This album was the band's most fantastic recovery from the dark days of Discovery/Xanadu. Somewhat commercial, but not overly so, and it was a solid concept album. I loved it then, and still love it now.
This is one of the most ignorant comments on ELO I've seen. Both Discovery and Xanadu were multi-Platinum albums, each one of the selling 5x as many records as Time sold.
I've loved this song since this album came out in the early 80's. I have no idea what this porsche driver is all about (though thanks to the comments I can work it out) but people saying this song will forever be linked with a traffic accident are completely wrong. This song is a great song from a great album and from a great time period, and from one of the best bands (and greatest singer/songwriters) of all time. That's what I think when I hear this song. Nothing else.

Да, музыка не просто классная, она - волшебная. Хоть и не могу сказать, что это моя молодость (уроженец 21 века, что иронично, ведь в этом же альбоме есть об этом песня), однако именно ELO меня вдохновляют и сглаживают серые будни. Спасибо им за это!
