I was told by the call centre that all residential services were moving over to EE, and BT would be for businesses only. Was I informed correctly? At the moment awaiting switch over from BT to EE.
Currently switched from BT to EE was cheaper and was told it was a more advanced router etc but I game alot and connection speed reliability and latency is a huge benefactor aswell as reliability. Was with BT for 8 years it didn’t go offline once! So you do you think EE will be the same quality of connection service and reliability and are both companies running from the same lines so in essence both exactly the same just a different router/hub?
Whether with BT or EE, the tech support numbers both connect to the same service. Technical support is totally unreliable. WiFi 7 on the EE hubs is terrible. I have shut the hub down to 5G only to get a reasonable WiFi.

That is correct but it's not happening immediately, you can still buy BT residential broadband.

That's correct - should be the same service basically, as well as the same support team.
