FedEx Boeing 777 Freighter Landing and Takeoff at Major Cargo Hub, Cologne Bonn Airport (CGN/EDDK)

Today's video is from my visit to Cologne Bonn Airport where I was lucky to film a FedEx Boeing 777F Arrival and Departure during daylight, certainly a rarity for a cargo aircraft!
Filmed during July 2016, this Boeing 777 arrived from Memphis, TN, before departing to Paris CDG, FedEx's primary hub in Europe. This 777 (N892FD) was initially delivered to FedEx in 2011 and was painted in the panda livery.
Cologne is a major cargo hub located in the North-West of Germany. It is a hub for UPS, FedEx and Star Air. During the day it is a fairly busy commercial airport with many flights from Ryanair and Germanwings. However, at night this airport comes alive with an influx of cargo aircraft from all round Europe and the World. It is not rare to see older classic cargo aircraft here such as the 767-200 and MD11.
