    My review echoes your's, without a doubt the best holster I have owned in the last 40 years.

    First review I've seen yet that actually showed it with the shirt tucked in. Thank you. I'll likely carry that way about half the time. Great review

    Another benefit for Vedder, is they don’t “Billboard” their logo on the clip, which advertises that hey, your Carrying…unlike CYA, WTP, and Tulster, among others..

    The 30° backwards cant is for crossdraw wear.

    Appreciate the time and effort you put in to make this review. I have a Glock 29sf and I now have to choose between the Vedder LightTuck and the Spider Concealment Combo. Hmmmmm…. Thanks again.

    Vedder’s light tuck looks really good and minimal but their rapid tuck, hybrid looks bulky with too much extra material on the sides giving it a bulky shape.

  • @Thepinktricam
    @Thepinktricam 6 лет назад +4

    The rear cant is probably for a cross-draw setup.

    nice video. just bought a cz p-01. had never heard of vedder, but like what i see and hear about it. like you, never really found an iwb i liked (settled for a remora sticky, which works but don't like the lack of retention and just prefer the trigger to have a harder shell around it)
    thanks!

    Thanks for this! How does it compare to a hybrid holster? Do you ever think a pad like some leather or the clinger pad would be needed?

    I've been running a Vedder Light Tuck for years. Comfy, no frills. Easy on, easy off. Those monstrosity IWBs with 2 belt clips and bells and whistles are a cumbersome pain the arse. Vedder Light Tuck all day long!

      Click on show more under Mad Dog Tactical and then click on "Pick one" and it shows what they have. Both 1911 and browning hi power are there.

    Do you still wear that holster is it still comfortable for all day long and also Chris how does it work out for your G19

    • @maddogtactical6880
      @maddogtactical6880  7 лет назад

      I do still wear it and wear it every day, all day. I will say that I don't carry my G19 every day. I have two of these. One for my G19 and my G43. I carry my G43 with a +2 extension and a spare in my pocket. I do love this holster and use it exclusively. I've been wanting to try out the Bravo Concealment Torsion holster but I'm lefthanded and they don't make them for lefties yet.

      @streetglide40sw30 7 лет назад

      THank you Chris for your reply I just ordered one for my shield was thinking on ordering one for my G23 and G27 what is the reason you don't carry the G19 to big to conceal ? and also Chris does the sweat guard dig into your body while sitting

    • @maddogtactical6880
      @maddogtactical6880  6 лет назад

      @@streetglide40sw30 Sorry I didn't get back sooner. I missed your comment. Yes G19 is too big to carry for me. It digs into my side and doesn't conceal enough for my taste. I will say that if imy in an area that is a little sketchy, I will wear it. Sometimes I carry it in my Tactical 5.11 Covert Sling bag.

      I wasn't too sure that it made that much of a difference until I took mine off...
      So I put it back on. Lol
      Definitely worth the extra $5.00.
      I'm also a southpaw, but I appendix carry.
      I think that's where the claw works the best.
      Great review brother 👍

    • @maddogtactical6880
      @maddogtactical6880  5 лет назад +2

      The great news is that most holster companies have at least a 30 money back guarantee that you can try it out and if you don't like it, return it. Vedder Holster does have a 30 day satisfaction guarantee.

    • @Cw81Deut6n4
      @Cw81Deut6n4 5 лет назад

      @@maddogtactical6880 I may need to try that out. I just got into concealed carry and in looking at those who have carried; it seems like they go through a bunch of holsters before arriving at one they like. Just trying to avoid that. I bought a bravo concealment kydex owb holster for my Walther ppq SC. I like it. I am open to trying one of the iwb like vedder or tulster. I have a crossbreed super tuck but honestly after a couple of hours it gets on my nerves.

    • @maddogtactical6880
      @maddogtactical6880  5 лет назад +1

      I have tried the Alien Gear holster and feel like they are too big. They are bulkier and for a heavier person, take up too much room. The Vedder LightTuck is pretty minimalistic and very comfortable. I have, however started carrying at the 5 o'clock position for even more comfort. I hope this helps. Remember, more holster companies will let you try it out for 30 days or so to see if you like it then return it for free.
