You can tell Boss Lady is a seasoned home school teacher. Explained complex ideas at a level that every audience could understand without sacrificing knowledge transfer. You exemplify wolf pack reality as the saying goes...the strength of the pack is the wolf and the strength of the wolf is the pack. Individuals working as a team without losing your identity...rare in this day and age.
Between the Boss Man and the Boss Lady it is no wonder you offspring are so smart! Boss Lady you did a wonderful job! Judah, cool puppets and Em and Jade thanks for sharing this, bravo!
That was cute. Mom is very smart and articulate. Most I ever heard her talk lol!
I was great to hear and watch her teach the little ones. Great job mom boss lady.
you see the love of terri and ken and their children together as well as terri's children from a first relationship. ken basically adopted them for his own and those two sammy (samantha like that bewitched lady) and a brother who loved snowboarding. they were part of lumber capital log yard until they graduated from the log yard school and reached the age where they could chose to follow their own dreams that returned them to wisconsin the land of forests and cheese heads. and terri's first born children.
crosby stills and nash sang it best in my opinion. teach you your children well. terri and ken did that with the first brood of chicks. when they set the chicks free they chose to follow a different dream and ken and terri followed the beatles song and let it be. saying words of wisdom let it be.
and terri is teaching other children her love for the woods and nature. a blessing from god and her heart.
Never heard the boss lady talk so much ,you guys are a real asset to your community and i am sure everyone appreciated your presentation.
Thanks for sharing the Boss Lady with us Emerald. We appreciate you dearly though love to experience the rest of the Lumber Capital Family.
I love this. The kids and parents were listening to every word your mom said. As a matter of fact, I think that's the most words I ever heard your mom speak. She did an excellent job and I got to see that lovely smile of hers.
You guys are so incredibly sweet for dedicating your valuable time to educate the local community on the benefits and simple science of the lumber industry. I’ve been in the industry for 40 plus years and am proud to talk about it if and when anyone cares to listen and you guys do a fabulous job in purveying your knowledge! God bless you all!! Such a beautiful fam!!
i agree it has been a while since i was at a woodmens field days but i think the boss lady did an excellent job with the youngsters. my interest in forestry was from high school freshman earth science and having access to a wood lot.
She says "when I was little, a really long time ago" , 1:00; that was yesterday, because she is only 19 years old. I Timothy 1:2, Deuteronomy 28, Numbers 6:24-26, Psalms 91, Romans 8:37-39, Psalms 57:1-2.
@@robertfield5904 you know more about the bible specifics than i do and probably more than i ever will. and i will interject a crazy thread. by faith i was raised up in a roman catholic faith. and received most catholic sacraments. i found love in a miss jane beebe a life long member of the berlin congregational church on worthington ridge berlin connecticut. it celebrated over 200 years of continuous service on the ridge in various location. the church started in the historic berlin meeting house in a mustard seed yellow color of colonial times. in those days the meeting house was on the green and everything from church services town hall meetings court house meetings and whatever what not. there is a rumor or a legend that george washington came to berlin to speak to the folks in Berlin for contribution of money food munitions and man power and support for the militia for independence of the 13 colonies. as a recently uncovered jane's mom Phyllis, her mom and dad doolittle lived on worthington ridge before relocating to north colony rd and opening doolittle boat rental and there were long docks to park boats. and rentals were $5 a day and kids would rent boats to go to 2 islands to go camping and have ghost stories and such. or fish on a 75 acre lake. it is rumored that silver lake got the name from a train rail derailment of mercury. sometime around the world war. more research required. but i have seen remnants of doolittle-beebe-waterschoot history. i have even been in the west vaco paper plant that closed and now is the headquarters of logan steel on the meriden side of silver lake. lots of history that i am piecing together from bread crumbs from my life with jane Francis beebe-waterschoot.
i guess i got lost in thought.
Your mom did a great job explaining and interacting with the families ..
Teaching the little ones is a blessing great stuff ladies
It's obvious Judah loves his big sister Jade and thinks very highly of her. That is so great. It is good that you are teaching the young people about things besides video games, cell phones, and computers.
