After grinding for 6 hours for that win, I got the exact same rank anyway :)
I am starting to tilt only after 15+ loses in a row. It happens rarely.
A lot of the time it's like I can win 3 or 4 games and then every game after that is a loss and it is soooooooo tilting. Especially in games where I am legitimately trying to have fun.
50/50 would honestly be an improvement in many areas in my life.

I'm a new to OW2 casual quick play player who went in to comp to see what rank I'd get. Took me like 17 games to get my 5 wins with around a 70% loss rate.

I feel like the match maker is just really bad at making matches that are even right now, so games are roll or be rolled, more than an actual hard fought battle.
You loose a game and get put against players way lower in skill than you, the next you go masters lobbies. And ultimately the fact that decides how the game goes is if you get lucky with your team mates and the enemy unlucky with theirs. That creates a 50/50, as a result of random chance.

Literally. And it's just such a drastic change of pace going from say a gold/plat lobby to a diamond/masters lobby that you play like garbage.

I've played everywhere from silver to 4.4 and at least once a season i either win 10 games in a row or loose them. For example at the end of season 3 i won a lot and made it gm1 and then at the start of season 4 i dropped to master 1
And in ow2 rank is especially broken because a lot of diamond/plat players got boosted my matchmaking and flooded GM. So it's totally possible that you will have a lot of good/bad players in a row

Unless the 50/50 comes in the form of a few games getting absolutly rolled. And then rolling a few games without 0 resistance..
It's forcing you to carry the team in order to move up in rank. I get the logic but man it's frustrating when you get into games where you get rolled or you roll them

I'm either stacked against GM's who wipe the floor with me and team accuses me of throwing because "ain't no way you're this bad"
Or I'm against gold's whom I roll and then they accuse me of cheating because "ain't no way you're this good"

But FLATS you're the only 1 constant factor in all ur games
That's meant for if your blaming your team mates for the rank your in, This is just the top players duking it out there all such a high skill level that most games are a 50/50. The skill level is just to tight in those ranks

At least you get to the fifty-fifty point. If I take three Ls in a row, I just call it for the night, I don't feel like trying to get a win at that point, but I think that resets the counter and I just go on another L streak the next day lol

I assume flats is kinda meming with the 50/50 thing but wouldn’t that just be a symptom of being at the rank you deserve+Skill stagnation. Like if you aren’t consistently improving faster than the players in your rank wouldn’t you expect your win loss to be close to 50% idk I had a 71% winrate last season. Maybe I’m an outlier or maybe it’s because I haven’t hit gm1 yet but nothing about my current comp experience feels like forced 50/50

Going 0-7 will ruin most people's experience with the game. Blizzard really has some of the worst matchmaking
30% of games are unloseable 30% of games are supposed to be unwinnable. It's what you do with the other 30% that matters. This is how it is in most competitive games. If your average SR is gold 3 and their average SR is gold 2 there's no reason you can't win. The problem is you only have 1 play style and expect it work every time
I feel that because I recently went through like 10 games with 0 kills/insert deaths here dps in comp (I was the support just "watching" this go down knowing full well my rank was about to drop)
@@deusvult6920 I play support. I only suck if my team does nothing against flankers. I even had a team say its my fault. Correct me if I am wrong, but I thought tanks job was to create space, not just forward space but backwards from flankers too? (some DPS heros apply too)
@@deusvult6920 That would be true if the roles were locked to rank(IE: Youre a diamond tank facing a diamond tank) but that isnt the case. Different ranks in different roles provide different value. So expecting the diamond support to pop off like the enemy diamond tank where your gold tank is struggling to stay alive because they're locking the back line down for diamond support to be busy will throw your game, at no lack of trying on your part.
@Fultonian him and sym are the only ones in DPS I can think of off the top of my head.

I think a role que mystery heroes would be dope, keeping that frustration low by locking two healers, it would get rid of the three same picks but two of the same could still be cool to see, minus tanks of course, but could just be a seperate mode
I think my biggest Overwatch accomplishment is how I went from low/middle gold rarely watching top 500 and gm players/streamers because their games looked the same to being able to recognize the huge difference.
