Nice work! That baritone sax really got some love this week, huh? ^_^ Also want to say that your video editing has continued to improve, as has your on-screen confidence.
This was a really cool idea, and of course incredibly cool to listen to! It took me a second to realize what was missing compared to the usual, and when I did this arrangement instantly became cooler!
I saw this and was like "OH MY GOSH YES!!!" and then I watched it and had a big grin on my face through the whole thing! MK64 is one of my favorite games of all time, so it's soundtrack naturally means a lot to me. You certainly did it justice with this stupefying rendition!
It’s refreshing to see such a hard working musician have fun and let loose in your videos. I’m glad you’re having a great time with it. I’ll bet this was a ton of fun to play once everything lined up together
phenomenal cover once again, carlos. i have been glad to see you make all of these throughout the years and you just keep getting better at what you do with every upload.
Really loved how you got your dancing groove on in this track. Also great editing tricks, keeps the video entertaining to watch as well as listen to. Love your work! Cheers
I'm remembering way back to when you covered this during the Summer of Covers. Watching them back-to-back is really cool just to see how much you've grown since then. I really like the format; especially the pan at 0:40!
This is probably the most entertaining video I’ve ever seen you put out. The music was fantastic, the editing was so on par with the genre, and overall it was just so much fun. Great job Carlos!
Dayum the video editing just gets better and better every time you upload Just like how a single cello could possibly sound like a whole string ensemble, I'm hearing a whole big band out of all your saxes! It's almost deceiving if I don't watch the video. Fantastic job on this! Would love to hear more with what you can do with this instrumental limit/challenge :D
What a great way to start my morning! (Like 6ish here in Hawaii). MK64 was so great and i’m always amazed at not only your musical ability but the video editing is awesome, too!
The energy realy shows in this video with your performance, video editing and music. The editing was super good, and also a lovely arangement! Keep it up Carlos
Dude I want you to know that I deeply thank you for the work you put into all of this. It is once again an astonishing work ! Congrats man ! A french dude
The groove is flowing out of my speakers! Great job on the editing of the video and the mixing, I think this one of my favourite videos of yours so far! :D
700th commentary, nice I love this piece! It’s satisfying listening to it, and a great fount of inspiration when drawing. I know I’m like, two or three years late, but that ain’t stopping me from appreciating your amazing work.
This is SOOOOOOO cool Carlos!!!!! 😍 Lucky Chops are my favourite band right now and I can see where the vibes came from! Much respect; this is by far one of the better covers you've done!! 🎷
So good dude, every video I watch just brings a smile to my face on how much time and effort goes into these masterpieces, first video I’ve ever watched was the Mii Channel Theme and I’ve been coming back ever since. I’m fairly mediocre at the tenor myself and I’m trying to do the Dolphin Shoals piece you arranged. Good job again man. PS- it may be because I’m only 16 that I’m so bad and maybe it’s not fair on my part to compare myself to a god but I don’t know lmao.
I have waited for this. You, my good sir, have created my favorite rendition of this song. This has always been my favorite and I will be forever grateful for this majestic melody!!!
Ahhh drums my favorite sax! Anywho , nice as always , im sure ur right hand was really tired after that drum track! Liked the simple approach, nice job!
This is a jazz GODSEND! Oh my God! Simply brilliant, fun, and ultra jazzy! God, I wish I was as talented as you man. Brilliant job!! I love the "HA!" in the beginning! You have the best sax growls known to man!
"You can hear the Lucky Chops / Too Many Zoos vibes on it". I thought about that before reading the description and it ended being one of your influence! ANyway, this track is pure fire, I loved every bit of it! Good job m8
NGL, I was a bit disappointed at first when I read "sax only", but wow it came together incredibly well. Loved hearing all the different parts you were able to fill with saxophones, and I especially loved seeing your energy throughout the video. Well done my man!
Thanks for giving this type of arrangement a chance! I filled a lot of the space with layered saxophone parts as to not make this arrangement TOO different from my usual stuff :)
This cover is funkier than a Green Shell hitting you just before you cross the Finish line at 1st. Definitely one of your more exciting and bouncy covers!👍
Saxophones everywhere! Seriously though, I love this so much! There might be a little bias in why I like it since the sax is my favorite instrument, but this is an incredible arrangement!
What a video! Really powerful and catchy arrangement. I especially love the baritone line. Plus the video edit is truly entertaining. :-) Good job there!
drums are saxophones too, okay
also put this on 1.25x speed for the "final lap mix"
If you close your eyes, they look exactly the same!
insaneintherainmusic - Carlos Eiene Yeah, they both make awesome jazz!
hahaha I was about to comment about drums not being sax only just to tease you haha.
I'm ok with this as long as it sounds great. and it sounds great. so, i don't care about "SAX ONLY"
What are drums? I only know of cylindrical percussion saxophones.
Can we just stop and appreciate the outstanding performance of Carlos the Drummer? Because holy crap, he's improved so much
Noah Hughes yes he has
I’ve noticed this too! He’s seriously improved, and it’s tons of fun listening to him on drums, just like on sax.
Drummer? All I see are saxophones.
Yeah boy!
Word
And here I thought you were going to use your sax pads as the percussion.
"SAX ONLY"
*HA!*
Joshua Ward wym? That's his vocal saxophone
dalemon 1265 A vocaliphone, as the cool kids call it
Is no one going to bring up that excellent use of T H E L I C K 2:07

Daaamn that beat ! This is so awesome, and I was reaaaally impress with your solo, you're so fast.
That solo! You had me at that mean growl at 1:12. As a tenor sax major, this has all the chills.
I saw this and was like "OH MY GOSH YES!!!" and then I watched it and had a big grin on my face through the whole thing! MK64 is one of my favorite games of all time, so it's soundtrack naturally means a lot to me. You certainly did it justice with this stupefying rendition!
