@@kadoman0 I'm pretty sure he does not. Personally I mapped dash to L1, melee to R1 and jump to X so the "dash melee jump" move (aka the super jump you see him do frequently) is very easy to pull off
Portal beam squids and severed are probably the worst enemies that you can face. Very nice run, I just can't get a damn Dreadbound to drop for me lol. Tried so many times now and still no luck with the correct traits.
I'm impressed this game it made like dodging every projectile from new update Returnal Ascension, Tower of Sisyphus to survive the endless phase and room.
Do you have framerate issues when you get to the later phases? Trying to figure out if it's just my ps5 lol. I'm totally fine until like phase 6 or 7 and then it gets pretty bad.
i assume that this is straight up not possible with other weapons than dreadbound. after phase 6 even the portal beam and electropylon driver become useless somehow.... they are way too tanky.
Edge of your seat gameplay. Everytime I think the run is about to end somehow he survives. This is incredible. I can’t even beat phase 3 . This guy must be the Michael Jordan of Returnal .

@@mwm433 have you beat it yet ? I’m stuck on phase 3 also. I thought I was doing good until an enemy killed me with a blast that dealt unbelievable damage. I still haven’t even beat the game a second time to see the second ending . Returnal is incredible but it can be frustrating sometimes .
Wow I see you have 17 shields at 1.18 I say wow, because I recently started playing and now you can only hold 5. I’ve only ever had 9 of those super weapons, so I do t know how many, player can hold. I actually find those powerful pick up weapons, often get me killed or loss health because I can’t see enemy bullets because of the screen is full of my bullets and smoke. 😭 feel like I hit a brick wall. I can only get to phase 4 and it’s really annoying. I got to boss only few times with small health and die. Do you play recently, with changes? If so, do you do as well as in this vid? Also, I’m so torn over how much the default controls, are having a negative effect on how I move, dash etc. I know it’s hurting my play but even after trying other button configurations, I can never stick to it for more then a few mins, as of course, my muscle memory is strong and remembers old ways. In most games, actually, the controls are not perfect and for me, even when I played battlefield online, it was fine but it’s impossible maybe to get so high in tower, if I can’t move jump dash while turning camera and it really kinda sucks. I'm confused because when I hit phase 7 (which is the furthest I've gotten yet) the enemies beams & orbs are a different color & much stronger, why are you on phase 20? & They are still firing on you with the same color & strength firepower? Also where are your 20 permanent malfunctions? Because you get 1 per phase & you only have 5????
Elites fire different colour beans and stuff but it doesn't change the higher you go and also Algos stops giving you malfunctions after Phase 5 and will destroy an Artifact / key.
At what point do you get one hit and die?, it’s unreasonable, I could definitely get further but with those odds, it’s not even worth attempting. This has got to be changed.

How do you jump boost so far? When ever I try boost then jump it never actually jumps through the boost. It only jumps after the boost hast finished. You seem to boost and jump combined to cover much more distance. Amazing plays by the way
Didnt realize that the permanent malfucntion "hostiles counter every hit" wasn't made mandatory after phase 5 a year ago ): that would have made the game a lot easier.
If anyine is wonder how they are carryibg more shields... There was an update by the devs cos they thought players had it too easy. Capped shields to 5, phase 5 malfunction is always Hostiles Counter on Hit, one hit deaths after phase 5 and Secered enemies have been buffed too.
Bruh there was like a 10 minute period there where you were fighting multiple rooms with like 30% hp, no shields, youd be dead in a single hit, and you had like 18 shields and 3 heal vials in your inventory, why not use them?
Holy Crap. I’m only at 4.47 and it does not look fun. It’s taking forever to take down those 2 big enemy. Oh Lord, good thing I’ll never get this far. 😭
I did 161 rooms and ended up killing selene on purpouse cuz the god damn towerr has no way to pause the cicle... (but no, i was absolutly NOT looking for high scores, i wanted to reach the end hahahaha took me quite a long time to understand the tower is infinite)
I really want to buy this game as it looks awesome but I know I’m going to suck. No one I know has a PS5 yet and even if my friends did have one I know they won’t coop with me to get me through the story so I could suck at the tower lol
its not as hard as it looks. it starts out tough but your guns get crazy powerful. by the end I was coasting through the entire game. It just takes take some time and practice to get to that point

The number of enemies don't change, only their HP and damage.
