Hi I wanted to say that unfortunately using wooden sticks for reisn actually makes air bubbles but using a plastic stick or reusable makes less hope u found this tip helpful 😊😊😊
I just started using Craft Resin for my coasters, but ran into an issue where my cups were leaving an imprint on them. Anyone have a similar experience or know what the temperature tolerance of this resin is?
After pouring the last layer of clear resin I found that some little areas didn't cover. I was careful to cover it all but it seemed to pull away from a spot. What could cause this?
Resin does not like oil of any kind including oil based paints and varnishes. Heck...even oily finger prints can cause the resin to pull away from those areas.
You're coasters are beautiful. Do you ever respond to anyone's questions? I've noticed some visitors have asked you questions but I don't see any replies. If you do, I have a question. In your video you show you're making 8 coasters. How much resin do you mix the the project?
Thank you so much! I try to when I can, but with all of my videos sometimes there are too many comments to reply to. I typically use 200-250g of resin for a set of 4, so around 500 for a set of 8 so that they're filled to the top 😊
Can you help me figure out what I am doing wrong? My "water" keeps bleeding over my sand, even after putting clear down to keep it off. Any tips? Thanks!
thank you for the videos I will be going to a resin class and they are teaching how to make resin geo's but when I learn how to do resin I will be making these they are so cute
As a cheaper option you can use plain Elmer’s school glue to coat the back of your coasters. Still peels off and protects the backside.
Those are so beautiful. They really look like the beach

Doesn't make any difference for me
once the stick has been covered in resin you use again and obviously get no bubbles. also these get a heat source to removeany bubble

Why do you use liquid latex?
it protects the underneath if any resin drips to the backside. it can be peeled off.
WOW!! KIller colors, and you are really good at this. They are gorgeous!
Im confused why you're putting resin on the back of the coasters. Why does it need that?

Awesome how do you clean brushes and cups??

Beautiful. Many blessings
some coeasters i made is not straight and is wobbly i dont understand can u explain me why ?
Excessive heat from a UV lamp or pouring the resin to thin can cause it to warp when curing.
FYI: Google - resin coasters warp why
You make it look so easy: on my third attempt. Trying your method next . Wish me luck
