About Seinfeld:
Seinfeld stars Jerry Seinfeld as a stand-up comedian whose life in New York City is made even more chaotic by his quirky group of friends who join him in wrestling with life's most perplexing, yet often trivial questions. Often described as "a show about nothing," Seinfeld mines the humor in life's mundane situations like waiting in line, searching for a lost item, or the trials and tribulations of dating. Co-starring are Julia Louis-Dreyfus as Jerry's ex-girlfriend and current platonic pal, Elaine Benes; Jason Alexander as George Costanza, Jerry's neurotic hard-luck best friend; and Michael Richards as Jerry's eccentric neighbor, Kramer.

It takes a top-tier woman like Marisa Tomei to appreciate George's thoughts on manure.
"And it was around this point that she mentioned the boyfriend." Classic Jerry delivery.
and George was clueless.
His football reference was pretty good too. Just in this 5-minute clap, there was BUNCH of high-level stuff.
There is always a possibility that she called an audible
Yea classic terrible delivery. Why boomers deny this is so annoying
It's crazy that the manure line is the smoothest George has ever been
- when he had a wig and met that girl at the diner who offered George a chair
- when he was doing the opposite of everything and was on a date with Victoria
- when George was the bad boy and called Joanna
- when George used the manure like on Marisa tomei
How is it that a man, so bald and so funny? How’s it that you’re not taken?
You see, Marisa, the thing is, I’m sort of engaged.
👍🏻
Worked on Marissa Tomei
@@alexquinonez8443Not in real life. Her actual boyfriend is FAR better looking than George--pretty much the opposite of George.
Jason Alexander’s delivery of “well, that’s fabulous!” is flawless.
I would bet that was directly from Gleason's Ralph Kramden character.
Most of his deliveries are 😂❤
@@WintersWarlearning from the best
"I mentioned how I liked horse manure." 🤣
Jerry: "You did, you said you liked horse manure"
He just says it so deadpan
Like he's totally unaware that it's likely not the best first date topic
And yet, somehow, that "ma-nure" line works on Marisa Tomei.
@Hanging Gardens It's not a good catch. The audience is supposed to recognize that everything that George had done to turn women off up to that point was exactly what Marisa Tomei liked. Somehow all of George's quirks & downsides made George exactly her type. Of course it's totally silly and unrealistic, but that's what made it funny. All guys want to believe that their quirks & downsides will eventually be the perfect match for some super hottie. Keep dreaming 👍
@Hanging Gardens If only he wasnt already engaged...
It’s because she was into George.
She already had a thing for short. stocky, bald funny guys.
The waitress was interested until she found out more about George. Then she wasn’t lol
You see, Marisa, the thing is, I’m sort of engaged
@Steve Rogers I notice you said "stocky"
Oh hey, Bania could use a manure bit in his next set...it would be GOLD Jerry, gold...
That dude that bania is super good at being obnoxious.
The "yes I sure did" is so funny. That dumb, yet knowing smile and tone.
One thing I've never noticed after all of these years, and perhaps it's because of an assist from HD, is that Jason articulates so much emotion with his eyes! I guess I never even noticed that when watching on an old 4x3 tube TV back in the day, probably because his actual eyes weren't even visible in such low quality!
I love George calling her a liar when he is the king of lying.
Facts 💯
They know, when they see one.....
It's not a lie if he believes it
Everyone in Seinfeld was amazing, best show ever

That actress was in another earlier episode playing Jerry’s girlfriend who dumped him after seeing his act.
"Jeery, I just don't know sometimes."
I saw your act. It didn't do it for me. It was just so much fluff.
“You’re a cashier!”
Yeah, they recycled actors & actresses a lot in Seinfeld.
I was just thinking she looked familiar than remembered her from that episode
I like when Jerry agrees with George encouraging him. "She's on your turf".
I know how to get MYSELF fired. But how to get someone ELSE fired???
sort of a Leon / Larry David moment
I love it when they egg on George.
“I told her that I like horse manure..” It’s so funny that he brings that up so casually because he is so clueless over the possibility that it ruined his date. Absolute comedic genius. 😂
Worked for Marisa Tomei. The thing that ruined the date was that he told her he was sort of engaged
You edited out the best part, when Kramer confirmed she made up having a boyfriend.
They often leave out key or relevant scenes! It's frustrating sometimes.
“She’s on your turf” 😂
The look that Larry gives Jerry & Elaine @4:41 is priceless 😆
And it was around this point that she mentioned the boyfriend...
He's a real watch connoisseur
George's cheap watch was the real reason
Ma+ NURE= Boyfriend. simple physics

Also the BIIIIIIGGG SALAD!!!
@First Of All Right? Just off the top of my head "Pulp can MOVE, baby!" blows the yolk line out of the water.
Yeah, this line is definitely not George's best.
"You're Giving Me The 'It's Not You, It's Me' Routine? I Invented 'It's Not You, It's Me.'"
I remember the yolk scare of 94'.

I doubt many people tell their dates they like horse manure

If that bothered her, she wasn't worth it.
It's sort of hilarious how often George lands dates with women that are well out of his league. I don't get why he complains so much about being unsuccessful in the dating game. If anything, he seems like a freaking Costanzanova.
Costanzanova... you deserved credit for that!
I mean he was short and bald, she was boring and flat.
She wasn't really out of his league

@@SauceOnChickenBallShe's gorgeous. She's absolutely out of his league. And you know a lot of women have the "he has to be taller than me in heals" rule. It would make sense if Geoge was somewhat successful but doesn't he live at home?
At least the last 10 conversations I've had with different women they all mention either the boyfriend or the husband word! It has to be a defensive mechanism for them.
lol that one guy in the audience 2:05
"Huh huh HUUH!"
that sounds suspiciously like Larry David's laugh.
And it's the way they just SLIP it in there, too.

