Blake, The Prop Trading (TPT) does something shady which you need to warn traders about.
They have a policy in place for failed challenges that they don't tell their traders about. Whenever you pay full price for a challenge and you fail it, they will send you a discount code of 20% to try again. What they don't tell you, is if you use that discount code to get a fresh account, that account wont be eligible for the 2 free retakes you're suppose to be eligible for, if in profit but short of the target after 30 days.
Basically say you pay $299 for a 50k challenge, you fail it, they send you a discount code for another 50k challenge now you only pay $239 but what you don't get with that fresh account is a chance at 2 free retakes. Being eligible for 2 free retakes is WAY more important than a 20% discount. This to me is shady af since there will be so many traders that will fall short of hitting the 8% target and have to pay full price again instead of getting the retakes that they should be eligible for.
The 20% discount is just a very sneaky way to entice traders to unknowingly give up their chance at free retries. If you gave traders a choice whether to take a 20% discount with no retakes or pay full price with a chance at 2 free retakes, 100% of traders would happily pay full price and keep their eligibility for free retakes. I only found out about this recently because that's exactly what happened to me. No where in their terms and conditions do they tell you this. Having 2 free retakes for a 50k challenge is worth $599! Where if you take the discounted amount you only save $60.
I've spoken to multiple people via their support email telling me different things, I've called there offices a bunch of times only to be sent to some call centre answering service. I've lost a ton of respect for these guys. I'm not surprised they are near the bottom.
Hey blake can you do a video on the top 5 best EAs to use?
@@Grey_fox12 Wow! sorry to hear about that! Thanks for sharing!
@@malvo1196 No, If I did many people would use it on prop accounts and everyone would fail for copy trading.
@@Grey_fox12 Thanks for sharing this -- I agree they should be up front about the difference. Even knowing, I would still choose the discount -- WHY? -- Because I'll be trading using my own EA's, which are designed to work within prop firm risk limits and profit targets. Currently stress testing and tweaking in order to be as robust as possible.
Great video Blake...I am searching for a prop firm and this video cleared up some doubts I had. I'll wait a little bit longer for the near future changes, as I am expecting even greater changes as mentioned. Thanks and keep up the good work.
Thank you so much for making this list and doing the homework for me! You narrowed it down to 2 for me. THANK YOU!
Great to update prop firms list, i didn't know many, thank you
Always await your videos to summarize about funding firms and brokers! I appreciate you
Appreciate you saying that!
Thank you for sharing this, very useful information. Highly appreciated.
Great video! I'd probably put the prop trading ahead of the 5% but that's just a personal opinion. Overall great and informative content as always!
Just wait until you see 5%ers new update. Video coming soon. Appreciate the comment and you’re always entitled to your own opinion.
We apreciate the work you do brother
Appreciate you saying that!
thank you blake for the consistent content and assuring for all independent traders that theres opportunities out there for us!!
Happy to help :)
Great video Blake 👍
Please, tell The Funded Trader to add EA’s)
We really need it.
Thank you, I appreciate your efforts
Hey Blake, thanks for another awesome video. Need to work on the funded trader allowing "trader created" EA's...
fair critic! This is being considered
FANTASTIC! JOB BRO! SERIOUSLY! SO THOROUGH!
Appreciate you
Great job Blake!
I really want to see something about who is going to be the first to let expert advisors in and who is the one that's going to allow copy traders like social Trader?
Because we really don't want to toggle between platforms and or second laptops trying to execute orders all at the same time for our personal accounts?
Your prop trading firm I believe is the best!
It's the one I tell everyone to go for!
But I'd really like to see little changes like EA's and trade copiers in order to use the funded trader exclusively!!
Thank You for the funded Trader already it's one of the best and for taking the time to listen we all appreciate you very much 👍
Great points, I wish TFT was able to have EAs and copy trading but for now it doesn't make sense, likely will be back in the future!
Thanks forball that work you did
Thanks for noticing and saying so!
