- can you believe we thought Tetris Effect didn't have any more line clears to offer? an update has since renamed 25+ lines "wtftris", and there are strategies to go past even 27, but I still think this looks cool :)

Can this also work with Gemini's doubled long bars?
I doubt it but maybe? you'd need more of them since they'd be half the width, which means you need more bags worth of pieces (difficult like Journey 23) and since you need 2 columns to spawn pieces but only have 1 hold piece, you'd have to perfectly end on a gemini piece (requires aligning a 1/7 chance in advance, and means every piece you get in the final zone has to be doubled)
then on top of that, you have to get the slim chance for 8-bars instead of one of Gemini's other doubled long bars
It could bypass the "placing long bars across board during the first zone" issue, which would mean requiring only one zone.
How did you prevent rain and bump up from happening?
Tetrimidion only uses signature blitzes so with just Taurus enabled, it won't use rain or bump up (at least not for the first few blitzes) whereas the actual Taurus fight would alternate between common blitzes and signature blitzes (Giant and after enough blitzes, Giant combined with a common blitz)
Weird. When I did a custom one with Taurus, Gemini, and Capricorn, I did get common blitzes.

can you push even further with rng and getting alot of bump ups from the boss?
yes! all the way to 36 in theory, but I believe 34 is the world record
whats the reason that makes 36 the limit? could you tas for rng manipulation and a higher amount?
@@alternativewanderer nope; 36 is the hard limit. it's almost certainly TAS-only levels of rng manipulation.
due to the Tetris Guideline, the board is only 40 rows high internally - if a single mino or the active piece tries to go higher, you'll top out or the piece will kick down.
and since you can only fill 9 minos per row (plus an extra mino for each row containing an active piece, minus some minos to have some room to kick and stall the piece), you can't get 370 minos worth of material on the board.
