- I wanted to try something challenging and wanted to make a song in one day. :) It took me like 4 and 1/2 hours to make that song and I recorded the entire process of me making it - I thought cutting it into a short little youtube vid would be fun. Turns out I had to cut and edit 4 hours of video material. 🙃 So it took way longer to edit all of that than making that song haha - that'll serve as a lesson for future me. hope you like that vid tho, if not feel free to let me know what I can do to improve video quality-wise or musical-wise :)
I called this song 'Dystopia' and it is out now on all streaming platforms:

Im crying thats so beautiful
man this helps so much. thank you
🔥🔥🔥
glad to hear that!
so hard and so deep! Keep it up))
I will! thank you so much
absolute banger
thank you
Damn, Son where'd ya find this? Impressive stuff my friend. You make it look easy but in reality, it's just not. The amount of things that are going on in any EDM song is always what people miss. They think anyone can do it until you put them infront of a DAW and let them have a go at it. Sobering to say the least.
this is fucking amazing man
so fucking fire, major props dude
thats awesome to hear! thanks man!
that's incredible man
glad you like it
Awesome 🔥
perfect sound detalistation in details
thanks for your creation
thank you so much!
how do you only have 256 subscribers after making such a good tutorial ?
im not consistent with youtube, thats probably the key thing
but i have an updated version of a hardwave tutorial planned, with all the new stuff i improved on!
@@crowit. damn, just as i wanted to try to do hardwave i stumbled upon your stuff, when is the updated version of the tut going to come out?
@@robyn6344 unfortunately, i havent started making it yet. since this was supposed to be a bigger video that should cover all the essential parts of the song making process: coming up with the melody/progression, song arrangement, fills and ear candy as well as mixing (and maybe mastering?). I wasnt too sure how to approach this without it ending up as a full month of work lol
thank you so much this is fire as hell!!
Sounds great!
Goosebumps
I really appreciate that! thank u
świetny tutorial! Dzięki!
Very nice. in waiting of new tutorial :)
thats such a good song break down! Love it
thanks man! glad to hear that you like it :)
crazy shit my guy wow😭😤
much love to you man ❤
i want to learn to create music like this, this video will be usefull thank you buddy, p.s is it possible for you to upload all 4hours video so some of us can figure out how exactly you did things?
thank you so much bro
unfortunately I don't have the full screen recording anymore. I'm currently working on another video and I'll try to make it more detailed and try to explain all the things I'm doing :)
if you have specific questions regarding this track feel free to hit me up^^

Wtf fire
Sick

thanks a lot
@@crowit. how did u do all of the automations ? min 1:30 like I tried some but I cant hear a difference on the lead :/
@@c4tchme254 I tweaked one parameter for example the decay time of the serum patch an then go to 'tools' -> 'last tweaked' -> 'create automation clip'
I did that for the decay of the serum preset, for the filter and for some reverb and delay sends
hope that helps :)
nice tutorial
daaamn
how long you've been creating music?
I've been playing around for almost 7 years and I'm nowhere close to this
Appreciate it💫
Ive actually been producing since late 2018 so this is my 5th year of making music :)
Great tutorial! I often struggle with picking the right reverb settings and amount on the lead melody. Could you tell me what kind or reverb you applied to it?
I find myself using send channels with 100% wet for lead reverbs and heavily sidechaining the dry signal to the reverb signal. Usually I go for long and bright reverb settings. Starting at 4 and going up to 6 or 7 seconds of decay, whatever suits the current song. Hope that helps!
@@crowit. Much appreciated! Will drop a sub on the channel.
@@Dsteen12345 thank you so much!
Can someone sugest me a drum kit that's working great to make hardave ?
There's a bunch of cool sample packs by hardwave artists out there, but trap, hardstyle or trance dedicated sample packs will work too :)
I find myself using the Teneki's Lost Audio Pack, the Osias bassgod drum kit and the JÖST and DXXDLY sample pack quite often. I also heard that the cyberwave collective sample pack is good too
Thank you so much@@crowit. , hope that one day I'll be able to do this kind of song by myself ! And one last question, I can see in your video that you use the plugin "make it garage". Can't seem to find it on the web... Where dit you find this plugin ?
@@unreal6200 haha good question bro! In Fl Studio you can kind of build your "own plugin" consisting of multiple actual plugins. It is called Patcher and I just combined a parametric eq2 (to cut of the highend) with a flanger and a reverb to make the drums more washed out. I've done it this way, because I could use just one automation to toggle all 3 plugins on and off instead of having 3 separate automations
Oh wow 🤯give me your best advice to progess as you did bro
@@unreal6200 I think the key to getting better at your craft almost always boils down to constant learning and experimentation. learning how to use the tools in your arsenal and learning music theory, while also applying this knowledge to your songs will help you out a lot in understanding what you are doing and why stuff works out and why it sometimes doesnt. getting better also means failing a lot, having projects that dont turn out good/listenable or just having projects for the sake of experimentation/having fun in the daw trying out a bunch of new stuff. a huge leap of growth for me was when I started studying the work of others I look up to. studying your favorite songs and why you like them as much as you do, can really help figuring out how to achieve making the songs you want to make. maybe its the song structure in your fav song, maybe the melodies, maybe the rhythm of the drums or a combination of everything mentioned above. copying or remaking these aspects and concepts in your own work, is the best way of learning - thats what I found for myself. maybe it will help you too :)
what key is this in? sick track
Hook us up with an FLP
if more ppl want the flp I think I can upload it on drive🤔
@@crowit. pls do it
@@fugia3444 the flp is now linked in the description if you want to check it out :)
@@crowit.Thanks buddy!!
