No it’s not. Only get what you feel that you need for progress. If you’ve determined that you need a monitor but you want to keep your costs low, grab one from eBay or Craigslist.

Today you changed my mindset cause I’ve been on the grind learning forex but when I finally learnt it for some reason I had a feeling of content and started back doing things tht I previously put a hold on like gaming. Now every time I partake in any old habits I always thought that I was a waste of life and I don’t deserve wishing for success, using those words as a form of motivation not realizing that in reality I’m just making myself feel like utter sh*t. The funny thing is I say these things to myself but don’t change anything, this video really inspired me to take a different approach fr. I’ve been grinding for so long that now it feels like I’m doing nothing at all, maybe I just need to work harder. Either way thanks brotha really opened my eyes, it’s now up to me to make a difference.🙏🏾💯

You’re 💯 spot on brother. Since I am journalling my trades and reviewing them in the evening, got a playbook with setups and doing visualisations/mindfulness I am profitable. +4% in October with Forex and indices (I am coming from retail crypto background so I had to get used to those assets and pairs). This month I am aiming for anywhere between +5% to +10%. All that stuff does make a massive difference day after day

My major goal for next year is to learn how to feel good with losses. Here’s an initial list of how it’s possible (or, at least, not so bad as usually):
gratitude
realise I didn’t do bigger mistakes, especially tilt, overtrading\overrisking
if this loss is from plan than it’s very nice, fantastic, beautiful
keep bigger picture in mind, in some time you will not even remember it and will feel nothing about it, actually nothing, it will just go by.
in normal profitable system of good execution losses will really have almost no influence
losses are NATURAL part of trading, say fantastic and beautiful, especially if the entry was good. Every time you have a loser and was able to not take somehow emotional trade after it, VALUE it, it’s really a big sign you’re doing good!

I will also be more disciplined at back testing and doing my report card. I think the lack of discipline has to do with removing the last vestige of not being accountable.

i self sabotage by not entering my trades when the hit my setup. been improving but still missed 3 winning trades this week from it. thats my biggest issue
I can add to this. Deliberate practice + timely feedback on what did and did not work = improvement.
The reason your system worked is not your journal. if anything you wrote on their was wrong you would just be reinforcing bad habits. it's the fact that through backtesting you were able to exctract edge and memorize it in your journal that you found success.
Next, 100% I believe that trading is about pattern recognition. and you have to memorize profitable patterns and cues as well as the market conditions that make them work.
There is no profitability long term in trading without memorizing edge and executing only on edge that is your A+.

I keep going a few steps forward and a few steps backwards. It’s frustrating but I know I’ll get it. When I make it, I want to do something so new traders can find each other in their area so they can help each other. Everyone has different strengths and weaknesses and we’re naturally stronger in numbers. I know I would be hugely successful already if I had someone else at my level to trade with and it would help them even more because I always seem to know where the market is going, I just struggle with execution and holding the trades
When I read your first two sentences I knew I had to respond. I just came out of the situation you are in. I wasn’t losing with trading however I wasn’t gaining either. I would acknowledge that grow of not losing everything but I could not get ahead and it was frustrating. That is actually the moment when it crossed my mind to let it go HOWEVER….I took a three week break from the charts and worked on psychology. I changed my mindset around money. I had to realize the market is forever making. When I returned to the charts my mind was slightly different. I didn’t mind if I missed a move that I saw. I knew more money would come. I stuck to my plan more which meant hopping out of trades at a secure place and feeling ok with “leaving money on the table”. Something just clicked and my trading has improved. You are at the peak of crossing your mountain. Acknowledge how far you’ve come and work on your mindset and push ahead. You’re so close. You got this.

Brother Rasheed ! I can’t tell you how many times I tried to walk away from your channel but I just kept landing back. Today I added an alert to get all your notifications. You recommended a book and just off the summary I saw how my life can change . Currently right now I am battling with if I should have a set & forget approach which helps me from managing my trades and cutting my winner short like how you once experienced . I hear people say scale in so many times or cut your losses short but for me I keep telling myself that doing those things will bring me back to managing my trades and cutting my winners to early. Any advice on a set & forget approach or scaling in is a must if you want to be a profitable trader ?

If you are going to swing trade, what I would recommend is that you start gaining consistency without scaling in. Once you gain consistency with it, then start scaling in if you feel that you should