Great work
Thank you!
nice content mate but i think in your upcoming video you will add fundednext in the list because they are doing a hell of a work out there for traders.
Truly helpful.
Appreciate you!
Great video Blake, I totally agree with the order of prop firms. can you do a funding video about Osprey-FX funded trader program...I keep hearing good things about their funded program & they are an established broker with a great reputation. I think its the only broker that offers funding to traders up to $100k. this industry is getting more interesting every day.
Thank you for mentioning about the issues of MFF. They initially approved my personal EA to use, then later when I requested payout, they said I am using signal services. If there are 1000s trying in a prop firm, how can they expect everyone to have unique trades.
Did u get payout from mff?
did they pay you ?
Oh man, this was a great and informative video, Thank you, came across it the first time, (YT suggested) Liked, subscribed, and pressed notify...I've heard so much about Forex for years, and recently watched some YT that was recommending an FX Brokerage out of an Island in the middle of nowhere, ...I want legitimate Brokerages/companies, that I can use in the USA...will be looking forward to your channel for more information. Thanks
Oanda and Forex.com are the best regulated US based brokers for US traders
Hey Blake. Please speak to your partners at TFT to come up with instant funded programs with only a maximum static drawdown and faster scaling. This would be very popular with swing traders and definitely take TFT back to the top. All in all, great video as always and looking forward to more.
I agree MFF needs static drawdown!!
And a affordable package
Being from the UK I find the base currency to be one of the main drawdowns in other prop firms. Having a USD dollar account means I then need to use a third party like Wise to save on conversion fees and it's just messy. I'd rather this happens in my trading account. Since you are on the board of 'The Funded Trader' perhaps this is something you can recommend. Thanks for the video, very informative!
I signed up with The Funded Trader a few days ago, 1.7k away from the 10k target. As an aggressive trader, the max drawdown is awesome. I would like to see MT5 in the future and the ability to increase the max daily drawdown (even at a fee) I keep a few floating hedged positions (currently 7k) to increase my DD. I think prop firms who don't allow overnight/weekend trades should allow it if a hedged position is in profit. Hopefully, TFT stays legit and continues to grow. Thanks, Blake
Happy to hear! MT5 may be coming soon!
Funded trader closed.. Right
@Adam, from your experience, how is the slippage on TFT? I am with My Forex Funds and the extreme slippage is eating away a lot of the profits. It's becoming unbearable and was hoping to find a prop firm that is reasonable.
@@pm5418 Not Adam here of course but saw your question by chance and can't just ignore it since I'm "well experienced", so to speak, with both (definitely understand you perfectly* about MFF...).
So here is the answer: honestly, no way to compare them in this regard (among others as well). TFTP (The Funded Trader Program) has no such extreme slippage at all, there's honestly no comparison in this regard and others as well. To be honest, notwithstanding a couple of rules on TFTP that I found really annoying (e.g. almost failing the rapid challenge before I'd even started it since it is almost like mandatory to have a VPN connected on all my devices considering where I live and even more so how often I travel... Out of lucky just seconds before first trade did I find out that not only NO scrips, NO EAs, obviously no VPS, but even VPN meant failed challenge), of course most of that is no longer a problem as it's been a few months already since they introduced the Royal Challenge, but even considering the rules for either Rapid or Standard Challenges, TFTP is simply FAR AHEAD than MFF all across the board in nearly every aspect - in my honest opinion, as per my experience with both¹...
DISCLAIMER: obviously all said above is ONLY MY PERSONAL OPINION, so if anyone else reads any of this, please disagree with me and reach your own conclusions according to your own convictions after thorough and extensive researching/due diligence done by yourself (most important thing, always...), and finally truly wish all the best for those successfully trading either with them or any other Prop Firm that I honestly have no interest in dealing with - what works for one might be the opposite of what works for the other and vice-versa, so lastly wish everyone all the best in whatever path you choose, and again, to all fellow traders please don't ever forget:
DYOR - DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH (don't take me or anyone else at their word, I actually prefer any who disagrees with me after he or she has fully done his/her own research/diligence, as opposed to far too many that clearly want everything "handed over on a plate", so to speak, and consequently fail in trading due to such mentality and unfortunately are easy prey to all sorts of fraudsters/"gurus" that lurk around everywhere nowadays and ever more so as Forex - and Prop Trading - becomes so incredibly popular...).
