- Switzerland’s Nemo has won Eurovision in a triumph that caps off one of the most fraught weeks in the feel-good competition’s long history.
Israel’s Eden Golan had a mixed reception from the audience: both cheers and boos. Meanwhile, thousands of pro-Palestinian protestors gathered outside the Malmo Arena - including climate activist Greta Thunberg, who was moved on by police.
There was also major controversy when the Netherlands’ entrant, Joost Klein, was disqualified from the final at the last minute, following an incident with a Eurovision crew member.

The judges weren't silenced. Israel's song was mid, and it got a medium amount of points from the jury. The public voted for political reasons.

I feel like a lot of "drama" could have been avoided if they just listened to people not wanting Israel in Eurovision.
Joost wouldnt have been disqualified as the journalist would probably not have been here. And all peace and love messages from all artists would have been shared with no problems.

There are too many people who are caught up protesting everything and really missing out on making the world a better place by failing to put the work in on working on themselves and providing for the needs of their families and loved ones.