Emerald, your mother is an absolutely lovely lady. The way she described the charcoal and compost production is perfect. I am guessing this is how she spoke to her children when they were small. I can assure you that those children will remember that visit for many years to come. Maybe one day they will stop at your lumber yard to say thanks. Well done to all of you for participating in this opportunity.
Does you family realize how much Love your videos generate in a great deal of broken hearted people. Everyone that has a family like your is truly GOD Blessed! GOD saved you'll from the flood so you could be a blessing to others. Your whole family show so much LOVE in the simplest ways. Who could have know a RUclips channel about a lumber yard could have turned out to be so inspiring.
Boss Lady having a delightfully wonderful time sharing how wood is magically transformed into other items.
Yay!
Mom has a speaking roll
I still look forward to the day she talks to us, your viewers.
I did many programs similar to this 30 to 40 years ago with a forest products industry program known as Project Learning Tree - teaching kids HOW to think, not WHAT to think so the could make their own rational choices about lifestyle. Em, you have the intellect, looks, and personality to be a great ambassador for the thoughtful and rational utilization of wood in our lives.
1:20 Jade sitting in that tiny chair and coloring is the cutest thing I've seen in a while.
That was fantastic! Getting the little ones involved early! Thanks for the video, ladies, and have a great evening!
Educating young kids on how not to waste. A really good investment of time and effort. Great video ladies. Thank you.👍👍♥️
Your mom was great at explaining all your products and how you make them. Thank you for taking your time away from work to educate kids and adults on varying wood products.
Emerald, Jade, that was a cool video.... The kids will never forget the info you passed on! Well Done Youngladys!! Well done
Your mom did an awesome job of explaining things.
Your Mom is a fantastic teacher! The way she relates to the little kids is amazing.
Ken, you will never know how lucky you are to have such a great wife and a beautiful family.. enjoy every day.
Totally impressed… community minded. Your love of what you do shines!
Your family is just so sweet to so fully embrace your community. This was just so fantastic that the community let you show their children interacting on RUclips. May God Bless you all, especially the Boss Lady ❤❗
3:41 Foodalyzue. Love kid talk! Great job LCLY. You are true heroes giving back to the community with your expertise of wood. Kudos.
I am sitting here with tears of appreciation in my eyes. Setting the little minds a blaze(no pun intended). I hope you and your mother informed them that the trees grow back--you know the tree huggers! Lots of love , hope and appreciation for your family for doing what you did for our next generation. Jerry in S.E. Pa.
Very cool… Very important… teaching and coaching the youth is the KEY TO OUR FUTURE 💪🤜🤛😎
A very interesting video. The Boss Lady seemed to have a great time explaining your wood items to the children there.
Engaging with your community in this way is well worth the time and effort. It looks like it was a beautiful day and it was good to hear the boss lady sing. 🙂
Fantastic teaching opportunity.. Children are very receptive to learning when there is more than just talking
taking place. The visual set-up was very nicely done and stimulated the children to ask questions. You and your Mom are to be commended, Emerald, on taking valuable time from your mill to do this. 👍👍👍✌✌✌
Boss lady is absolutely great with the children. What a good idea to introduce to the classroom.
Mom is an amazing example of what we need in this world.
So proud of your family, God Bless you all and thank you for sharing.with us.
Boss Lady was awesome explaining things to the kids! 👏
So nice to finally hear from your Mother. This was a very cool thing to do for your community. Great Job!
Boss lady is such a great teacher.
The family is doing everything right. The Boss Lady did a good job explaining the processes to young children. It’s not easy to do and keep their attention.
A great example of community involvement, the children were really learning from you.👍
You have a great mother! Thank you for allowing her to bestow her knowledge to others! Well done girls!
