Wrangling Chickens. Returning escaped Marquette Hens to safety again.

The wildlife have chewed openings in my (8 year old) cloth fence and the chickens mistakenly wander through them to the world beyond.
It's almost impossible to get a chicken to go where you want by facing them- they dart past you like a pro football player!
I've learned the art of chicken wrangling! I manage to herd them back inside by walking backwards towards them with my back facing them and it corrals them through the open gate.
