"People grow up when they learn from their mistakes"
Yes, and when women are never called to account for taking naive (or ruthless) advantage of a system built to help real victims, and in doing so harm men incredibly deeply, those women never grow up. They move on having learned extremely harmful lessons, and cause even more trouble in the future.

Since I started using the internet I've been disturbed at what I've seen online for the promotion of abuse and hatred towards women. A lot of it seems to be from the USA.
I don't know if it's connected to them thinking they're the only country with free speech so should shoot their mouths off at each other for the sake of it, but men and women there seem to have more disturbing relationships than Europeans. In Europe the general culture is love and romance, and I think men and women in Europe have more healthy relationships.
There are various anti women USA groups. Such as men who make youtube videos saying they don't want women, but instead of doing what they say by going away and leaving women alone or to have hero gentlemen types, they spend a lot of time on the video comments trying to make women feel bad about themselves and promoting others abuse women.
Then there are those incels who are angry that women won't sleep with them. Not seeing the irony that women don't find a men a turn on who spend most of their time online swearing at women, and trying to make them feel bad.
Although it isn't all men against women. Lots of USA women say men are disgusting if they haven't been cir'cised. I sometimes wonder if doing that routinely on a national scale is why they have the most serial killers, as having a part of the body chopped off that's supposed to be covered until sx, so that it becomes hardened and less sensitive must affect some men psychologically.

@@SuzLa1 I don't have much use for anyone who doesn't make any distinction between women who behave well and women who behave badly.
I'd imagine there are some "incels" (as you call them) out there who lump all women into the Amber Heard "behaving badly" category. That's an error, of course.
However, you haven't done a whole lot here to show that you aren't making the opposite error. There are some women (Amber Heard is, again, a great example) who ARE behaving badly.
Failing to call that out, failing to hold women to account when they are behaving badly, always abstaining from anything that would "make women feel bad" (even the ones who deserve to) -- that will leave us in a situation where toxic femininity runs rampant, and destroys lives.
Speaking freely about this is part of the solution, not part of the problem.

    • @edwardst-pierre1020

@@SuzLa1 it seems that you have only seen some views that people have towards others. I sure that American society is very different from the rest of the world. American life is very different and to really understand how it works you have to have lived it. Most definitely people understand their own kind and everyone else is strange. Western culture is very fast paced. But to be honest I can say that there is a war on boys so that girls can get a upper hand. There was a time when boys saw girls as pretty but now it seems that girls now see themselves as pretty and everyone is a 10 and if boys don't measure up they're looked down apone. Some men have decided that they don't need life to be so complicated so are going their own way. If you watch a hundred videos from the same person who is against girls then it's true that you will think that everyone hates girls. In the truth of the matter it's 50/50 when it comes to many things. When you look at how many people get married that shows you how many people are interested in each other. Then you consider how many people are into their own sex . Then you need to look at how many females prefer to be a single parent with several kids from several different men. If you don't add the different groups you won't have a clear/true understanding of who's who. Some say it is okay to have as many partners before you get to old and some will say I'll wait until I get married. I'm sure that there are a lot of unhappy people out there and couldn't care less about anyone else.

Masculinity in itself is to be lauded. Decades ago, as a teenager, I began visiting America. One of my first impressions was that this was a matriarchal society. In marriages, the women were the boss. I saw the men losing confidence, being demasculated and I was appalled. The young men were pathetic in my eyes as they lacked the ability to woo a woman, showed no strength and No Masculinity. Masculine is what we want our men to be. Please do not deny them that. It is middle class, in thought and action, and totally ignores the working class who generally just get on with life.

I think feminism means something different in USA than Europe, as in Europe it only means fighting abuse and subjugation of women. Such as women didn't have as many rights and were less represented in their own country. It wasn't until recently women had the right to not be raped by her husband. In USA it seems to be an insult by men who hate women, who spend their time searching out examples of idiots who talk nonsense to say all women who fight against abuse are like that. Funny how they spend too much time online whinging against women, filling comment sections no matter what the subject as an excuse to whine on against feminists and saying what women should want, but no woman finds an abusive misogynist who feels threatened by women who have rights against them to be a turn on.
I also think men and women dislike each other more in the USA than Europe, as USA women tell men they're disgusting if not cir'cised and some men who had that done develop issues, such as less sensitivity, which they spend a lot of time online trying to take out on women. Like the USA man who was banned from entering Europe for making web pages promoting men rpe and abuse women when travelling.
Although I also acknowledge men from many places who have had injunctions taken out on them by women offline, then use the internet to carry on being abusive.

