@@freename I get 74Mbps down & 18Mbps Up. Im with Vodafone Broadband which as you know uses the exact same line as BT/Openreach. I pay only £21 a month with Landline included!
BT Mobile still exists, I re-contracted to another year family SIM plan off them in September. BT Mobile gives you free roaming in the EU whilst EE does not.
If you have EE broadband, you can get £20 off and if you get their £39 one with that offer it will be £19 and you can choose on loads of things like Apple Music, Netflix, Disney or Free EU roaming up to 50GB
@GlowPickForSale I'm paying 15 quid a month for our 2 family sims, so £7.50 a piece, which gets us unlimited minutes + texts and 15GB doubled up to 30GB as we're on Halo 3. We still use our landline quite a lot too, or 'digital voice' as it's called now, which is on a legacy package so costs about £1.90 a month for unlimited to landlines and 1000 minutes to BT mobile. We'd lose all that moving over to EE, not to mention we've got 3 BT Alexa phones for the landline that don't fully function with anything but the BT smart hub 2. They tried to shove me over to EE but I dug my heels in and weren't having it. I re-contracted our Fibre 500 with Halo 3 for another 2 years at the same price I've paid for a few years now. Halo 3 lets you re-contract anytime so I do it mid March every single year which avoids the annual price rise 😉
BT focusing on business, EE will be their consumer arm Been like that for a good few months now, you'll see it already with EE having taken over mobile and television etc. Family sim still available on BT Mobile, but not for new customers. BT still offer broadband upto 1gb tier, want new 1.6gb tier then that is EE only.

If the RUclipsr actually wanted to review EE's version of the Smart Hub 3, then they needed to have got sent the Smart Hub Plus. The Smart Hub Plus is EE equivalent of the BT Business Hub 3. It uses WiFi 6, it still has 1gb ethernet ports and if you upgrade to EE highest tier of 1.6gb, you will also get a new ONT box installed as it uses a 2.5gb WAN port. This RUclipsr clearly did not do any research as BT are moving all consumers to EE and the different versions of EE Smart Hub and Smart Hub Plus have been common knowledge for many months now. The RUclipsr has just been sent EE branded Smart Hub 2 and just assumed that they had got the latest model. Clearly misleading anybody who has viewed this, sadly the RUclipsr claims to know but infact doesn't know. Next time, do research before posting and making a fool of yourself 😂

If you are on a full fibre product (where you have a white openreach box with green flashing lights on it) then distance isn't a problem.
New customers can no longer get bt mobile
EE rebrand all BT gear. Because want everyone to move across to them in future
It does seem that way
BT focusing on business, EE will be their consumer arm
Been like that for a good few months now, you'll see it already with EE having taken over mobile and television etc.
Family sim still available on BT Mobile, but not for new customers.
BT still offer broadband upto 1gb tier, want new 1.6gb tier then that is EE only.
Bt I just hate them right shower of idiot's
Well I swap over to EE is worth getting there hub. I want it someone ring me back probably stick to BT hub. See these review made you think best BT Hub. Everything still work same stick to Bt hub. Has this one sound not to good.
This is not a Smart Hub 3 😂
You clearly not know what you are talking about 😂
For starters, the BT Smart Hub 3 has been available for a good few months now, however the BT Smart Hub 3 is only available to those on BT Business.
The RUclipsr here has just been sent a EE branded Smart Hub 2, which is just their branded version of the exisiting BT Smart Hub 2.
Next time, do research before posting and making a fool of yourself 😂
this was so damn simple why oh why can it not say (the little button on the side of the hub) simple
Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeer its too confusing i may exist without life is easier to just sit and read a book....😢😢😢
What do you want to know about the router?
@@freename nothing it's all history now! I couldn't get hub 6 to reconnect to skyq box...four days of struggle but I found a bt help comment ...turn off turn on trick!!! Yay 😁
mot bad. i would recommend you to do research before talking about devices like this, dont know what that usb is isn't looking good on your video. i would not recommend to show password and serial number to people. its easy to find your network and hack it
I would challenge anyone to find and log into the network shown in the video :) BT WiFi names are not unique and are reused by several routers/customers but rarely enough that they would never be within range of eachother. (Passwords are different).
AWFUL
The video or the router (or both) :) ? I'm happy with either answer.. but would be nice to know which.
Got everythung set up except for phone connector.
Just keeps flashing and won't see hub for pairing. Anyone else have similar problem and how to fix it?
You hold down the WPS / pairing button on the hub until it's light starts flashing, then you press OK on the phone BT supplied? (It has to be a stupid digital voice phone, not just any old phone you had spare).
@@freename
Still no joy but thank you.
