My dad showed me how to make bsl when I was a baby for fishing in florida, his dad taught him. They are so easy to make here I'm starting to make them now for chicken feed and am going to keep expanding until I can sell to reptile and fish shops.

That means your attactant is good. Basically fruit flies and BSF are attached to the same smell, perhaps it's just about the BSF population in your neighborhood. But if both flies have laid eggs on your attactant, just let it be.. BSF life cycle is much longer than fruit flies
