Absolutely recommending Kingdom of Cards. I'm a tad biased as it's the first song that introduced me to them and I loved the song for so long that I didn't listen to the FGBGFU album until at least a year later lol. But still to this day years later it is one of the best lyrically.
My mother & Noah's mother were lifelong best friends. His mom was pretty toxic honestly and he was orphaned at an early age. He's been through some extremely tragic events in his life for sure. I'm proud of him.
Yes, if he became an orphan at 15, having just his grandparents, dropped out of school and made this band, and became one of the best vocalists in this genre, he battled depression and didn't give up, so you shouldn't give up either! 🥺🤍
When I first heard this son I straight away made connection with Chester, the line “if you need a place to hang your head” is one of them but also “you’d be a better memory alive rather than not” I think references “Leave Out All The Rest” where in the choruses Chester sings “And when you’re feeling empty, keep me in your memory leave out all the rest”. Also Noas vocal delivery in the last part screaming “I’m not giving up” is very similar to Chester’s screams, so those three things had me go… It has to be about Chester no way it’s accidental.
Seriously so many people have been sleeping on these dudes! So glad after all these years listening to them that they are starting to blow up! They deserve it. Super talented band and Noah is arguably the best vocalist out there right now!

As melodic and spot on as he can be with his vocals and then flip a switch like that to hit the super low growls or high screams. Its flat out amazing. He's a super talented dude!

Any song from this album is a masterpiece. This is where their sound really became their own and it only got better with The Death of Peace of Mind. I'd also highly recommend Burning Out, Kingdom of Cards and Never Know. The unplugged (acoustic) versions are worth a listen too.

I discovered Bad Omens last year through this song as it was used as a song on the Paradise City TV series (which is the continuation of the American Satan movie, if you have seen either, they are a must watch and both have Amazing soundtracks!!) Sadly, the actor who was the singer in the TV show passed away from a medical condition. So it is doubly sad with that in mind. Still an Amazing band!!!! 🤘🏻🤘🏻
