Don't hate the game for the controversy surrounding it. There are plenty of amazing developers who worked on Poppy Playtime and they should not be roped into what the higher ups at Mob games have done.
This 👆 This game is an opportunity for a lot of people, regardless of the higher ups and they're bs. Honestly now we just need to hold them to their word to do better.
I love how elastic and curvy and fluid these monsters feel. Like Huggy and Mommy long legs dont feel extremely stocky and blocky. They curve and bend and stretch and flop. Which is very different to most other horror games. Fnaf for instance, even though I love its lore and its use of horror. Its refreshing and creepy in a whole new way ^^
It's always nice to hear his voice too honestly and immediately have that "wait, Seans in this?!?" moment. I never thought I'd see the day that he's voice acting in stuff n such but BatIM and now this game have both shown me otherwise.
Controversy exists within many communities, but to all who believe the game must be horrible due to said controversies, remember to blame the artist, and not their art. There were good people who worked on this too ya know, and to hate the product they helped made would make their own struggles meaningless. Respect those who deserve it like Ryan does!
@@AkiroCherryBlossom I'd suggest watch Thief king's videos on it to fully know. But to shorten it down to the main bit. A few higher members of poppy playtime made a deal with a young animator, animator said no so devs talked massive crap about animator and harassed them to the point that the animator quit.
Regardless people arent thinking about that, they hear about the controversy and wtch the videos and now their mindset is- "this game is shit, the devs are shit" thers no good guys or bad guys.
I wasn't expecting this chapter to be as high quality as it ended up being. There is so much promise this game has as an indie horror game. I love the creative minds working behind the scenes and was surprised to see Sean make a cameo! I hope the devs related to the issues/controversies can grow from their past mistakes. I'm gonna need to relook at what's been going on bc i can't help but adore this game for what love has been put into it.
“Oh my God it has shiny graphics and a cameo, it must be the best horror game ever made!” Grow a pair of eyes for a second will you? This game does nothing new or innovative that hasn’t been seen in FNAF or Bendy and the ink machine. Don’t support devs like this, I can guarantee they don’t care about you as an individual that likes there product, all they see is a walking wallet.
beyond exploiting young animator, MOB games exploited people paying $5+ (I paid over $6NZD for the game) when it first was released. Now it is free to play all of a sudden on STEAM, STEAM won't refund those who initially purchased despite MOB games saying that at most the following chapters would be $5 ($6NZD) only to find now original chapter is FTP and chapter 2 is now double what was originally promised $11 (over $12 NZD)... and STEAM won't do anything.
@@Tmaster2006YT You can tone down your spitefulness a bit. I never said it was the best game, i'm just pointing out the positives it has since there are plenty of people out there who can point out the negatives already. I'm enjoying the art for what it is. I understand a lot of the devs are pretty scummy people but you can't deny the quality of this chapter. You can tell the difference from a complete money shill (NFT shows) and some genuine work of joy just by looking at the animations and the design of the world itself. There's actual effort in this and i appreciate that. (Double plus that i can watch it for free from someone who got it for free.)
I appreciate Ryan talking about the controversy but not more than he is comfortable, but also encouraging people to go get information from more direct sources. I definitely have mixed feelings about it all like all of us. If the devs are working to correct things than I hope things improve and that they are being honest with those promises.
That’s what I like about Ryan and Jay, they both know that’s it’s drama/controversy going around PP, but they don’t care/choose to ignore it for the sake of people who _enjoy_ the game itself
I don't think Poppy turned evil. She has a goal to "set things right" like she said at the end, and the player is the only person that can help her with that. Therefore, she can't let the player leave UNTIL that goal is complete. She also might be scared of being trapped again like she has been for so long. Maybe she thinks that if the player leaves without helping her achieve her goal, she'll be trapped forever.
It kinda make sense she wanted to make things right in the factory since she said "terrible things had happened" but since our perspective the player wanted to leave the place as quickly as possible Poppy resorted through force for us to stay. Let's just hope she's not really evil in the upcoming chapters
Umm go to Game Theory channel. We aren't interested in that here! LOL JK that's a great point! This game reminds me a lot of Bendy though. Alice saying we can't leave in chapter 3 (Boris and Henry). I think Poppy is using us for her own motives, whether they are positive or not.
@@MagmaProductionsYT Positive for HER intentions. Dunno about ours lol. But either way I love games like this, where it makes you hungry for where the story is going. Trying to see where the devs are goin with this, whether they are money hungry or not, they are making a great game!
bro that train ending was bloody insane! wish more devs would put cool scenes like that in their games, where it genuinely feels like youre losing control entirely
I didnt even realize Jacksepticeye was in this game, thats so cool that people reach out for him so much for voice and now live action appearances. I for one as a skilled voice welder am jealous
Seeing Mommy Long Legs go out like that is unsettling especially when she exploded in blood. It makes me wonder if the blood was from the people she ate or is it simply from the human who turned into her. I also didn't know about the controversy until I read the comments. Also, thank you for the great gameplay, Ryan!
1:05:40 "You’ll make me part of him" Interesting. So I’m guessing the needle hand is possibly collecting every boss we’ll encounter in probably set-up traps like this one here. I’m guessing by her wording, he’s attaching their parts to his body. Or maybe it’s more mentally. Either way, Mommy Long Leg's death was absolutely brutal. What a way to go for an unsettling antagonist.
