Skooter at Knoebels in Elysburg, PA.
Also known as the Bumper Cars or Dodgems, the Skooter opened in 1947 as the park experienced rapid growth following World War II. The cars are manufactured by Lusse Bros. and are known to be quick, slick, and heavy. Often, Skooter is considered to be among the best bumper cars in the country. NAPHA recognizes Knoebels for operating the Skooter, one of the last Lusse bumper cars still mostly unchanged since its opening.
