In this diablo 2 resurrected episode, I showcase my hurricane druid. This is the laziest build ever!
It melts anything at P1 with just one click, hope you enjoy the video, subscribe & turn on the bell for more videos.
Stat points:
Str, enough to wear a monarch (156str)
Dex, nothing
Vita, all in !
Energy, nothing
Budget gear:
Helm = peasent crown, lore (runeword), shako, +3ele / 20fcr circlet or rare 2druid/20fcr circlet
chest = vipermagi, stealth or smoke or lionheart " runewords
amu = rare crafted amu +1-2druid skill/10fcr+, magic 3elemental amu 10fcr, low mara
2x rings = 10fcr rings with some usefull stats (mana life MF str dex resists) or dwarf, raven
gloves = magefist or trangoul
belt = thundergod, string, verdungo or rare 24fhr/50+life belt
boots = aldur boots, rare boots 30frw + resists
shield = spirit monarch
weapon = suicide branch, wiz spike or spirit sword, 6 sock weapon with cold facets
weapon switch = naj staff or staff with teleport charges

That eth vortex shield is gorgeous.
This is basically why i play the druid , so i can just use my hurricane and if i want to go faster i can throw tornados to help...

Agreed! I have only found 2 eth Kurast shield with 45 res so far.. but still good enough to make them Exile anyway
I found one but didn't quite understand the value and traded it away for a fraction of it's value.

Nice build, I was working on something like this but a pure cold caster druid(Arctic blast+Hurricane), also my "Dire Wolf" hurricane/fury druid which uses Ice instead of Doom, very nice all around!

Any reason why not trangs gloves over mage fist? I would assume the cold res on the gloves help with the sunder charm.
You don't really need resists with this char/build (lvl40+ cyclone armor 🙂) so Trang is bis (25%regen mana).

I am currently running a doom druid hardcore lvl 97 clears p8 solidly not a javazon or CE necromancer but i can keep up with the hammerdin style honestly when you get smart and style with nados with certain tele stomp patterning it can clear huge packs surprisingly well. I am enjoying this druid way more than i thought i was going to. I run a -58% doom NW 20%/-5 spirit a 2/16fcr ammy 1 fcr ring i dont use bone break because of it being hardcore and the things that are immune to physical slap physically hard so i use the reapers toll treachary setup on merc which also slaps for tornado damage. Only reason i made this comment and took the time to is i read its a solo farmer and not a p8 build just presenting the argument it is a very solid p8 build just dont expect to be a geared out zon/lightsorc/mosaic killer

You can also de-equip your merc and turn off hurricane against dolls while playing hc. Only their corpse explosion dmg u need to worry about

Is FCR just for teleport? Considering Hurricane is a duration skill
for tornado & teleport (by the way it's either 68 or 99fcr)
Such a cool build, though I wish the wind Druid could carry his own weight through players eight.
with 8 players i never have a problem the boosts you can get from the other characs usually makes me about invinsible ... All comes down to the right gear

Sounds like a fun build however how does it fair on players 5 and 7 with top tier gear?
A bit weak for P5+, need at least 2-7 hurricane hits to kill a unique pack.

I started play a summoner druid. It works very well in Normal an Nightmare. This char is my first single Player Char so i start with nothing. I like the Hurricane Druid. If i had enough stuff i try this

Pretty nice build, did a -60 cold doom and decide to try it and have some fun. Its nice but after p4-5 its kinda.. slow killing :(

Ah, but is this one player? I only really run in 4 player Bnet (4 acnts) and figure that tornado is still necessary to do good damage? Really just swap out my 5-nado with nightwing and hoto for doom zerker? Amazing finds though!
Thanks, this build only shines in P1, better make a pure tornado druid or fire druid for higher players count.

Yes & in patch 2.7, tornado/hurricane gets a huge buff too so go for it

I made myself a werewolf hurricane Druid. Instead of spirit Monarch I use a jmob with facets and a ap with facets. Head is +3 ele and +2 hurr and another 2 facets. With doom u have -110 cold res. And with feral rage ur mobility is not that bad but of course not as fast as enigma.

Also, on ladder you would only play at P1, so more than that is irrelevant? Playing in full party means 7 other people taking the loot before you

Not lazy enough, I like beast/pride summoning Druid. I run around in bear form and just get close to the mobs.

Hey, it lacks dmg, you will need at least 2-7 hurricane hits to kill a unique on P8. I mean, it's possible but it's slower than a fire druid or pure tornado.

dont mind with ormus , its more often to see a jah rune than a perfect one with the right skill, i found blizzard with 13 n put a 55 and 18% gain me around 2,5k dmg , not bad i reached 15k with df n ngtveil

I wanted a summon build so bad with druid but end up getting elemental because it gets hard in hell and nightmare
Think rabies still needs work... but rabies/hurricane wolf would be interesting with the doom...
Adding to hurricane also helps arctic armor, which can be proc'd with the Rain RW for druid... also tornadoes get proc'd

Yes, i'm going to play d4. I'm not sure about d2r... It depends! I guess i will upload more videos if blizzard keep making new content like new patch, new items, etc...

Good equipment, but your Resistances are pretty low with your Items.
I hate dolls even in softcore as a melee character, BTneanderthal had best idea in his mod had a 2 sec delay on the explosion off them

The phys sunder makes no sense whatsoever, if you're not using amp or decrep, why not just get another skiller? 5% of the phys component isn't that much when you deal less cold damage at the same time, and on any non immune monster it's a total waste.
Hey, i actually tried without it & it slows down you run quite a lot, phys sunder is a must mate. This is really useful when encountering phys res immune mobs, ESPECIALLY unique packs. If you plan to farm an area without phys res immune mobs, you can get one more skiller for sure.
@@ilovemf I'm sorry to say that, but seems you might be right, tested that on ww barb and does actually a half-decent job, maybe not enough to farm like that, but enough to leech mana.
The Bone Break sunder charm is useful for a Wind druid doing Tornados and not expecting to get much hit like a melee class, which would be much more risky. Do be careful with those nasty dolls popping instantly in the Hurricane, while having reduced Physical resistance!! 😂
@@Dragonphoenix25 it's lvl45 hurricane & lvl45 tornado (7k+dmg) so you really need a phys sunder no matter if it hurts or not 😁. Just be carefull at dolls on HC!
Does the cold sunder work with doom the way it works with a blizzsorc (ie no 1/5 penalty)?
Quite sad build for Hell difficulty. I use Tesladin with 2 Dream runewords and Conviction aura.
