Never underestimate the devastation trauma leaves on every aspect of life. Depression and mental health issues can literally stop everything and it all implodes. Starting again from a hole if debt and destruction is a huge effort. It takes courage and every ounce of strength you never knew you had. When you can't trust anyone. When the people closest to you steal from you and sell you out at your lowest. Not things you ever get over. It lives on you forever like a tattoo on your face! She's a target. Having ADHD is a curse at times. Lack of executive function and being chased by debts is a fear like no other. It's not ok to judge her without personal experience of these issues. She has pulled herself out of some scary places and tries again. That's a real person doing their best in unreal circumstances.