Hopefully this helps someone, and as always wish everyone serious and committed all the best and success in each one's goals and endeavors!
Superb. Review of top prop firms in 20min. Question. What is with affiliate links, looks like benefits and discount codes expired?
yeah some of them did. not sure why some companies did that, not cool of them
That's great news 😻
Hey Blake, love the vid. Just wanted to point out that TPT also has the DAILY equity DD rule and i had to find out the wrong way by being failed as they hide the rule but thanks for the vid as usual. Very informative 👊🏽
Wow! That’s the first I’ve heard of that. Thank you for the info! That’s terrible. Appreciate the info!
Thanks for pointing this out, read that rule several times but its not very clear that they are using a relative drawdown. was thinking of signing up. will now avoid like the plague.
@@RetailTraderDGM no worries man. Glad to be of some help and yes i agree it is not clear at all and i’m sure i am not the only one who had to find out the hard way. I would definitely recommend The Funded Trader, they are the best at the moment, in my opinion of course. 👊🏽
@@RetailTraderDGM Lol
@Farakh Zahid I like your opinion 😂
lets gooooo! we made the list!!! Thank you for the compliments as well as your thoughts on the current state of prop firms, including Ment Funding. Agreed in that there are elements that are different from the other models out there, but we continue to grow our funded members and assets under management for our funded members month after month as we see real traders gravitate towards our 1-step no time limit model and payouts of over $100k+. A great video and a cool breakdown of the entire space - great to see funds excel and setup models that benefit a number of different traders and personality types. Looking forward to see what the future of prop firms do and continue witnessing the growth in the space. Thanks Blake fire viddddddddd ayyyyyyyyyyy~!
Can't wait to see what's next for ment funding! Keep up the great work!
@@TradeConnectVVS please can the funded trader make smaller account sizes like 5k 10k and 25k account would love to use you guys
@@emmanuelgoodluck9013 Might do so in the near future
@@TradeConnectVVS if you had it I would have used your prop firm in my opinion your the best prop firm
@@TradeConnectVVS you said traders central fund is trash major any reason ?
Hi Blake i really appreciate your analysis on prop firms.
I highly suggest making a free retake on funded trader whenever the candidate is in profit and didnt violate any rule .
They don’t allow that 🤕
TFT has this already and has since the beginning.
@@TradeConnectVVS Okay NO! Copy trader allowed and NO! free repeat even when you on profit but Still better than MFF ?😩😧 Blake cummon 🤷🏾♂️ broh you still can’t see what I see here ? or it’s because you part of the problem 😅 lets keep it 💯 no capping 🧢 they don’t deserve the 2nd place 🥈
@@thulasizwefx3559 Why are you making things up?
"Can I get another attempt on the Rapid Challenge if I run out of time?
Yes, we offer unlimited free retries for all Rapid Challenges as long as there are no violations on the account (drawdown breaches or other violations) and the account balance is above the initial balance at the end of the trading period.
Your 35 (Phase 1) or 60 (Phase 2) day trading period begins the moment you place your first trade. Once the "Time Since Inception" counter at the bottom of your dashboard hits the maximum days, your account will be breached, and trading will be paused. Your account will then be briefly reviewed and if eligible, you will receive a retry account at no cost.
All free retries will begin at Phase 1 of the Rapid Challenge."
it's easy to find in the FAQ
-TFT
Thank you! After meeting you, i no more need to search best prop firms
Happy to hear that!
Good afternoon, very good your video, thank you. I would like to know if there is any prop firm that allows you to do copy trader?
My only gripe with Funded trader is they won’t allow me to use magic keys because it requires an EA. Seems pretty silly to not permit some exceptions like MFF.
