    Are you ready to build the RC Drift Car? 🏎💨👇
    Start by purchasing the 3D design STL files of its parts here: cults3d.com/en/3d-model/game/arduino-1-24-4wd-rc-drift-car-with-smoke-effect-chassis-parts-design
    Get your drift car’s parts 3D printed here if you don't have a 3D printer: jlc3dp.com
    And have your receiver PCB from my Gerber file manufactured here: jlcpcb.com
    Check the video description for the rest of the resources to get you started!
    Happy making 🦾🛠
    P.S. See how to add a unique FPV Head-tracking Camera to this RC car: ruclips.net/video/Tu0cay6S5WI/видео.html

    Here are some tips if you are making this and some upgrade(s) i would like:
    -definitely lube the joints AND the gearbox so they can last longer and be much smoother
    -i would definitely water proof the circuits with some sort of polish or use silica gel pouches in case the humidity from the smoke decides to ruin my circuits
    -Max, to up your drifting game, try adding a gyro circuit that way you have much more control over the steering of the car

      Hey! No problem :)
      I recommend learning and practicing the basics of film-making and video editing with the software of your choice before starting your channel. Seek to stand out and pick your theme with the type of projects you aim to make in your niche to narrow down on a particular audience you aim to attract. For example, I chose to make my channel based on fun electronics projects many can relate to. You can come up with the idea for your theme...
      Also, the internet is missing many content creators in my niche like myself who go into detail with project tutorials, this helps many others recreate the projects you make guides on. That is something to think of if you wish to educate others.
      Cheers!

      @@MaxImagination
      Hi MAX ,
      You can coat zinc in plastic gears. This process is commonly done to protect the zinc from corrosion or to modify the friction and it will protect from the buzzing sound and characteristics between the gears.
      The coating is usually applied through techniques like electroplating or painting, and it helps improve the durability and performance of the gears in your rc cool drift car car😀😀😀😀😀

    OUTSTANDING! I looked up those awesome humidifiers! It didn't say, but do they use regular tap water, "purified" water or some other kind? I can't believe how awesome that smoke effect sis from just [some kind of] water! I hope you can answer for me! Thanks! Totally awesome build!

      Hi, Mike! Thank you for your comment! These humidifier modules work from tap and purified water. I tend to use tap water and it works well. Cheers!

      @@MaxImagination Thanks for that! I am just very surprised that the water coming out of it looks like smoke! so awesome! I actually have several of those I am working on a project for my company that involved lighting, but haven't tested them yet. I wonder if something else could be put in them, to make it invisible but yet let light "interact" with it...

    • @MaxImagination
      @MaxImagination  5 месяцев назад +1

      No problem :)
      You can experiment with replacing water with glow stick fluid for something that lights up. Not sure if this will work, but it's worth a try.

    Did you do the calculation to find how much resistors to add? How did you know to add that amount of resistance?

    • @MaxImagination
      @MaxImagination  Месяц назад

      Yes. I used the parallel resistance equation for the correct wattage and expected ohms of combined resistors and used ohms law to identify how many ohms this end resistor had to be.

    Hi Max, I just recently came across your channel and I really like your builds. I'm interested in making rc cars from scratch myself, but I don't have a formal education or the slightest clue on how they work. I would really appreciate it if you could refer me to any resources that I can use to learn. Thanks for the awsome content!

    • @MaxImagination
      @MaxImagination  Месяц назад +1

      Glad you like the channel! You can learn a lot from books and online resources, and don't be afraid to try things out and experiment. For electronics, read "Practical Electronics for Inventors". For Arduino, check out courses on RUclips. For RC cars, you can study the basics of mechanical engineering and take apart lots of toy cars to learn about them :)

    21:55 скороее всего это связано с тем, что у esc не оптимально подобран таймин для этого мотора. Попробуйте зайти в режим програмирования esc и выставить другой, более подходящий тайминг, скорее всего это поможет избавиться от шума.

    • @MaxImagination

    • @MaxImagination
      @MaxImagination  4 месяца назад

      I recommend you either obtain a bidirectional ESC or look into how you can connect 10A relays into a circuit that switches the direction of your current ESC for bidirectional control. However, you may need to do additional coding with this method.

    • @RealRenko
      @RealRenko 4 месяца назад +1

      @MaxImagination switching the 2 of 3 wires of esc using relays that. Seems complex and amazon doesn't ship here so I got one option I am not the best coder do I need another arduino I want to use something small not like uno or do I have code the transmitter and reciver ? Also the joysticks suck is there a different option for that?

    • @MaxImagination
      @MaxImagination  4 месяца назад

      You don't need another Arduino, you can use the dual channel relay method to swap the two outer wires of the 3 bldc motor wires (I suggest you research how this is done on YT/google it). For better joysticks, I suggest using PS4 joysticks.
