She was also interviewed on the Chelsea Lately show where she blatantly said that she was "so openminded" and unbothered about Alex crossdressing. She fits the narrative around her situation at the time, which just shows how she lacks any authenticity.
It's called body dismorphia... Its not an addiction, she's traumatised and from that came the rest.... Its very sad (I'm a mental health nurse and see it all the time unfortunately)
Do some research on ADHD unfortunately she’s driven by disaster. She’s drawn to the things that a normal person would avoid. It’s actually really sad. When she was on top she was loved and worshipped by loads. I feel sorry for her, others have made themselves out of her misfortune. She really can’t help herself for the mistakes she has made. She’s just a wee child in there still, very vulnerable living behind a mask. I’m not supporting glamour models ect as it’s not something I’m interested in, but she’s still a person and she was definitely the original and the best when she was deemed desirable.
Why do interviewers never pull her up on her lies! The Dad of her kids don’t pay HER because they have them the same amount of time! and she did claim money from Dwight and he paid, that was the reason she then stopped Dwight from seeing Harvey ‘because he wasn’t paying enough’. Go watch the documentaries from ‘the Jordan years’ it’s right there.Harvey used to stay the night with Dwight and he saw him regularly. She treated all her partners like dirt and was the jealous one! She’s threatened to put out explicit pictures of Alex Reid if he speaks out about her. Shes killed numerous pets. No one ‘hates’ you Katie, calling you out in your numerous lies and spiteful behaviour is not ‘hate’. @AnonDa she admits she was naive too. Did you not listen. I hate to talk about money but let's go. She said so many millions were coming in she wouldn't check her account. She just knew the 6 bed mansion was there, the ferrari was there, the big range rover was there, the 250k horse was there. Just thinking she was on top and that the money would never run out. she said she got humbled when there was no money left and she was facing bankruptcy. Made her see the view she said repeatedly the whole podcast money is the root of evil. If thats not accountability, i dont know what is.

Not Katie’s biggest fan but you can clearly tell since her divorce with Pete she went downhill and even more so with Alex & Kieran which shows that abuse, trauma , cheating etc does have an impact on MH? People are so cruel to her but not to the people who have done this to her.

I listened earlier, good to hear her side of the story for a change rather than the sensationalised reporting from the dying mass media. And then I see some comments on here that sadly show how many people still believe the dying mass media without realising or understanding the tactics they use. In the end, Katie is still a human being with a good and bad side, we all have both sides in us. I would be curious about hearing the stories of her exes though for a fully rounded perspective (which excludes the stories the mass media spouted).

I do believe her but she did contradict herself a little bit in places. But I do believe media does create public hate not just for her but for quite a few people and we believe anything they say about any celeb, we actually don't have the sense to realise we are not around these people 24/7 we've never lived with them. I believe her too. She’s an open book. However, she is economical with the truth in places. She definitely had nannies when her children were younger. There’s always been something very likable about Katie and I think that’s why she’s done so well over the years. I really hope that she spends a lot of time doing deep therapy to help herself cope with everything. That’s the only way she’s going to be truly happy clearly from all the Surgery she, values her too much and sadly she’s ruining them and that’s a mental disorder in itself
She really reminds me of Danniella Westbrook - drugs, destructive behaviour, lessons learned, coming out the other side, onwards and upwards, in a really good place blah blah blah rinse and repeat. Now all they’re famous for is just being a ‘problem person’. Although DW does take a bit more accountability than this one who has absolutely zero, just lays the blame anywhere else but herself. Shame really, like DW she had it all.
I don't think that Katie was blaming anyone apart from herself. She's said she was too naive, too trusting, gullible, she makes rash decisions, she's impulsive, and an over sharer. She spot on, has all the characteristics of someone who is neurodiverse. No one is perfect, but she's a bloody fighter, & that deserves some credit, surely? I fully understand Katie! Being diagnosed at 41 myself with adhd everything makes sense. I presented so well that noone picked up on it yet the signs have been there all along. Diagnosed with bpd at 31 (which i believe was a misdiagnosis and was my adhd showing up in other symptoms), CPTS at 23. Relationships and people I trusted nearly destroyed me and trying to navigate them was creating more trauma because of choices id make which reflected my undiagnosed neurodivergancy. Trauma bonds become very real. This poor woman is so misunderstood. When I think of her, what comes to mind is she's incredibly strong but over everything she's an amazing mother.

My logics usually pretty spot on and I see those women's takes on repeat all over the place. She's like all the others just worse cause she still hasn't figured it out.

So many negative comments on here... but I don't agree with them. Actually I surprised myself by really enjoying this interview. Love her or hate her, Katie has been around and part of British culture for decades and this frank discussion shows just how human and down to earth she is. Something you just don't get from her when reading tabloids. This podcast is about how to manage money - and Katie is famous for supposedly mismanaging millions - I think her story is perfectly suited to this podcast because there are so many lessons to be learned from finding fame when you are too young and not knowing how to manage money. She doesn't come from a background of privilege and good education - imagine being that famous when you are 18. All the headlines I read in papers made me look down at her - but I'm humbled by this interview and now know better.

I saw Katie once at a book signing in Liverpool. I was there visiting. She had the dark hair and was absolutely stunning. This was many years ago. She looks ok here. Nothing about her looks natural but that's her choice.

I've bought one of her books and I do find her an interesting personality. I do feel that she struggles with attachment issues, insecurities, body dysmorphia and other mental health issues but she's going to therapy so that's good. I identify with her cuz I'm nearly her age (44) except I have some fine lines round my eyes when I smile and no perfect veneers so I'm jealous naturally!! Simple solution to the car insurance katie: Open a trust or a non profit ,do something that means something to you. Then purchase an insurance policy that covers any driver for the non profit org , even register your non profit in a family members name and your listed as a volunteer helper.

I fully understand Katie! Being diagnosed at 41 myself with adhd everything makes sense. I presented so well that noone picked up on it yet the signs have been there all along. Diagnosed with bpd at 31 (which i believe was a misdiagnosis and was my adhd showing up in other symptoms), CPTS at 23. Relationships and people I trusted nearly destroyed me and trying to navigate them was creating more trauma because of choices id make which reflected my undiagnosed neurodivergancy. Trauma bonds become very real. This poor woman is so misunderstood. When I think of her, what comes to mind is she's incredibly strong but over everything she's an amazing mother.

Love her or hate her, Katie has been around and part of British culture for decades and this frank discussion shows just how human and down to earth she is. Something you just don't get from her when reading tabloids. This podcast is about how to manage money - and Katie is famous for supposedly mismanaging millions - I think her story is perfectly suited to this podcast because there are so many lessons to be learned from finding fame when you are too young and not knowing how to manage money. She doesn't come from a background of privilege and good education - imagine being that famous when you are 18. All the headlines I read in papers made me look down at her - but I'm humbled by this interview and now know better.

I've bought one of her books and I do find her an interesting personality. Why all the nasty comments? There’s no need for them. She’s not perfect but neither is anyone else. She was very young when she had fame and Money. I believe she’s been used and abused by potential opportunists. She hasn’t helped her own situation either by going for all these looser men. I think she was vulnerable. Katie honesty is phenomenal, she admits her downfalls in life & I take my hat off to her. Most people dealing with this, wouldn't even get past the first hurdle!! I identify with her cuz I'm nearly her age (44) except I have some fine lines round my eyes when I smile and no perfect veneers so I'm jealous naturally!! Simple solution to the car insurance katie: Open a trust or a non profit ,do something that means something to you. Then purchase an insurance policy that covers any driver for the non profit org , even register your non profit in a family members name and your listed as a volunteer helper.