@@dantesutherland833 So did an employee of the company (or the boss/founder of the company) turn themselves into a toy like creature to keep living? According to the papers found throughout the factory, Mommy Long Legs is especially hostile towards employees of the factory. The toys of the factory could be hiding and/or running from "him" a human turned into a toy AKA the founder of Playtime .Co that uses the other toys as ligaments to survive in the factory.
@@IronDJW I was honestly thinking this myself. Playtime Co did own an orphanage of some kind and it is stated that whilst kids would be in the Game Station, they would be filmed for, I’m assuming research.. What kind of research though? It’s highly possible that Playtime Co experimented on kids and made them into toys, then experimented on employees and then perhaps the founders experimented on themselves, putting themselves back together with the dead toys?
I enjoy the fact they got Jack in this as a VA. But I especially love the fact that tho Mommy was evil, she also didn't really have entirely bad motives actually. She was abandoned by the company the character works for. OBVIOUSLY she gonna be a lil ticked. And tho I *HATE* spiders... I do feel kinda bad for her. Evil stretchy legged spider lady or not, that was an absolutely brutal death.
She's also mad that you cheated in the statues game she had it rigged on purpose where the end where it was caved in so you had no chance of completing the game. The player originally wasn't supposed to break through to the control room to escape
You and Dawko have my respect for acknowledging the shady behavior a few certain members of poppy playtime have done. Although it should be made clear that targeting the team who worked on this isn't the way to go, but rather be more critical of those who were in the shady controversy.
Indeed. Blame the individuals and not the collective. That whole 'if one of you does something wrong then the whole lot should be punished' mentality is a load of bull.
@@TRTMN-vs3ew Agreed, taking down and entire team who had nothing to do with it is dumb. Instead, focus the attention and reveal the wrongs a few higher up members who were involved. An entire group shouldn't be criticized because of a few bad apples.
Exactly but unfortunately “one bad apple ruins the bunch” will always be a qoute everyone seems to follow by. Because it so much easier to blame everyone then one person.
@@Pherretfish That is why we should keep letting people know this fact, break that common response so the innocent people within the team don't get punished as well for spending so much time and effort on this game.
Aside from their really scummy business practices and their horrible personalities themselves, this game is actually amazing. Lighting is on point, game mechanics are fun and intuitive, the character animations are incredibly fluid, the story is pretty engaging, and the voice acting is pretty good. This is a solid game. There's no denying that fact. Just wish it wasn't used to be a whole franchise right from the get-go from an only 30-minute chapter.
ehh I would disagree because it was a buggy mess and they messed on some parts of the level design. Chapter 1 is solid, chapter 2 is a horrible experience and a waste of 10 dollars. the mechanics are against you when it comes to the chase sequences and the puzzles are ok but some are horrible. the animation is great, the lighting is okay, and the voice acting is meh. overall a 3/10 experience that I wish I never payed for and spent that on some milkshakes instead.
@@orangevanillaswag1958 You sound like a critic who really can't critique. RUclipss haven't even thought this. Like bro the games great. I've haven't seen anyone else have trouble with mechanics on the chase sequences.
I'd imagine that when kids would play the Statues game, P.J *would* tag them out if they moved, but instead of devouring them, he'd uncontrollably lick them like a little puppy. Which I suppose would actually be cute 😊
After the short tech-demo of a first chapter and all the controversies, I wasn’t expecting much from this game but after seeing this chapter, consider myself extremely invested. Honestly, this was extremely fun and the tension was real.
People here really don't know how to separate the artist from the art man,the chapter is phenomenal. The animation is sick, the story is intriguing and can get you hooked in,the graphics are amazing, but thanks to the controversies and the Royal fucked things the devs did, people are giving the GAME too much blacklash that honestly,to me,it doesn't deserve
Controversies aside, the scary segments of this game genuinely really scared me and is very well made, MUCH better than Chapter 1 which was 30 minutes with 1 Chase Sequence at the end. Granted it is "the intro" chapter so to speak, but still. Also spoilers below but Long Leg's death was genuinely really freaky too, the blood splatters caught me off guard.
@@Tmaster2006YT The chase scenes, unsurprisingly the animation of them especially, and atmosphere are both very well done in this chapter. It’s definitely a more intense, adrenaline rush horror that sets it apart from Bendy or FNAf
The blood splatter was expected honestly. Huggy bleeds, Boogiebot bleeds, all the other toys also bleed. What caught me was Mommy's body being caught and eaten by the machine, then her head just pops off. That was kinda sad ngl
@@Tmaster2006YT bud a quick google search can tell you that gore is a part of the horror genre and bruh that scene was the only gore scene in the game. and are seriously going to start arguing in alot of comment sections 🙄
I’m looking forward for more chapters being made. But I really just have to say the way MLL went out was absolutely brutal and bravo to the voice actress. Also I think we can officially remove the possibility of ever seeing huggy since he probably ded as hell from the fall in the first chapter.
Ok aside from the controversy this is game is not that bad. The atmosphere is actually pretty scary. Mommy long legs herself is very creepy and her death was surprisingly brutal. Overall the game is not that bad. I would give it a solid 7.5/10 way better than chapter 1; the devs did a great job.
Hey Ryan! I was able to read most of the letter at 6:11, here is the transcription. notes: • This experiment utilized a live rat • Rat was fed 3 portions daily for 2 weeks •At the end of the two weeks, the rat was killed and submerged into a poppy flower and preservative gel mixture • 1 week later, an electric shock was applied to the rat (still in the gel) in an attempt to revive it • The rat remained unresponsive Analysis: I still believe in the potential of the poppy flower. Its unusual properties lead me to believe that the proper mixture and procedure could have life altering properties. The poppy flower has for a long time carried heavy symbolism, and I don't believe that's for no reason. Perhaps something larger than a rat would yield different results. I hope this is helpful, let me know what you think! Amazing video as always Ryan ^w^
