- Kidneys are one of the most important and busy organs in our body.

Millions of nephrons act together and these act as filters which work continuously to filter the blood and take out all the waste elements in the blood.
Due to various reasons - kidneys can become unable to filter the waste products from your blood. When this happens - dangerous levels of wastes may accumulate, and your blood's chemical levels may get out of balance.
Kidney damage can also occur due to Prolonged use of medications such as aspirin, ibuprofen, certain chemotherapy drugs and antibiotics.

Recently I have bags under my eyes, back pain and urgency to urinate several times a night. I have RA and I believe that I have been taken off prednisone by new Drs that don't understand that without it, my body attacks itself. Often my lungs have been attacked, developing into pnumonia. Now it sure seems my kidney are under attack. I'm going to the ER tomorrow in attempts for a Dr there to put me back on prednisone. I'm also going to take some actions to detoxify my kidneys by drinking more water and less coffee. More organic fruits, vegetables and salads. Do you have any suggestions for a person with RA ?

Hey Doctor? I’ve been experiencing foamy urine for 5 months now after I was given a brain cat scan that was unauthorized and not needed because nothing was wrong with me at all. I also now have these sharp pains on top of my head that come and go and move from the right of the scalp to the left. I also have a white tongue! I got my urine checked and everything is completely normal there is no protein in the urine. That CT scan did some things to my body and all I had was a minor allergic reaction to a spicy sandwich and the incompetent nurse gave me a CT- Scan for a reaction that resolved on its own and the doctor said he doesn’t know why they did a scan and that nothing is wrong with me. Now I am being told it may be Staphylococcus Capitis! Any recommendations? Please

By adjusting the amounts reabsorbed and secreted, they balance bloodstream pH.
