The castle roof BLJ is most effective when using the middle slope in front of the castle (above the princess window). If you angle to either the left or the right, you will fly off the castle even faster. Also, it would've been cool to see the SBLJ in basement, but I understand if it's a bit too difficult to complete.

If you have too much speed at the wrong time, you can fail LBLJ and get in a small room behind the key door, which would be unaccessible in any normal conditions. As the video shows, the side wall of that room has a low ceiling and from there you can BLJ out of the room. This can be useful to prevent softlocking the game, when you get locked inside without a key for the door.

You can actually do BLJs on every elevator of that level, as long as it moves upwards. As for the BLJ that was shown in the video, it's a pretty hard strat used in 120 speedruns, where they use an elevator to clip throught a wall to get the "Navigating the Toxic Maze" star faster. You can find that elevator in a room near the rolling rocks area.

This was already asked so I'll use the same answer.
To access the second floor of the castle you need to go through a loading zone that you would normally pass into while entering the door. The room you see in the video is delimited from the rest of the castle by an invisible wall, thus making it useless for the sake of the 0 star speedrun.
So basically, you need a key to get to the second floor and to this day I believe there are no other methods to do so.

@@diaryofanasdkid9752 It's a very tough one indeed. It requires a good angle. The easiest way I know how to do it is to have Mario be parallel to the stairs. Best way to do that is to walk up 2 stairs and switch to Mario cam. That way, you can get a more precise position. Once you have the position you're happy with, switch to Lakitu cam, turn 180 degrees, and quickly BLJ after that.
Another (quicker) option to get a good alignment is to run/walk up a few stairs until you're parallel, then immediately do it. This is my preferred method on the endless stairs. Don't be too fast on the mashing however as you may clip through the ground and end up in Wet-Dry World.