1:05:58 Honestly this moment seeing that long hand pull in mommy looked like needles stuck together, it reminded of The Beldam from Coraline. Would be VERY fitting to have a inspired boss like that especially the line used in the movie "Spied on our lives through the little dolls eyes And saw that we weren't happy. So she lured us away, with treasure and treats and Games to play, Gave all that we asked, yet we still wanted more" but yeah if this is going in that direction I'm all for it.
I just finished playing chapter 2 and Holy. Crap. It was amazingly horrifying. Mommy Long Legs is truly a terrifying boss. This was the first game in YEARS to truly get a shout out of my vocal chords when it came to scares. 👏👏👏
Glad that you and Dawko acknowledge what "Mob Games" did. Love your content and edit Ryan you are amazing and I don't really support the actions the developers took, I do enjoy watching you play.
It wasn't the fuckin developers, the developers had nothing to do with it, stop blabbering what other people say, it was higher ups, Executives and CEO's, the Dev team had nothing to do with it
I don’t know what it is but the deaths of these monsters feel so disturbing and graphic. I love the concept of kids toys and things that are meant to look and be so cheerful portrayed in such a demented way. A character like Mommy Long Legs crawling all over the place feels so much scarier to me than say some guy chasing you with a chainsaw.
yeah they make you back away from the screen for a second, because you're like "damn these things are actually living fleshy creatures, just like us!" pretty disgusting and scary to think about
The instructions to the games sound like the pacer test. It had things like “Your test is over” and “It gets more difficult as it continues”. Giving me gym memories 😂
@@real_Wixonn The FitnessGram™ Pacer Test is a multistage aerobic capacity test that progressively gets more difficult as it continues. The 20-meter pacer test will begin in 30 seconds. Remember to run in a straight line, and run as long as possible. The second time you fail to complete a lap before the sound, your test is over. The test will begin on the word start. I really love the segment at 38:37 The alarm is the same one that played when blue Huggy chased the player. So it makes the player think that Huggy is back and we’re going to have another chase scene. But that doesn’t happen. It’s the pink Huggy and she helps the player. It’s a really cleaver subversion and I hope we see more of her in the future
Okay, here's my theory: When Mommy Long Legs was being pulled into the shredder, she screamed "DON'T MAKE ME PART OF HIM!!!" She then proceeded to die, and then the hand from the following tape dragged her away. The creature that dragged Mommy Long Legs away is reffered to with male pronouns, but that isn't a part of my theory, I just wanted to point it out because it might have more significance later? Anyway, I think that "He" also dragged Huggy Wuggy away when he died, we just couldn't see it. I think that every toy we kill will be dragged away by "Him" and "He" will use the broken toy parts to build "Himself" into an amalgamation of all the toys that we kill. Also, unrelated, if you've ever seen the movie version of Coraline, the hand in Poppy Playtime looks very similar to the Beldum's hand, or is it just me? Anyway, again, this amalgamation of all the toys will be the final boss of the game, having a phase for each toy and those phases will utilize the properties of the toy used. Every time you complete a phase you "kill" the toy in the amalgamation that was in that phase. For example, completing the Mommy Long Legs phase will get rid of the part of "Him" that includes the broken Mommy Long Legs torso. I think it's a pretty good theory. BUT THAT'S JUST A THEORY, A GAME THEORY!!!
I wonder if it's the the creator of poppy playtime or one of the workers because if you remember in the first chapter we see a film tape where huggy wuggy Is on a rampage and the man is explaining that "It doesn't matter wether they understand or not, one breakthrough and 'Ill be back' " so I wonder if that's who "Him" is
Ryan's playthroughs will always be the only way I'm watching poppy playtime, since his type of playing, commentary, editing and humor is the only thing that makes me actually enjoy watching this game
If I were to have a nickel every time Jacksepticeye would be on a tape in a Indie horror game with multiple chapters, I would have 2 nickels, which isn't a lot but it's weird it happened twice. Edit: did some of you guys only read the word “game” in what I said?
I’m glad to see people playing Poppy Playtime chapter 2. I like the concept of the game, but all the drama and controversy has taken a toll. Imagine the game without the drama. All in all Poppy Playtime is a great game with a shady background
Even so, Jacksepticeye still had a cameo in this chapter, and will more likely than not be playing Chapter 2 as well, so I don't think the drama affected that.
@@BlueJayz474 can we stop comparing things to bendy? Woahhh it doesn't lock you into one stationary place(FNAF??? No way) it must be batim inspired!!! We'll never appreciate its potential if we keep comparing it to something else (also batim was mid ggez balls)
@@accountforasupertubularguy7166 I compare it to Bendy cause it’s the most similar game, and I don’t really like either. Bendy had mature themes mentioned in the first chapter that were never capitalized upon later due to a less mature audience being attracted to the game, and Poppy is a blatant cash grab. Poppy has themes that seem cool, like this last chapter had some interesting and spooky moments, but because it’s being spoon-fed to me, I’ve completely lost interest. The gold standard of indie horror, in my opinion, is Outlast; a game that can be scary, gruesome, disturbing, yet enjoyable all the same.
When Mommy Long Legs says “you’ll make me part of him” I find it really crazy the fact that she sounds so scared as well as the fact that it kinda seems possible to survive some people turned themselves into toys.
You can genuinely see how impressed, excited and surprised Ryan is with how this game turned out. It's such a shame the development company got in so much drama because those who are genuinely passionate about this game made something special
Idk what the developers did, but i ain't here for them, i'm here for the game. It's very well done and i love the mechanics and overall design of it. I can't wait for it's future chapters.
Carla winter, you are exactly the kind of person this company is targeting, and the reason they get away with it for so long. Congratulations, your part of the major issue here.

