‘What it’s like to take a life…’: Ant Middleton Part 1
I Catch Killers with Gary Jubelin
True Crime
Listen on Apple Podcasts
Ant Middleton has faced death more times than he can count. One night during dinner, he got a call. Within minutes, Middleton packed up his lasagna and was off on a secret mission. He didn’t know how long he’d be away, he didn’t know where and he couldn’t tell his wife. The former soldier spent years with the special forces as a point man and sniper. He sits down with Gary Jubelin to answer the question he hates most: what is it like to kill?#podcast #truecrime #army

Love when you said when you only have ONE option and you are FORCED to do it. You have no option but to get thru it! And you realize you’re capable of so much more.
WOW just WOW!!
I can't speak to the level of Ant but having done crowd control in nightclubs for 17 years (social worker now) I have been in probably a couple hundred physical incidents and after the first dozen or so my adrenalin did change and sometimes I was totally calm other times it was just a bit of excitement but I always reminded myself there will be new situations that will get that fear going again(and there were lol) and knowing that allowed me to adjust and adapt quicker instead of being shocked that I was scared again.
Yeah and in my case I lost my health due to keeping all tht adrenaline in myself at times not being able to react
@@Stolencamaro sorry to hear that mate. What sort of health did you lose?
@@Stolencamaro Cannabis has an interesting effect on adrenalin too.
This was fascinating ..... Onto part two
Gary Javelin is the MAN
It's pretty easy, once you get over the first one,it becomes a piece of cake,it's just the after effects that can cause some people problems PTSD flashbacks etc etc....
Easy & PTSD? I don't think so.
@@forddriver8827 that's why you're a ford driver
