Hey Will, that's all great news! So what if it's a small parcel of land, that just makes it easier to take the kids camping in the backyard! And, it will help you to have your own green space for making your review videos and gear tests.
The point remains, you'll be back on your home turf with your family as your support system!
And whether you're full time or part time, I appreciate your service to America. Please stay on that path to earn your 20, it's worth it.

Congrats on the move! I great up in the PNW too. Luckily we found a little spot that feels like the PNW without the property prices.
Haha, yes price is the kicker! You either have to go VERY rural, or happen to find a really good deal (which luckily we did, on a small plot in a good area). That's before you even start talking about property taxes! :)