Why shouldn’t I talk about the hard truth people don’t want to hear?
Really!! This game is the most phenomenal thing I've seen this year. Kudos to Jack btw, he did a great job at that with his strong Irish accent. What I love the most is the clever puzzle mechanics and the things you can do by those grabby backpack thingies, it's fun and I love it. Too bad Ryan didn't pick up that Tape in the water treatment section. It's on the platform leading to the locked Game Station door. Some dude named Eli. ;D
The intro was gold 😂 I like that Ryan is acknowledging the drama but still doing what he wants to do (like, play the game). People have different opinions abt the whole “separate the art from the artist” mentality, both sides very understandable, but it’s not ok to try to force people not to play the game if they want to. “Separate the art from the artist” is a complicated mindset and people should be allowed to chose for themselves if they want to follow it or not.

It just lets you know that not everything or everyone down there is a complete monster with some of them willing to help. AND SHE JUS KINDLY WALKS OFF SHE SO NICE ID LIKE HER A COMPANION TOO WAAAHHHH
Much and all as Mommy is wonderfully creepy, can we all just acknowledge that PJ the Caterpillar and his segment of the game might be the most disturbing thing in Poppy Ch2?? Those dead eyes... that matted furriness... that disgusting noise when he moves... as someone who takes art on its own merits and (this is just my opinion, pls note) can't stand the idea of publicly hating something you privately love because of society's current obsession with being regarded as "in the loop" or whatever, the game has SERIOUSLY exceeded my expectations!!
Issues with the game devs aside, this game is very well done so far in every aspect. The story is creepy, the atmosphere is great and the animations are expertly done maybe the best I've seen even. Of course I love that Jack was included in the game and no matter what's going on with the devs, the game that's been made is amazing and deserves full recognition for what it is.

