Love this Sean, I have just bought the FX30. I got it over the ZVE10 really just because of the fan and I'm in a hot climate. How you compared these 2 yet? would love to hear your thoughts between them
You’re a real one man, this camera rocks! And i absolutely love your puts too I didn’t realize that u changed camera which is very good. Thank you very much kind sir
I've had mine for a week now and I absolutely love it. I'm a life long Canon shooter and switched over to Sony for this one. I ended up getting the kit since I didn't have any Sony lenses and find the 16-50 kit lens pretty decent. The power zoom is a taking a bit to get used to.
I have one coming tomorrow. I own the ZV-E1, which is a great camera. But I don’t use a lot of the features and thinking of downgrading to this for my talking head and streaming.
It’s an interesting camera. A good B-cam option. With a lots of good features. I have seen the picture you mange to take with v1. It’s very good quality. And the new battery is a huge plus. To be honest there no bad cameras anymore. Which is awesome because then we can focus on the creative skills
The Electronic shutter has a readout speed of 25ms if you are not taking lossless RAW, which is more than enough for most. 64ms for 14 bit RAW if you want the extra DR, but I don't think landscape shooter would mind that too much.
Hi Sean! Regarding this cameras big brother, the zv-e1.. it has no remote port, do you know if it can connect to any budget remote sliders specifically for move-shoot-move time-lapse? I'm guessing it would have to be bluetooth
Hi Sean, awesome work. Looking forward to more of your videos on this camera - you do a fantastic job teaching and explaining. Speaking of teaching,i was going to purchase the OG zv-e10 on sale this week for language education teaching content, home studio, camera sitting on tripod, good lights already, and I have sigma 16mm already....Think I should skip the sale and save for the Mark II? I'm kind of interested in the cinetone and color scene/profile options and skin softener, but the price difference is pretty big and not sure those features matter much for me (I'm a total noob to cameras). Anyway, thanks
If I can describe the ZV E10 II, I would say it’s an a6700 lite. With no Mechanical Shutter, no IBIS, and no AI, purchasing f this camera would be a hard pass for me. Besides, I have the E10 and it still a beast of a little camera. My a6700 is even better. I’m that close to pulling the trigger on the FX30, however, I’m gonna wait. Great video, my man. 🥃🫡
Hi Sean , I am an event photo and videographer. I use Nikon for still photography. Recently bought a6700. I always go to your videos for anything related to a6700 , thank you it has been a great help. I am looking for a second aps-c Sony camera one for tripod 4K/30 long format story coverage and one for gimbal or handheld 4K/60 for creative footage . Could this zvE10 ii fit as my second body or I am better off with another a6700?
Meh. If you're buying your first camera, then sure, go with the newest model, but depending on what kind of video you want to do you’re probably better off sticking with the OG, ZV-E10. Invest those extra few hundred dollars into upgrading to a better lens (I personally use the Tamron 17-70mm). It just seems like if you’re getting to the point of spending upwards of a thousand dollars, I'll probably just a spring a few hundred dollars more and go for a better camera altogether. This Mark II seems like a weird mid-range camera for a market I'm NOT sure exist. We shall see.... that’s just my opinion. Anyway, nice review. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
The jump in quality is significant. It offers a pro grade image with 10 bit colors and decent dynamic range (same image as fx30). The first model is 8 bit with significantly less dyanmic range. Not to mention dual native iso, superior lowlight, higher fps at 4k. The jump is significant

I’ve had mine about 5 days , the video footage for vlogs has been nice . I need to test out the other options . Thanks for the great video !
Right?! It is so dang good - nice to hear that it has been treating you well.

Just ordered my zve10 ii. Upgrading from the original a7S, I think it will be a massive upgrade 👍👍👍

Thanks Sean. I have one and very happy with my zv e10 ii.
Right?! That’s awesome
Even the footage make me sold as A6700 and fx 30 sensor. Whole package of zve10 mark ii isnt worth enoght
Nice camera indeed. I wish it had mechanical shutter and it was 200 euros cheeper, which eventually will be ;)
I don’t disagree about the shutter and can absolutely see it having some specials in the near future
What you are asking for is incongruent with the market.

Great review. Brother, let that beard grow.

What sd card would you recommend for the best quality talking head videos/ cinematic style shots?
This might just be a great b-cam to my FX30. At around $1K, it's a pretty good deal for the features it has not to mention 10-bit 422 video.
Image quality looks very good, but that active stabilization crop is just massive.
Way better than the mk1
Did you use the lens that came with the camera if not what did you use?
I would like to know how long it can live-stream (without recording) before overheating!

My wife totally loves it. If you are a women who is trying to get into photo and videography, this camera makes a lot of sense.

It’s not my thing, but it’s a cracking little camera
I get it, but yea definitely a fun one 🤙
salve sean faz uma conparaçao entre zve10 2 vs a6700
Very crop in stab 😮😢
A bit of a trade off there for sure
