Hey coach a question about using the dip to get into your shot. I noticed in your shot you almost always have no dip and you are consistently launching straight up into your shot. How to properly get into your shot is something that’s been really confusing me. Just wondering which way to get into your shot you would recommend.
1:38 you just displayed perfectly that you shoots with you middle, your index is pointing forward and took no part in the releasing of the shot. that is same for me, i have tried split finger, wouldn't work. and only if i release with my middle i can feel the power, and after release my hand looks the same, middle and fouth fingers are down, index pointing forward. and if you truely release with 2 fingers, those 2 fingers will be down, some nba players do it, kobe do that at times, but some times he shoots with index only.
I believe in that release too bc it provides balance within the shooting hand
Great advice
This helped me so much thank you
Very helpful video!
Great video. I shoot more consistently with my index finger. You just have to find what works for you.

If the dip helps your rhythm then do what works best for you! Here's a video in more detail on shooting form: ruclips.net/video/Rbpud3o7tSg/видео.html

What finger did klay thompson release?
Middle finger
But if he shots middle you shouldn’t find which is more comfortable