The irony of this anti male feeling married to ever greater assertiveness by women is that the gulf between the genders will widen. Scandinavian countries which have seen the most movement in favour of empowering women also see a trend toward traditional career choices on the part of boys and girls. Its as if there is a deep need to delineate male and female and this may also explain the appeal of masculinist extremists like Andrew Tate . UNconsciously we as men have a battle to resist absorption by the Feminine, and to separate from our mothers. Someone whose name I forget wrote a book called The Great Mother, which explains the need of men to mark out their own psychological space. If this is not achieved then infantilism reigns and macho posturing
takes the place of mature manhood.

  • @catherinehume9193

    1) Andrew Tate has spoken against rape. He said no woman should be abused, no woman should be raped, women need to take care to protect themselves but no woman should ever be abused in any way. Line that up against Helen Mirren who said that she was to blame for being raped and some raped should never go to court. Andrew Tate is joking the vast majority of the time, and if you watch him in long interviews, he is serious, he talks about religion, business and a hard work ethic. Yes, getting women to webcam is not what I do, but it is not illegal. Two of the women who are testifying against him have gone on the record to say the Romanian police are making them testify as victims but they are not victims and they wanted everything they did. But the laws in Romania are very different to our laws. Which could be why Andrew Tate was not arrested here in the UK when he had done his interview with Piers Morgan. He was arrested in Romania where they are continuing to hold him for another 30 days because their first 30 days of holding him didn’t give them enough evidence to bring a case. They don’t have the evidence to go to court but they are still holding him. No, I don’t agree with some of the things Tate says, particularly around fatherhood. But his ideas about fatherhood is how Black men are fathers around the world. That is his culture.
    2) we never blame women for pornography. Most pornography is women. Women are queuing up to sign contracts that involve them agreeing to all sorts of abnormal and painful acts. Being electrocuted being one. Women are queuing up to be in porn. But no one ever says women are to blame. It is always men. Despite the fact there are far more female porn actors than male. Straight women do horrendous things to straight women in “porn”. It’s not about eroticism. It’s about inflicting pain. And this is what children are accessing.
We need to stop children accessing what is made for adults. Peaky Blinders, Life on Mars, Little Britain we’re all made for adults, but kids were going around the playground quoting them and that created moral panics. Now it’s Andrew Tate and porn. Kids need to be stopped from accessing adult content. So it’s parents who need to control what their child has access to. No child should have a smart phone. We’d cut the demands for nudes and the sharing of vile images of kids had phones with their parents’ phone numbers typed in and no access to the internet. There is no reason whatsoever why children should have access to the content they are accessing. Their minds can’t cope with it. They can’t tell a joke - Life on Mars and Little Britain - from serious thought. They don’t know that women shoving brush handles into other women who are tied up is not normal. Children should not have access unsupervised to the internet.
What children should have access to is Scouts, Guides, Duke of Edinburgh awards etc. Stuff that gets children out, making real friends, taking part in real activities and they are cheap. There are better options.

I think this is a symptom of the natural progression in the West away from the necessary roles of men. All through history, women required men for security and physical labour. Women spent the majority of their adult life in a vulnerable state. From puberty until menopause, they were typically either pregnant or nursing - roles that only women could do. Society today is safe enough that women don't require men for protection; earning a living no longer requires dangerous and laborious exertion, so women can be financially independent; and the contraceptive pill means that women can delay and control their reproduction, so they're not spending the majority of their adulthood stationary and vulnerable. These are all wonderful advances. We should not make the world more dangerous just so that men are necessary, but the idea that masculinity is toxic, men are oppressors and being a man is problematic in general, is a convenient belief when society no longer requires men to mine, build, till, hunt, smelt, fight and defend.

I love men and their wonderful masculinity. My father died before I was born. But he was a hero in WWII. I loved him. I wanted brothers, so would attach myself to families with boys in them. Then I went to all girl schools. Learnt how cruel women can be from both the girls and, more indelibly, from the mainly female staff. I now could recognise a bad woman from a good one. But I did NOT learn how to cope with the occasional abnormal man as I had never met enough boys to see a bad one! So, I agree that we all need to know how to recognise the bad ones of the opposite sex.
But, to tell boys that their very wonderful masculinity filled with strength, good humour, kindness, sense of fun, uncomplicatedness, and, above all, protectiveness is wrong is a ridiculous and terrible thing to do. I really do think that the majority of women love men because they are wonderfully masculine. I, for one, did not want to marry a feminine man! Ugh! Who is telling boys this ? Men or women?

The fact that people sit around and chat about it like it's just an intriguing phenomenon is honestly bonkers.
Our world is becoming more and more feminized each day, and the culture of "safetyism" that was mentioned is just one aspect of this feminization (but a crucial one since men have historically been "safety providers," so naturally, we now need to distance that role from them by labeling masculinity as toxic).