@@couragew6260, I think the best horror game to come out in the last 3 years was “Iron lung”. Small indie game with a really cool concept that they nailed perfectly, and it’s genuinely scary. If you can play it, or watch someone play it, I highly recommend it.
All the drama aside between the devs, I still think it's awesome to see Ryan walk through the game! The voice that said "keep going" surely sends chills up my spine..
this is a pleasant suprise, was a bit bored and just got on my laptop to kill some time. didn't know the chapter was out, so seeing that and it being all in one part is definetly great.
Poppy’s monologue at the end is really giving me mixed signals. The way she talks makes her sound like a villain, but… the things she’s saying don’t match. “I’ll set things right”? I’m starting to get the feeling that each of the bosses aren’t turning into monsters just because of the experimentation, but also because they’re being corrupted. I mean, Huggy Wuggy didn’t really have much of a backstory, but MLL’s various lines/behaviors are sticking out to me. “A new playmate. It’s been so long.” And it’s only when you “cheat” and survive the last game that she goes full psycho on you? And the fact that when the place was still open, she actively played the games with the kids? It’s almost like she, like Huggy, was almost perfect, like Poppy, but her overwhelming hate for cheating corrupted her and turned her into a killer when she was pushed too far. As for Poppy, it seems like, because she was stuck in that case, she never got corrupted like the other toys were. But now that she was ONCE AGAIN trapped for who knows how long, the corruption is starting to spread to her too, triggered by her being trapped. I’m starting to think that, because of her monologue, she still wants to free the other employees, and she’s not going psycho and stopping the player from leaving because she’s evil, but because the corruption is starting to make her obsessive to the point that she’s scared that if we leave, she’ll be trapped by something or someone again with no one to help her escape.
So do you think it might become a weird Yandere like obsession? Where she kind of like, imprints on the player for having freed her and so she’ll use any means necessary to make sure you stay alive to keep her free? Or could she become paranoid and eventually turn on you for fear that you’ll betray her?
@@reaperofthings I think it could go either way, but right now, I’m leaning towards this theory: She’ll keep you alive and help you in order to keep herself free, but it’s going to reach a point where she’s actively leading you AWAY from your goal and you in turn stop relying on her, which will make her mad and resort to turning on the player entirely to keep us there.
This chapter was way better than chapter 1 in my opinion. Mommy was such a good character and this chapter was way more mysterious and gruesome than chapter 1. And Jack's cameo was amazing. Putting the controversy aside I am excited for the next chapters.
It's nice to see that the female huggy is friendly unlike normal huggy wuggy who was designed to be a lethal security measure to hunt down any intruders and brutally kill them by hugging them tight and biting there heads off then probably eat the rest
Apparently the ceo of the company bullied a 15 year old artist so bad that he had to see a doctor and had the gave up his passion for animation. Also people suspect that they might have copied Popy Playtime from the said artist. And there are proof that shows how greedy and selfish they are. Needless to say many people felt disappointed and now they're refusing to play the game.
1:05:40 People always ignore this part despite it being really interesting, when she’s being shredded she says “You’ll make Me part of Him!” which, not gonna lie,is pretty ominous.
Oooh I didn’t catch that, that probably means the one new smart creature is making a huge amalgamation of other toys, which will be absolutely terrifying
This chapter was so unexpected. Poppy Playtime has had a lot of controversy between the release of chapter 1 and chapter 2 and it gave me the impression the game was going to be an uninspired cash grab that is leaching over on the indie horror formula, but this game is SO GOOD. Its surprisingly high quality. The game design is amazing. the environmental story telling is great. Mommy long legs was an amazing villain here and when she died I legitimately felt bad for her. The puzzle design is great and the story is still looking promising. Despite the past mistakes they have made when marketing this game, this chapter shows how capable the team is at creating well made and fun games.
Jack has a bad history of working for corrupt companies in games, doesn’t he? First Joey Drew Studios, now this. I swear, if Portal 3 is a ever thing, he’s gonna be uploaded into one of those Personality Cores
one thing i can say is that you shouldn't let certain people's decisions make you not like something and I'm glad to see Ryan doing the same and keeping an amazing mood and having fun whilst playing this amazing game :)
Ryan is like the total opposite of Manly (manlybadasshero) but both are so enjoyable that I would personally recommend watching the two even if it is the same Game as they send through a completely different vibe.
I do enjoy to watch Manly's gameplays, but sometimes I need to have just fun and have Ryan's energy. I'm not saying that Manly is not funny, but you know what I mean. Manly is a little bit more serious (even his voice) and the experience isn't the same
What i love about Ryan is that he finish any game fast, he doesn't have any troubles thinking about the puzzles at all, he might be confused in one but most of the games he played, he get it finished without hardships.
Even with all the controversy in the background we have to acknowledge the fact that mob games is very dedicated to releasing finished chaoters here and they don't really care about people's demands to release it unfinished they take the time that they need to take to make it as good as it can possibly be and that earns respect. They took a lot of time on animations and map design and detail and so on, the game is absolutely amazing and they deserve a ton of credit for that.

