewiev!
You are welcome!
Awesome review!!
Thank you!
I just applied cancoat on a customers car, couldn't believe how easy is it to apply.
Hope it holds up well.
Super easy and will definitely hold up!
I’m new to the page. Would you recommend this product? Also I noticed you were using a griot’s polisher! How do you like that polisher for correcting a car? Any help would be appreciated 👍
probably easier to see on a dark colour car, its a pretty awesome product.! i guess it has to cure for 24hrs~!? super hydrophobics~! Love Gyeon kits, their marketing and product quality is way up there!
Gyeon kits are really nice and probably the best on the market.
Big thanks from Québec Canada 🇨🇦
You are welcome!
It was just a polishing step and what was the combo?❤❤❤❤
Hello. Could you please tell me how long after the application the car is out of order? I would like to know that i can drive the car just after application or not. I know that the coating cannot be exsposed to water in first 12h
Debating on getting Can Coat or Moonlight. Have you used Moonlight? If so how do they compare?
I like Cancoat , Moonlight like this as well. I’ll use Moonlight first tho.
I haven’t tried Moonlight.
@@FABAutomotiveDetailing Moonlight is a super user friendly introductory coating.

Thank you! Wait 6-12 hours then you can top with ceramic Detailer.

I love gyeon to death man I use it very regularly but man I hate the view application. Absolutely hate it lol
I love their products also. I haven’t used View so I don’t know anything about that.
How long will it protect the Headlights, after wet sanding and polishing them?
It depends where you live, if it's parked for many hours under the sun but for sure not more than a few months. The temps on headlights are not the same as on the door. You have to spray them with a 2K clearcoat (diy), take the headlights to a professional or apply a ceramic coating on them and reapply every year or so.
I don’t know as this is my first time using it. My guess is 6 months or so.
In your opinion do you think this product is as good as ceramic coat?
nice - see a lot of ARDEX PRODUCTS are they for you or for resale? i enjoy their new concept dressing
Thanks! Yep I am selling all the Ardex at 50% off. I will not continue to carry them once they it’s gone.
@@FABAutomotiveDetailing HOW DIFFICULT IS IT TO RESALE PRODUCTS, BEEN THINKING OF RENTING A SMALL SHOP TO SALE PRODUCTS AND MAYBE HAVE SPACE FOR DETAILING
I’m not confident in these kinda of products just about every car I see a demonstration on is a car that already has some type of coating on it so it’s hard to determine if these products actually work or if it’s just promoting of products. I would like to see a demo on a car that really has never been cared for so see if this stuff really works or if it’s just enhances what was previously on the car
This car had nothing on it when I applied this coating. Problem is people that don’t care for their car would never use a product like this. We will find out how long it lasts on this car.
Can this be added to a Avery Satin black wrap?
So, after some time has passed, are you happy with Can Coat? Do you know if it can be applied to black plastic trim around fenders or black plastic bumpers? Thanks.
It’s been 8 months and it still holding up quite well. I am very happy with it. Yes it can be used on anything I causing plastic trim
Hey FAB what's the best hand wax in your opinion
Right now I really like Turtle Wax Graphene Paste wax. Can’t wait to try this Gyeon wax soon.

How can it compared to Powerlock?
I got so much hight spots. IDK what I do wrong -_-
I can see your reflection Improved off the vehicle.
I believe it did also!
how long does it last after application?
Great video Brian, that can coat looks amazing, is it a bit like tac moonlight?
Thanks! I have not used Moonlight so I can’t answer that.
What is the best q2 cancoat or malco cr2?
Both are good in their own way. Malco CR2 is a Silica Spray Sealant as Can Coat is a true hard solids spray coating. I believe of the 2 Can Coat is better.
is it possible to refresh it without clay and polishing the car after a while?
You should definitely clay then you could refresh it.
Does it streak on dark colors? I’ve had terrible luck with Seal n’ Shine and Griots 3in1, in this regard. I always ended up wiping the coatings down with a damp rag.
I haven’t tried it on black cars so I can’t speak to that. This is more of a true coating compared to seal n shine and 3in1 are just SIO2 products.
Do you know if car pro lift will remove gyeon quickview glass sealant?
I can not answer that as I have not used Lift.
I like it. Let's watch durability.
I do too!
Brian, how would you compare it to Griot's Garage 3 in 1 ceramic wax? Price wise, it's more than double the Griot's as you know.
Don’t get me wrong Griots Ceramic Wax is good but it’s not close to the same as Can Coat. Griots is more of a paint sealant with SIO2. Can coat is a hard solids coating.
@@FABAutomotiveDetailing So what kind of topper do you apply after Can Coat?
@@hartlanddetailer5670 Gyeon sells ceramic toppers like Cure. You can also apply any topping you want or the Gyeon Wax.
@@FABAutomotiveDetailing So you could top it with Griot's 3 in 1 ceramic wax to increase the durability time to over one year?
@@hartlanddetailer5670 yes you definitely could
What’s the applicator you used?
It came in one of my glovebox monthly subscriptions. I’m not sure what company sells it. It was a while ago.
Hey bro.. you should try using Gyeon Cure after 1hour of application of the can coat. Amazing products ive use at my own car. The results after 7 weeks the hydrophobic are still going hard on it. I have a video of it but its on my instagram.. much love all the way from Brunei 🇧🇳

How long does this Ceramic job last? 6 months, 1 year? More/less?
It says 6 months but from everything I have seen like I said in the video a year or more is about what everyone is getting.
What would you charge someone for this being applied
It all depends on the size of the vehicle and how much prep work needed done.