The discussants miss the complete breakdown in intergenerational male socialization, wrought in no small part by feminist hystericizing about men as danger to children. Such structures of socialization are BASIC to the human condition, to males' moral development and skill transfer. Cultural renaissances -- from the Greeks, to 16th century Florence, or to the musical efflorescences of 15th-16th century Flanders or England -- were characterized by intensifications of intergenerational male pedagogy. (Or consider the British navy.) Today's bureaucratized pedagogical hatcheries may be necessary for girls, who find personal pedagogical relationships 'creepy' and 'dangerous' ... and who don't readily gang together. For boys, bureaucratized, gynocratized pedagogy has been a disaster, pedagogically and morally.

Women find 80-90% of men unattractive. Women look up- never down. Women are homing in on the top 20%. The old dynamic of finding your own level no longer happens so more men than ever before will not marry or even have relationships. Everyone happy with that?, well the women are while 20-30 years old, they get to shoot for the sky and have men running around them after all the time. Not so much fun later on though. I don't know. Is it really masculinity? Let's talk about the rise of hook up culture and hook up apps. Let's talk about a massive pandemic that just recently happened. Let's talk about broken families. I don't think it's men fault. I think it's technology, politician's, the school systems, and the family courts, and even corporate America. There a quotas for women in the STEM fields everywhere. Why don't we have those same quotas for men in Healthcare, education ( school teachers) etc.

As a firm believer in equal rights, I do still feel more needs to be done for women's rights. BUT it's not equal if the cost is destroying the self worth of all men.
For a number of years now I've been more concerned for young men. It's heartbreaking how they're being taught to view their own masculinity. I honestly can't imagine how any parent of a teenage boy can prepare their son to live in this modern world & ever interact with girls. It's crazy!
It's also been no surprise to see the rise of "queer" young guys who are straight but by taking on this behaviour, are seen as non threatening & can get close to girls/women. I don't mean anything negative against them, I'm simply saddened that this has become a coping tactic.
No group can achieve equality by knocking down another, yet this seems to be how our society currently works. It can only cause us all harm in the end.

Andrew Tate isn't in any way attractive or charismatic and that any boy would think that he is, is an absolute tragedy.
It's setting these boys up to be lonely and avoided by girls and women who have healthy self esteem.
The only girls that Andrew Tate would be attractive to are girls who have been brought up to see themselves as objects to be used and abused. And unfortunately there are many families, that perhaps look ok on paper, that, together with social media and on-line porn make girls think their only value is as an object.
The internet and peculiarly woke teaching is creating a messed up generation of kids

The thing is plenty of boys listen to Tate. I listen to him because a lot of what he says makes sense - especially with business. He is also very entertaining. He teaches that hard work is good. He teaches self discipline is good. He teaches that going out and doing something amazing because of all the hard work you’ve put in and succeeding is good. This is what boys like. I’m a masculine woman and I totally get why boys listen to Tate. He is saying a lot of things that appeal to masculinity. He is direct. He doesn’t beat around the bush. Boys like this. They are sick of everything being feminised. The reason why there is a lack of men in churches is because of the feminisation of Christianity. Tate chose Islam because of the demands of Islam such as fasting, five times per day prayer etc. A lot of men are drawn to Islam because of how it appeal to masculinity. If you don’t want boys listening to Tate, you have to give them masculine alternatives. The problem is that everything is feminised. And so Tate is incredibly successful. He gives people what no one else does. So we need to give a better option.

The paper, titled "Going in Through the Back Door: Challenging Straight Male Homohysteria, Transhysteria, and Transphobia Through Receptive Penetrative Sex Toy Use," essentially argued that men could become less transphobic by experiencing anal penetration using dildos.

@@sidcymraegmen have been held accountable for bad behaviour against their wives for a very long time. Think back through history, turn off your victim mentality and consider what life was like 80 years ago, 200 years ago, 500 years ago, 1000, years ago, 5000 years ago. Up until very recently men and women were a team that relied on each other to survive. Why would any sane normal functioning man hurt his wife? Husbands protected their families and died in the process because their was no police for 99.99999999999999999999999999% of human history. Just because there are and were bad men that did bad things doesn't mean it was and is the norm. Think about how absurd it would be if men all decided to remove children from their mothers because some warped individual women killed their children and that is nearly exclusively a female problem. Stop grouping bad people in with decent just because they share the same sex. Men and women were a team. Feminism makes everything women vs man its toxic. Everything that can be said about men, can also be said about women. When it comes to domestic violence women are more than likely able to get away with it than men, depending on how they decide to paint themselves as the victim instead of the perpetrator.