@@Shura86 okay so I'm not a professional on this I haven't really caught up with what's going on much but the developers behind this game there's quite a few of them that have done things that are just terrible, one of the things that they did was bully somebody apparently they also sold nfts for really expensive prices that upon buying would give you lore which was dumb and they're just terrible people. However they seem dedicated regardless so for that they get a thumbs up from me and I hope they don't make these mistakes again.
@@Shura86 The main creator and writer of Poppy and CEO of MOB games (Zac, you'll see him in the credits) was screenshotted from when he harassed this 15 year old hobby animator over discord, did what was essentially parody videos making fun of his work on his animation-sins channel, and threatened him that he'd never make it if he didn't work for them. There's also the crazy amount of merch drops, nft/lore paywalls and heavy marketing for what was essentially a 30 min game which made fans wary the team was intending to use Poppy as a cash cow first and game second. (And that 15 year old? They also sent him a Minecraft animation of him f*ucking circus baby from fnaf. The creator of Poppy has done like, pretty weirdly sexual art for her.)
@@Shura86 Ekrcoaster (the guy who was harassed) posted screenshots of the conversations (and the screenshot of the circus baby thing they sent him) on his twitter and on MOB games' official apology statement, he did bring up his part in making the animation-sins videos and in the "unfortunate" interactions with Ekrcoaster. Though I wanna reiterate, while Zach may be the main creator of Poppy and founder of MOB games and while that does make some people not want to support them (and therefore him) anymore, the rest of the team behind Poppy are uninvolved and should be left alone. It's still an interesting game at its core, just tied to shady CEO and developer.
Popping in from the future, and I have to say I’m very happy with the developers’ response and decision to rectify the situation. Not saying making NFTs was a good idea to begin with, but as of mid-2024, it genuinely appears that they’ve learned their lesson (and took additional criticism by making Chapter 3 a LOT darker and scarier). Looking forward to seeing what more they have to offer; they just keep improving with each installment!
Glad Ryan addressed the controversy. He even linked the very channel I go too for updates on this situation. I still think the devs apology is nothing but pure damage control, considering they just blatantly lie during some parts, but if Ryan watches theft king's videos about the situation, he should be aware of this as well. First positive thing I've seen about this game ever since it released
Setting the controversy aside, this chapter was fantastic. Each of those games just filled me with dread, and that hide and seek at the end made me extremely stressed just watching Ryan play it. It’s a massive improvement to chapter one, and I’m really curious to see what’s next.
Listen all of you, you should be thanking Ryan just because he made aware about the controversy and drama. Some people would ignore it because they won't let such thing decide their view on a game. Yall shouldn't let it be a deciding factor on whether you play the game as well. I don't get why so many people seem hell-bent on hating "Poppy Playtime" when FNAF already showed that a majority of people just watch others play the game rather than buying it.
@@EyreAffair It's not about that, the hate are towards the high ups of the game, Isacc and Zank to be exact. They bullied a animator who declined their offers to work with them by creating a channel called "Animation Sins" and targeting the said animator