And then George wound up eating at Reggie's by himself.

Lol I guess she wasn't feeling the "manure" bit
She had no reason to be mean towards him. None whatsoever, and this is George we're talking about.
Maybe she was having a bad day and didn’t have time for pleasantries. Sometimes people get stuck in their own headspace and forget about relating to the world around them.

Nah. Curb is the best ✍🏻
I mentioned how I like horse manure...worst thing you can say on a date
I just realized the waitress probably thought George was rich because of his watch, and that’s why she agreed to go out with him.
It was only a few months ago that I found out she was the same actress from "The Ex-Girlfriend" (where she had a southern accent and dated Jerry after breaking up with George)
George is a ma-niac for liking ma-nure😂
I always loved the manager of monks, he didn't make many appearances but it was always funny when he did. Usually to reprimand jerry's gang, it's a wonder they never got banned they caused so much trouble at that place.
I guess, but it grossed me out how they would find his rubber bands in the soup.

They probably keep the place in business with how often they eat there. No wonder they have such a long leash.

You tell your friend George, that the next time I see him around here, I’m going to turn him into my own personal hand puppet!
Waitress is the same actress from the episode where Jerry says to the woman who did not respect him or his act and he replied, "BUT YOU'RE A CASHIER!"
Damn dude good eye, she has the southern accent though, when she plays the other person
She's one of the several female actors that plays 2 different characters on the show.

In reality someone who looks like George is highly unlikely to get a date with someone who looks like her. Unless he has money.
"Manure is actually pretty refreshing" 😀
Some people go though many years without smelling manure
"It happens...."
I wish I had a friend like Jerry.
The walk back in? That's the toughest move in the business.

Oh! you left out the part when George discuss with Jerry about coming back to Monks and ask her out: "that's the hardest move in the business"
That’s the same girl who was the redhead that George dated and Jerry hooked up with after. The one with the line “Jerry I don’t know sometimes” in the southern accent.
@@halomaster9640 Oh really? Then who was the other actress they look very similar.
@@halomaster9640 Gotcha I see.
I'm 15 and this show was our family dinner show for some time, Truly jerry Seinfeld's greatest brainchild. I understand that it ended because Larry David left it and Jerry was tired of directing it alone, and overtime the show would have lost its touch since there are only so many things an episode can cover when it stops becoming relatable, but I think that a short modern spin-off would be a nice touch. A "Return to Seinfeld" that would only have maybe 1 or 2 seasons which would touch on what's happened to the gang since we left them in jail would bring a smile to the generation who grew up watching it and allow my generation to get introduced to a truly spectacular, hilarious, heartwarming show about nothing.
Yes. Good call. The actress did play in another episode when she dumped Jerry because of his comedy act 👍...JP

Yes, it's the same actress, Tracy Kolis.
If I'm not talking into the soap right now, call me back!
Yeah, that's what I thought, but she had a bad southern accent in the Jerry girlfriend episode! She was good in both episodes. Jerry's last line to her after she dumped on his comedy "You're a cashier!" I guess she got a promotion to waitress.
How can Jerry, the personification of neat-freakism, leave near-empty cereal boxes standing? To make Kramer squirm in the face of a hangry date? Oh, the humanity! The sheer cruelty of it all!
Never crap where ya eat (never date someone from your favorite restaurant)
SHE WAS A CASHIER!!
I like how this show can make anything either a bad thing or a good thing.
Talking about horse manure is just a funny small talk. It doesn't give you enough to dislike someone.
But this waitress treated it like a bombshell.
Also, do you think the waitress had a boyfriend or not?
I mean when George called, she right away knew it was George, but she could still have a bf, she was just sure he wouldn't call.
I can see it both ways. It was just meaningless banter, but I can also see how a woman might be turned off by it. This guy is weird...
Women are supremely easy to spook, and once they close a door, it stays closed.
Hate it when they slip in the "my boyfriend" casually into a conversation.

This is the definition of Retail Nice
I'm confused why he was sweating her over the way she took his order at 2:55 ...if she has a bf, why would he be concerned how their "banter" goes
Im on George’s side with this one. Shes the one who lied to George about having a boyfriend and then gave him attitude when he went back to the coffee shop
I think most people would be on George's side for this.
You agree its justified to try and get her fired because she didn't want to date him and it became awkward at the coffee shop lmfao?
She didn't actually have a boyfriend. She just made that up after George started talking about horse manure.

If you ever meet a woman thru online dating, there is a chance she'll mention her boyfriend on the first or second date.
She was being very passive aggressive, but that's no reason for George to try and get her fired
IDK... Sounds like a fair trade to me 😂
Of course there's a reason, he's George
What choice does he have? Clear the air with her so they can coexist in the diner? George isn’t a mature guy, he’s a ma-nure guy.
Except he’s George Costanza
Because that's George's turf.
You're just a cashier.
The most despicable female character in the whole series, brilliantly played, which makes her even more despicable.
And poor George, finding new ways to turn a positive situation into an incomfortable one, then into a bad one. At the end, the evil witch is gone, yet George is still banned. Cursed I should say.
Cruelty of the highest order.
