If this is the last of the 3.8L naturally aspirated flat 6'er manuals before they go all auto 2.0L four cylinder turbo's then this car will be a collectors item and worth a pretty penny in a few years!
I very much enjoyed David McCowen's review of the 991 911 GTS - thank David. But, I'm interested in David's comment that the GTS's suspension setting (softest) is '...probably little more compliant than a normal 911" (at around 2:35) - can you expand on that? - do you mean that the range of suspension settings overall is greater in the GTS than in the Carrera S, or, do you mean that the softest suspension setting in the GTS seems softer than in the Carrera S? Also, any word or idea on when you can test the 991.2 GTS?
Good car for iSheep religious people. Converts to other types of car, or other brands are so wrong. God(s) know that no other car compares to this car. Literally. Noise, boot space, vibration, parking, mechanical reliability, etc. :-)
I like this car but i can't drive it. It's about the same size on the inside as a S2000 and i can sit in a S2000 but once i closed the door, my shoulder and arm were pressed against the door so i couldn't drive it. Last week i was at a Starbucks and there was a couple that had a Carrera S and the man let me look at his car up close and since it was a convertible with the top down once we came up close i saw that there was no way i could turn my left arm to drive the car...too bad...wait, i can't afford it anyways. Not now anyways...i can dream and watch RUclips videos i guess.
I do like the Porsche but I doubt I would buy one even if I had the means because I feel like they all look about the same for so many years and there is just to many of them they just aren't individual enough for the money paid.
+MaZEEZaM You may not be into Porsche enough to appreciate the subtle changes (appearance or otherwise) in the 911 range. Fact is that there are so many options, etc, that one cannot fail to come up with something individual.
I hear what you're getting at. However, look at the value of almost all previous 911s going back decades. Many of those cars are going for twice what original MSRP was. And I think with Porsche, it's all about the driving experience, and driver involvement. They are not the ugliest sports car, but they are not the prettiest either.

@@rsstnnr76 I am short, I just have been working out a long time.
