"Curry soup" - Our Sunday hike got snowed in and we walked farther than we meant to.

Quick Sunday walk turned into a little longer hike when we reached the snow and everyone got excited. Ended up climbing about 1900ft (from the Chaney trailhead) and hiking about 4.8 miles up mount Lowe road just outside Los Angeles. Total round trip back to the trailhead was about 9.6 miles. The puppy got all tuckered out by mile 6 and had to be carried the rest of the way down. She was pretty wet and cold after her romps in the snow!
Our feet were a little sore and we were cold and happy to refuel on some curry rice once we got home. Editing this curled up on the couch; my wife provided the title and picked the music and then promptly fell asleep.
