This song isn’t an original composition. There was a GameCube tech demo that showed off the capabilities of the console. Each room had something, water physics, dynamic lighting, reflections, etc. And each room was apart of a peach’s castle. This tune was used for that obscure tech demo.
if little me found out about this place with new levels, he'd freak out. the non scary parts of b3313 feel like more mario 64 content with a dreamy haze, which is a perfect contrast to the house of leaves esque horror of the darker parts

I love everything about this area, it feels like the nicest dreams I had about this game as a kid, which is relieving when certain other areas resemble my nightmares about the same game perfectly.
@@ecstaticwooper368 What's ironic is, same. Due to various circumstances I don't really remember my dreams much anymore. It creates an interesting trade off where I don't get to experience dreams about Mario 64 like I used to, but in a sense the game I used to see there exists when I'm awake now.
This gotta be one of the most comforting and nostalgic songs in the game. It feels like one of the only truly safe places in the hack, along with Nebula Lobby (minus the jumpscare but that's on you)
For some reason this song and place comes off as like a Dream. All Peppy and cheerful, but seeming kinda unreal, like a show is being put on or something.

I barely played Mario 64 as a kid- I had more experience with Mario 64 DS, but even then, I was too young to even understand how to do anything other than play minigames, mess with the title screen, etc., and I lost the copy I had. However, for some reason, this music and the image of the parallel lobby remind me of Mario 64 DS- like a new location that would have been added in the DS version, or maybe it reminds me of DS-era multiplayer lobbies as they connect to the internet/other players. I know the music is a rendition of the music from the GameCube tech demo castle, so it doesn’t even fit what it reminds me of, but I just thought it was weird that my first impression was "this feels like it could have been from the DS version."
This is where i feel safe in the plexus. It's a place i call home. There are showers nearby and no threats in this area. I stayed here for hours, seeing the sun rise and set out the window.
