Thanks for covering this niche of the repertoire...I have only ever heard his piano works, and so like you said, it's nice to know that this repertoire even exists...I will definitely check this out
Dave, I really do appreciate the way, like this, in which you encourage us to explore the nooks and crannies of the classical music repertoire. I add this to my list of discs to acquire alongside Braga Santos while I work through my newly purchased Holmboe, Chavez, Pierné, etc. Has the new 4 CD Warner box of Dukas yet reached the USA? I becomes available here in France on 15th March.
When it comes to Granados's Spanish Dances, it seems the only one you ever hear is NO. 5. These rest are just as good, especially NO. 4 (Villanesca) "OLE" Dave, I mean "THANKS"
You are always Daily Classical Music Magazine with honest review! when I watch every night.
I appreciate that!

Not yet, but I'm looking forward to it.
I also quite like Granados' piano concerto that shares a disc with some Albeniz in the excellent Hyperion Romantic Piano Concertos series.