Dang! Can’t believe it’s been 2 years since this chapter released . I remember going to school whilst reading the chapter 2 release date all around EVERYWHERE… God, just time flies so fast like “whoosh!”, right???
This chapter was absolutely amazing. The voice acting and anger in mommy long legs voice was just an absolute 10/10. Especially when she was dying.I can’t wait to see what mob games has in store for us, regardless of the controversy.
If you hear her as she dies, mommy screams “Don’t make me part of him!” I theorize that The Prototype with the Freddy Kruger hand that we see grab Mommy Long Legs is collecting dead experiments and making itself into a scuffed Chinese-Knockoff Ennard/Molten Freddy. It will no doubt be the last or second to last experiment we see within these chapters. If we go off of MatPat’s theory, I think Prototype is Playtime CO’s attempt at making another perfect living toy after Poppy Playtime, since so far she is the only one who is both happy being a toy and a “perfect” example of a living, sentient toy and not basically an animal. We’re gonna have two villains. Poppy (she realizes we would also make a “perfect” toy like her) and Prototype (who probably wants to use our skin as a suit to escape OR make us a part of his body)
For everyone saying that they were really happy to see Jack in the game, believe me I was too, I just kinda wish that games like these didn't automatically go straight to the big names. As someone who makes voice-over content, I think that especially indie games would doa lot of good by searching the VA youtube scene to boost some smaller, more niche channels, while bringing some credence to their own game. Not that I don't like the big youtubers but I feel as though it suffers from only a few select people being chosen for anything so it's made much harder for small channels to grow
Prolly they chose jack cause of influence and jack also has experience on acting live and VA and the impact that jack gives is big, but i agree of what you've said though smaller channels have a vast amount of time to work on themselves to push harder on something, you might slip or fall, slowly gaining popularity and influence is hard but sometimes you just need to go "f*ck it, im doing it!" and let the fated path begin and also choosing someone that has not only greatly impacts the players but also known for being talented, smallers channels might not be chosen but they can improve and more and more until they are on par with bigger channels.
Its their choice guy. They arent obligated to go and help smaller people and risk not gaining the hype they would get from JACK of all people being a VA.
@@viennasavage9110 I suppose, and I'm really not trying to make a huge deal out of it, Sean is a huge inspiration of mine, just that the game has so much hype as it is, that how many people are buying the game specifically for his involvement? Same with bendy back in the day but to a lesser degree because they weren't franchising it and the current youtuber trend hadn't begun really
@@MorbidFayde Thats true but you have to look at it from their perspective. It just makes more sense to go for more popularity. No one in the dev team is gonna just say " Ok guys were popular enough as is, so let's hire Joe instead of JackCepticEye " So yes, it is hard to get a good start as a voice actor or anything like that, but its only the result of everyone looking out for themselves (smaller VA's included, as most of them would accept the higher paying role when given the chance.). Most small voice actors would definately accept a role from Disney rather than accepting the same position from an unpopular indie game. Its the same vise versa.
At 1:05:39 you can hear her say "You'll make me part of him." Does this mean that after we kill a boss that Coraline hand adds that boss and its abilities to something bigger? Maybe at the final chapter we'll be fighting something that has the mechanics from all the previous villains?
Mommy's death was *insane* something i definetly would not expect from the game which the first antagonist looks like a tall, angry cookie monster, in the moment you don't even realise what you are doing, you are just trying to find a way out quickly, and then you can only observe what the result of your actions is. Also, the thing taking her corpse away definetly reminds me of myself taking the last piece of ham out of the bag to eat it at 4 am.

