- I did a little thing on my Gladiator, it's a bumper and skid plate combo that will increase the rear departure angle.

Looks great. Nice to see innovation happening 👍
This should be on every gladiator
that's a sweet mod right there!
Man I’m very impressed should consider a kit for the more mechanically inclined individual if I wasn’t in Oregon I’d be at your front door
There are a lot of overlanding trails between Oregon and Texas. Make a vacation of it.
Perfect upgrade!
Very functional. I want one
I like what you've done with that!
I love it. I want it. But I live too far to drive to your shop for it.
But thank you for the inspiration. This gives me a solid reason to buy that tube bender I’ve always wanted!
Smart looking design, real clean and functional. Well done. 👍
MAN! I have to get back home. All my handy Jeep people are back in TX 😒 I absolutely love this. Looks great.
Looks great brother
That a cool bumper! I want one 😊
Very Kool!
Once again, a well done video with a great functional product.👍
You're pup seems totally unimpressed. Me, I'm impressed 😜
🤣
awesome work!
I saw this in person a few weeks back in Hidden Falls. I was behind you in my Granite Gladiator on Baby Back. That rear skid is badass
That's awesome. Now to make one for my RAM if ya don't mind.
Great concept. 👍👍
Looks cool. Not what I need but it's an ingenious design!
I like it a lot!!!!
NICE VERY
How about I fly you out to Hawaii so you can do the custom install here? I’d fly my Gladiator out to Texas but I think it’s cheaper if you come here. Then we’d go crawlin’ over lava fields.
I’ve watched quite a few of your vids and had no clue you were so close to Houston! Definitely need this bumper if you’re still doing them!
This is the only bumper that caught my attention for the jt. Good job there mate
NEED!!!
Awesome would like to purchase one someday
PERFECT!
Great look!
Cool as a rock crawl only, cant haul stuff anymore tho.
Jeep needs to change that back angle from the factory to look like yours. Its what stopped me from getting one and instead picked up a jlu.
I agree.
Damn you! Make something that awesome and be so far away to get one installed...You could build Bad Ass Jeeps in Utah. I hear it's a nice place :)
Man.. this makes it way more difficult for me not to trade my jku for a gladiator
That would look good on a jku 👍👍
Any word when this will be available??? Awesome vids!!!!!
I’m hoping we can start building them soon. Waiting for a larger facility which should be happening any day.
That looks awesome! Very disappointed I can't order one from Ohio!
Its a big air dam!
Why isn't anyone putting a tire carrier bumper on the gladiator to relocate the spare tire?
JCR makes one like that.
@@Exodus4x4 - I would like to see a Gladiator build that has the spare tire relocated to the bumper, the trailer hitch moved up for clearance and a winch where the spare tire use to be. I think that would be practical.
Also, Semper Fi!!
One issue might be the use of the tailgate in the down or halfway positions.
The Scrambler mounted the spare inside the bed, on one bedside. That doesn't work well for some people either.
A movable spare mount could be a possible solution.
Any word on this yet? I know last time you said yall were waiting to move to a different facility. Really want to get this done to my Gladiator! Thanks!!! :)
Still waiting on a larger facility
First great video, 2nd my jlu diesel would look great with that set up any plans?
Still working on pricing but it will be available here at the shop.
Excellent looking forward to prices
Needs a door with hitch receiver tucked away
Just add a bed lift that pulls up from the back
How much for the install of the bumper delete.... Im here in TX and have just purchased a 2020 Mojave..... I appreciate your time.
Won’t in be in production until later this year
@@Exodus4x4 thanks. I'll reach back out later in the year.
Hey!
How much would you charge for this bumper?
If we ever make it for production it’ll be in the new shop next year
Why did you do coil over in the front but springs and shocks in the back? Are coil over not okay for towing?
A rear coilover kit was not available in the rear. We will be rebuilding the rear very soon with something different.
Looks awesome. What is the new departure angle?
I don’t remember but it was an awesome improvement over what it was
What are ur plans for the spare tire that normally sits in that spot ? I like that set up but I only plan on going to 37s max and I like to care a spare but don’t want it floating around in the bed .
Spare will have to be in bed!
is this on your google site?
To order? Not yet. We have a few things to work out before we can sell them. Send us an email we can put your name in a folder that’ll notify you when they’re ready for order.
Got a question for you unrelated to this video. You seem like you might have the answer. I'm building a front jk Rubicon Dana 44 axle from scratch(bare housing) and I'm setting up my ring and pinion and I'm not sure where the oil baffle goes. I've seen some people online say they dont use it but that seems wrong. If you can help that would be awesome! I am building it with an ox locker, not sure if that matters. Thank you!
I’m not sure how much it really helps but it goes between the inner pinion race and housing.
@@Exodus4x4 so you could theoretically go without it?
You can, but it does help retain fluid on the outer pinion bearing. Helps keep the bearing lubed on fresh starts.
@@Exodus4x4 Thank you for your help! It is greatly appreciated
I appreciate the innovation, but not shipping it is a poor choice. 99% of Toyota Tacoma and 4Runner bumpers require body cutting. It isn’t rocket science
it’s way to long for off-road, i’ll just get the 2d truck
Where's the receiver hitch? A big reason to get a Gladiator vs a Wrangler is the towing capacity.
I hope a mfr comes out with a high-clearance hitch that's rated for the truck's capacity.
Did you watch the video?
It's in the video. 2:32 mark he addresses the hitch.
@Jordan Kepner you must have watched the video😂
@@Exodus4x4 Yes. If I want a serious offroad rig so bad that I'd remove the hitch from my Gladiator, maybe I'd be better served with a Wrangler/Unlimited. Then I'd get the better breakover and turning radius too.
Have you thought of building a rear receiver with better departure than the factory one? There's a bit of space to work with, as that OEM hitch hangs low and rearward further than it has to. Then you don't have to keep swapping back and forth. That gets old after a few times.
Great video. Looks killer Bubba.
