The formulation in toner powder is not the same for each brand or model. Therefore, for Samsung toner cartridges, an exclusive Samsung powder should be used.
Chips work as a counter and when we print out, it counts down to zero from a factory default number. So, if we don't replace the chip, it will electronically block the printer and not allow it to continue printing.

No, it is a Samsung specific powder. HP powder is not compatible with Samsung.