In my 30 years of service, most are people over a certain age simply do not know their product & if they do, they are challenged with the ability to explain the material without making those who are being educated seem so ignorant, in addition to NOT utilizing filler words, as “UM” or “UH” every 3rd or 4th word, as the effort does require some Mastering of the Art. Kudos to The Boss Lady, as she is not only a Master of Her Craft, I would assess her abilities to at least the level of exceptional, if not possibly Superior. Very impressed indeed, thanks for sharing. 🍻🇺🇸✊🏻🇺🇸🍻
Nice!... glad to see Boss Mom out there!
Educating a bunch of kids, a few adults and about 100000 youtubers or so, not a bad days work! 🙂. You and your family are all very talented an inspirational in what you do, well done.
Best recycled product on this Earth!!!
Wood in all uses is recycled! Pass it on
Boss lady was awesome talking to the kids, and they all seem to be very comfortable chatting it up with her...
Kids have intuitive sense when grown-ups are cool. I'll put a hundred dollar bill on... in ten years most of those kids will remember her and it will be a memory marker of the time they went to the kids museum and learned about trees, bio char, and dirt...
Way to go, boss lady
What an awesome video with the children. They will remember this for years to come. Thanks for sharing. 👍
That's good of you all to educate the children
This is how are kids sould be taught in school and get away from the freak shows that are taking over education. You could see the kids were really interested in it.
It is fun to visit the children. They always ask questions You don’t expect! Thank You from Denmark.
Wow. Amazing. Great to see you in your natural habitat amongst the kids and teaching them, Teri, as the brains of the family comes into her own "I love worms," she says, and the kid wonders what they taste like, because that's what all kids can relate to as love. I couldn't stop laughing when Emerald was discussing wood and said, "toilet paper is made out of it." No thought for text books, newspapers, printed pages, greeting cards, or even vast libraries of ancient tomes, just the basics of this new age where everything written appears on a screen or is heard in an audio book, and paper has found its mark and returned to its maker. Sorry about the last bit. I am still laughing and this was one of the best videos ever. Congratulations to all.
Y'all are a fantastic family ..
We love y'all what you're doing is very kind thing and thank you for being there for the children..
I see where you girls get your "Beauty and Brains" from. Your mother is a great role model for you girls!
A great investment of time n resources for the community to share and grow in knowledge for complete use of a tree..
0 waste of that/ those renewable resources!!!
Most excellent!!!!
Thanks for sharing!!
👍🐺🧙♂️!!!
Good to see Boss Lady on video instead of racing by. You area great family.
Big change from the normal. I LOVE IT! And loved Mrs. LCLY and the son! Awesome video.
Thanks for listening to the kids for they are the future.
It's nice to share with kids. I remember things like that from decades ago. It sticks.
Congratulations on your mom...Excellent with the kids... big and small.
Great job the kids seemed very interested the boss lady was incredible
That was cool and looked like fun, your mom with that last little girl she seemed to be memorized by it and your mom. Good job all including the puppet master.
All I can say is FAR OUT! What a great video.
Great job Boss Mom. You had those kids mesmerized. And then you brought out the worms and they were hooked.
Great of you all to take the time to put together such a nice display and educate the kids(and adults) in the community. Memento Vivere.
First time hearing so much from the Boss Lady. I'm proud for you guys. Great family, great channel!
exposing kids to real-life sensory experience they've almost forgotten. What a kind sevice you've participated in .
The music and mystery of Godlight is in the wind and wood and soil and words encouraging exploration.
Awesome... the Lumber Capitol log yard continues to blow me away , now your giving your knowledge to the younger people that will become important! You guys have just took life to a whole new level and I wish I was working for LCLY, not sure if I could keep up with the girls though, absolutely awesome and THANK YOU for being who you are ... INSPIRATIONAL!!
Oh wow! Very cool guys. It’s great of you to do something like this for your community. I’m impressed.
It's so great that you took the time to share what you know with others. So many things are just taken for granted these days. The only way we can truly appreciate what we have is through knowledge. I love your videos. Keep up the good work!
I loved watching you explain things to the young kids. They were spellbound. Great job!
I am seriously impressed with your family community involvement. It takes a village to raise a child and ya 'all do your part.
Very interesting. Great to see and hear the " Boss Lady" . She has passed her communication skills to her children.
