The First Prototype MD-11 Landing At Cologne Bonn Airport | FedEx MD-11 N601FE

Finally a new video again! I'm so sorry for the absense of content during the past couple of weeks. Anyway, I have not been sitting still! Last wednesday I drove to Cologne Airport for a very special aircraft which I have been chasing for years! It's N601FE, the very first McDonnell Douglas MD-11 made, the first prototype. Amazingly, she is still active today. The 32 year young girl is has been flying for FedEx all her life. You guys know how much I love the MD-11. It's the worlds most beautiful aircraft ever built. Cathing this particular frame has been on my bucketlist for so long. Finally I got her on tape! Yes okay she does seem to have a little scratch on her nose, but other than that she looks so good despite her age. It was totally worth it driving for three hours to Cologne to see her. I even made a picture of her with my 1:400 scale model of N601FE in front. A special moment in my life and I hope this won't become the only time I've seen her. Enjoy the video!

First time i have seen MD 11 Was in Tenerife airport. We weré in tarmac close to my Spanair MD87 and MD 11 wearing LTU Livery took off in front of me. September 1996😢😢