• This experiment utilized a live rat
• Rat was fed 3 portions daily for 2 weeks
•At the end of the two weeks, the rat was killed and submerged into a poppy flower and preservative gel mixture
• 1 week later, an electric shock was applied to the rat (still in the gel) in an attempt to revive it
• The rat remained unresponsive

I still believe in the potential of the poppy flower. Its unusual properties lead me to believe that the proper mixture and procedure could have life altering properties. The poppy flower has for a long time carried heavy symbolism, and I don't believe that's for no reason. Perhaps something larger than a rat would yield different results.

@@BlueJayz474 I suppose that's fair.
When Mommy Long Legs says “you’ll make me part of him” I find it really crazy the fact that she sounds so scared as well as the fact that it kinda seems possible to survive some people turned themselves into toys.

Can you give some context? What issues are people talking about because I’ve been distracted with College life.

Indeed, indeed.
this is a pleasant suprise, was a bit bored and just got on my laptop to kill some time. didn't know the chapter was out, so seeing that and it being all in one part is definetly great.
Dude same (except I dont have a laptop)

Very true words
I think it's, "Love the art, hate the artist" but this is fine too.
What happend? I see people talking about some controversy.

Damn the full game and properly edited? The amount of effort and work you put into your videos is actually insane.
Jack has a bad history of working for corrupt companies in games, doesn’t he? First Joey Drew Studios, now this. I swear, if Portal 3 is a ever thing, he’s gonna be uploaded into one of those Personality Cores

Ryan is like the total opposite of Manly (manlybadasshero) but both are so enjoyable that I would personally recommend watching the two even if it is the same Game as they send through a completely different vibe.

However they seem dedicated regardless so for that they get a thumbs up from me and I hope they don't make these mistakes again.

@@nyam635 umm...everything u said, has all been proved/confirmed right? it's not based on rumours?

Isn't it also funny how the dev team apologizes now, that their game is out, rather than back then?

This chapter was absolutely amazing. The voice acting and anger in mommy long legs voice was just an absolute 10/10. Especially when she was dying.I can’t wait to see what mob games has in store for us, regardless of the controversy.
If you hear her as she dies, mommy screams “Don’t make me part of him!”
I theorize that The Prototype with the Freddy Kruger hand that we see grab Mommy Long Legs is collecting dead experiments and making itself into a scuffed Chinese-Knockoff Ennard/Molten Freddy.
No one in the dev team is gonna just say
" Ok guys were popular enough as is, so let's hire Joe instead of JackCepticEye "
So yes, it is hard to get a good start as a voice actor or anything like that, but its only the result of everyone looking out for themselves (smaller VA's included, as most of them would accept the higher paying role when given the chance.).
Most small voice actors would definately accept a role from Disney rather than accepting the same position from an unpopular indie game. Its the same vise versa.
True but I still loved Jack in it.
At 1:05:39 you can hear her say "You'll make me part of him." Does this mean that after we kill a boss that Coraline hand adds that boss and its abilities to something bigger? Maybe at the final chapter we'll be fighting something that has the mechanics from all the previous villains?
Notice how Ryan and Dawko are the only ones who address the Mob Games drama.
Respect to the both of them!
Despite the controversies, this chapter is amazing. Thanks for acknowledging those events recently, by the way, Ryan.
6:02 "Ight ight we don't need to see that okay you're gonna inspire some people"