It's great to you bring this information to young children and their family's. Education is the building block to their future. And understanding how to use wood and its by products is valuable. Thank You.
Mama / boss lady home schooled to kids and no doubt has the chops to keep the younger kids interested while retaining everything she's explaining... quite apparent she did incredible job with our favorite lumber yard workers.
This is fantastic. Boss lady is a great teacher .
So great that y'all take the time and effort to expose kids to all the uses of wood.
Thanks to all involved the whole family
I think we should see more of your beautiful mom in videos. Always nice to see your dad and hear what he has to say, and of course you and your serious sister, haha.
How cool!
I think this is great, a wonderful Idea . This is definitely something that needs done. So many young people have no idea
Please forgive me for rolling my seven-decade-old eyes when you talked about educating the "younger generation" and recalling when you were also young. 😆 Thank you for sharing this day with us.
Hello everybody 👍🏼❤🇺🇸 another Awesome video , you can see it in their faces , they will always remember your visit.
That's great you are out in the community educating people. I think that is the most time I have seen mom. She was doing a great job of explaining charcoal. Really fun video.
Superb job folks! Well done; it is so good to be part of the education and life experience of these kids (and their parents!!).
Very nice. Well done guys. Thanks for posting.
Great to see the boss lady again.
Super cool 😎👍
Lumber Capital Log Yard rocks. Thank you ☺️🤘
Thank you for showing Boss Lady's warmth. most videos I've seen her in she is distant almost mechanical operating equipment. Here She got down to the young girl 's level and they looked into each other's eyes. The girl's eyes are filled with awe!
In earlier videos you include Zach and more recently Sammi, then they just disappear? Did they have an unfortunate accident or just move on.?
I think in one video they said he hurt his shoulder snowboarding (I think it was him) and I just mean that to say he still seems to be around but he works with the dad in the woods, so just like she doesnt record her dad working, she wont see him much during the work day and her videos have evolved a bit so not as much clips of the day as recordings of specific things.
As for Samantha, somebody just said she moved on. I feel like she was a cousin because she is never in family photos of trips. So she probably gained other obligations related to school/family. I know she has shown up in the last few months at least once. Maybe a little more in the summer?
Hiya Emerald & Jade,
Another great video; thank you both. The Boss Lady rocks! I know she home schools, but to watch/listen to her with those kids and mums too. She nailed it. It's lovely that you all took the time to help with this project; it looks like a permanent fixture, just revolving topics. Okay, you were educating future customers too, but you cared enough to go and do it and do it so well. Ignorance is just a lack of knowledge, so educate! Children need to know where their resources come from and how they get to the stores.
Very well done, all of you; stay safe, Steve...
Emerald's wink for the win lol.
Beautiful to see you all are spreading the information to the young, as well good to see you've enjoyed yourself. A very good and extremely informative video. I thank you, Teri,Emerald,Jade,Judah.
Super cool! Kids today need this! Worms are a farmer's best worker, take care of them and you will have done what's best for your soil.
Boss Lady is a great teacher
That’s great to get out in the community like that!
Always great when you do a field trip, " On the road with Emerald".
Brian, great idea for a second channel. don't know where she would get the time.
Now that was a nice little day trip away from the Mill,,,and truly a worth while cause....😎 I think your Mom enjoyed that teaching moment as well... thanks.
Nice to see The Boss Lady in action.
Great Video... Different...😁
A refreshing and interesting break from the usual... It's nice to see your community involvement... especially with the kids...
Good Show girls...👏
Very cool ! Nice break from the mill. I do this every year at my local elem school but for woodworking. Different wood types, tools, and examples of rough cut lumber to finished product. Kids have lots of interesting questions..Good job!
What a wonderful thing you've done here. I remember people coming to school to teach
us about really neatl and interesting things we otherwise would have never learned about..
It really made for a great day at school.
Great y'all do this! Boss Lady is good at it
Well done team! Education and exposure to new ideas/concepts is the bedrock to good community and citizens. You will have made a difference to those children...who knows what will come of it.
