  • 1/10 Gold in 2024, going for a tube of 20.
    I feel this is the year for gold for me, I will still continue to buy silver that interests me but I want to concentrate on gold this year. As you know it always important to challenge yourself and this year is no different.
    Thanks for all the support, I really appreciate you all liking , commenting, subscribing and sharing.
    All that really helps this channel reach its goal

    The gold Britannia's are my all time favorite fractional bullion to stack! Maples are great as well. To answer your question- if you can find the AGE for a cheap premium, it's worth adding!

      Britannia's Yes but, keep about 80% by value in full 1oz coins. the other 20% in fractional. If you need to liquidate in a hurry the 1oz coins currently above $2000 or £1600 can take time to sell.

    I to, Just recently started the 1/10 oz gold, only two so far, gold eagles, after full tube, I will start with the Maples. 😊

    Yes. Good goal. I did a 1/10 oz challenge 2 years ago. I’m in the States, so mostly American Gold Eagles. Maples, Britannias, Kookaburra, Perth Lunar especially this year being year of the dragon and AGEs are all good candidates IMHO.

    I stack the 1/10 Britannia, Phil’s and when there are great sales the AGEs and maples. I do look for deals on the 1/10, all the time. This year I’m adding the 1/4oz too (i’ll try to keep it at 10% or under for the premiums)

    I'm putting together a gold plan. I think I'm set on getting 2 gram bars. I was thinking about 1/10 oz gold for sometime but I like to have a consistent stacking plan and I don't want to be all over the place getting random gold.

    I may be wrong but I believe that Britannia's were 22 carat until 2014 when they changed to 9999

      Yes they were 22k ,
      I read it was 2013 they switched to 9999
      Doesn’t matter the year

    That is a worthy goal! The 1/10 gives us options in the future to sell just a bit and I love that. Ounces are all or nothing. I'm heavy into gold this year too but like you still picking up silver.

    I'm working on a tube of 1/10 ounce Britannia's myself. Although the premium is still on the high side for that size coin, the britannia seems to be the most palatable. Admittedly the britannia I like the most is the ten ounce silver bar. It pretty much has everything going for it.

    I just got my first 1/10th gold royal arms. It’s smaller than the half sovereigns I have. It looks bigger in this video lol 😂 very shocked at the size in real life.

    Im stacking gold bars, 2.5 grams at a time. There are silly premiums with fractionals but when you cash them in 20-30 years down the road its not gonna matter. The assay cards they come in make them more liquid too. With silver I buy all the coins for fun depending on design. Silver is a hobby, gold is wealth accumulation

    I started out stacking 1/10 ounce gold back in 2010/11. I have many sizes these days, but it's a good way to start. At the end of the year, you'll have over an ounce.

      @@Ontariostacker Not to worry. I'm sure that I'm a bit older than you. I discovered what counterparty risk was when I lost half of my RRSPS in 2008. It took me a year of doing what I was doing before, to realize that I should actually expand my financial IQ. You wouldn't believe the amount of books, articles, podcasts, etc, that I absorbed. I now can build a large portfolio from a single share in a company and haven't got a single RRSP product. Gold and silver are my savings, not an investment.

    I did a tenth of an oz a month in 2021. Surprisingly, my bank usually offered the best price+shipping on 10th oz maples specifically (silver from them is laughable), which was helpful because I don't have a nearby lcs that offers gold.
    I hear ya on the car repairs! I've got two older cars to keep on the road. When you see the prices at the mechanics shop, keep in mind Henry Ford paid his employees the equivalent of 0.25 oz a day 😅

    Cool vid😎 Im currently waiting on my first gold 1/20 and 2g bar. I dont have a lot to spend and im bad at saving, thats why i started stacking, so I'll happily pay that fractional premium lol. Don't buy American anything it's over priced because it comes with a dash of pride a pose to craftsmanship😂 I love America but facts are facts. Maple🍁 is Queen👑, she's beautiful and comes with great security features also the price is hard to beat for maples at sd bullion. Britannia is also a great choice in my opinion👍. Gold🪙 2024! Subbed

      If you only need to seek 2/10 oz gold to make do. Then you don’t need to sell more than what you need.

    I was fortunate to pick up 25 2022 1/10 Britannia's for $230.00 ea. They sell at apmex for over $300.00. I don't know why. I don't really have a favorite but am partial to the 2016-w 1/10 oz gold mercury dime. A bit pricey but worth it to me more as a collectable. Love 1/10 oz gold videos, Thanks

    Perth Mint are my Favorite. I started with Eagles then Maple’s
    Then Perths. Oh….I almost forgot, The Spanish Mint! Check those out. I just subscribed to you this evening, so I’m going through your Videos.

      Love the Tiger as you can see.
      But the Kookaburra has really grew on me. And they seam to be the most popular. So I make sure to get all of those.
      The Perth Mint Dragon is very Cool. And seems to be super popular. I have one of those.
      And I purchased the 1oz Platinum Slabbed Dragon.
      I pretty much have all the different types in 1/10 gold.
      I seen yesterday the new kangaroo is out. I will soon order one of those as well.
      The Lynx is fantastic. My favorite is the Toro (Bull)
      There’s 5 in the series I have all 3 in 1oz and 1/10 oz
      4. And 5 will come out in the next 2 years.

      I picked up a poplar bear privy maple
      But I’ve slowed down on the gold
      I’ve been buying more silver again
      I’m still planning on finishing that tube though, just might take until the end of the year 👍🏻

    I'm going for twenty 2024 1/10 gold Britannias, I have a grand total of two.
    After that, I think I'll stack 20 of the 1/10 Libertads as they are a gross waste of money; what sane person is buying them?
    When I was a child, in the 90's, I had a regular 50 peso coin with the eagle holding the snake, and that is where my interest in this design started.

    My favorite are Kangaroos and Britannias. I also like Maples. 1/10 Kookaburras and Koalas have low mintage when they are released. I think Perth Mint makes the best looking gold coins. Britannias and Maples are probably more utilitarian for trade.

      The 2015 roos were limited to 300k. I got lucky and got a bunch of them on a random year roo sale at silvergoldbull 😁

    Adam ---brother I picked up a 1/10 Britannia and Wed. want to get some small gold again....like your old maple Leaf....what is your thought on 2.50 Gold Indian coin.....my Britannia has Queen ....I avoid anything with Charlie on it...well its 7:30 pm 12 deg with WC -5deg...how is it where you are?I like everything PM....hang tough stay safe God Bless

    No thanks. Terrible value for money. I cannot recommend anything smaller than 1/2 Oz. or 1/2 Sovereign.

      There only bad value if you don't know how to sell,, id never walk in a shop n sell, open market you can get premiums back, I can sometimes pick up 10x 1 tenth for price of full oz, same price,, finding a dealer with less overheads is also recommended,, id never pay more than 3% regardless of what I'm buying,, after 4years I've worked out that it really doesn't matter.. never sell to somebody wanting to make money out of you.

      If you buy them that way it’s $$$$$$ For the same price you pay for those 10 coins you could get a 1 oz of gold and 10 oz of silver
