- Guys, I’m serious, how do I top this? (pun intended)This truly is the coolest top I’ve ever knitted, and not only did I knit this, I also designed it myself and am making a pattern for it. If you want to knit this awesome geometric cut out top yourself, you can either become a tester for me and sign up at the link below, or find it on my Ravelry designer page from around end of April 2024 onwards. It’s called the Strangle Me With Fashion Top because it’s coolness will take your breath away (gosh, I’m on fire today).

the sound from your clip-on mic in most sections (with the green top, one with the stripy jumper, midway try-on, black blouse, bed-mode, grey blazer, black sleeveless over white t-shirt, test knit call) only comes through on the left

I love the top! You're too cute in this video & made me chuckle with you. What is the yarn you're using? I love knitting, but I'm slow...it's more relaxing that way for me, and I don’t try to rush.
thank you, your comment made me smile 😊 I used the 8/4 Cotton from Sostrene Grene, which is a 100% cotton, non-mercerised and its meterage is 160m/50g.
I‘m actually also not the fastest knitter. I could knit faster, but I rather take my time, enjoy the process and also make fewer mistakes 😄 same as you
@Crafty-Chiara Thank you. I've used cotton for other things and if you dry it, it shrinks. If you line dry it, it's stiff and stretches out of shape. Does this yarn hold up well for a top? I really want to make your summer top, but not sure if I need to make it bigger than my size to allow for shrinkage or smaller to line dry and stretch?
The top you designed and made is gorgeous! And not to take focus from that, but I have to ask: the green top you are wearing in the beginning of the video, is there a pattern for that? :)

@@Crafty-Chiara I just looked at the pattern on Ravelry. Your project notes are gold! I want to get better at taking notes about patterns, my process etc, so I can help myself and others with information.