I understand the frustration with the no-EA rule, basically it's an issue that every big prop firm faces but most allow it but then in turn aren't as good in other aspects as TFT. Allowing EAs allows a lot of cheaters in and creates more problems. I know of several people that used EAs with FTMO (just as an example, still think FTMO is great) but because other people used the same EAs with similar settings everyone got immediately failed. MFF (also a great prop firm) just went through a serious issue on the other side where they were backing traders that all took similar trades because of EAs or copy trading and then they lost what I think is millions $. TFT isn't willing to add the risk of this at this time and less people get failed it's a win-win for 90%+ of traders that don't use EAs. (everything above is unverified and specifics may be inaccurate)
Blake, can you do a review on the slippage of these different prop firms? Almost all the traders at MFF are complaining about super high slippage...I scalp the NAS100 and the slippage is just insane...at times 10x the spread (and No, I don't trade news events)....I'm sure a lot of people are wondering who would rank the best / worst when it comes to slippage. Trading size on MFF is pretty much suicide now. I tested trading a 0.01 lot and had slippage on that too lol!
For real do you have any idea from ur experience which firm have the least amount of sliparage?
@@jacksonb9069 I think ftmo is better than mff. But they all add slippage. MFF is the worst. I get slippage on a 0.1 lot on NAS100 during regular hours!
That is a good point. It's a shame that you have to try these prop firms out to learn all these hidden rules
Dear Sir,
In traders Prop Accounts is Hedging Allowed? Also For Hedged positions Is any margin required after hedging is completed? For open hedged positions carried overnight how is daily loss limit calculated next day of trading?.Thank you.
Hey blake, I'm surprised not see True Forex Funds in this top 7 list. I have tried hands on TFF and it's one of the best prop firm availalble currently. Spread and execution are almost competetive to FTMO. I'd be glad to see your review on TFF. Thankns.
Surprised E8 aren’t on the list! Great content as always bro 😎
E8 needs better spreads imo
@@LeahBbyCksPrice Very true, as with a few on this list…. They have a new liquidity provider coming in the next 2 weeks that will offer much lower spreads then they will be up there in my opinion 💯
@@charlieclark9757 I have them on my radar for sure and that would definitely solidify them if that's the case. I trade on the lower tf and need tight spreads .
main reasons for e8 not on the list is their spreads, how new and untested they are, terrible pricing ratio for the DD that you get and how bad the Elev8 program is. May make a video about price ratio and go into more detail on e8 in that video.
@@TradeConnectVVS That would be great Blake 💯
Can you do a review on Fund Trading Plus? Very similar to Ment but cheaper , same broker and no extra cost for holding trades over weekend , EAs allowed ....good reviews on trust pilot
May do a video soon
hi, nice to meet you, i love your videos !!
I would like to ask you for advice if possible ..
I'm going to try the 5% ers bootcamp and scale it, my only concern is not to get paid if I get great results or if my account is blocked "accidentally", do you know if I can trust it? thanks in advance indeed
5%ers are very trustworthy, not worried about them paying out at all
Hi blake for funded trader payout is paid weekly biweekly or monthly?
Hi Blake, have you ever looked into ultrafunding capital? they have a stake scaling programme and are cheap in comparison with others
Very nice presentation Blake. Appreciate the time you put into this. Please I'd like to know if there are any prop firms out there that don't request for a subscription fee before you can take on their challenge? I mean is there any prop firm that you don't have to pay any subscription fee before passing through their evaluation phases?
No good ones and for good reason. They don’t want people to punt accounts as that wouldn’t be a good measure of skill and it’s also not free for the tech and testing accounts and therefore can’t give away accounts for nothing
Hey Blake, thanks for the vid 🔥
I was wondering what broker you use/recommend here in the US for your personal trading account? I liked your video on the Smart Profit broker but we can't use that here in the US
The US brokers suck IMO, I have used coinexx but they aren't the best. I'd recommend just sticking with prop firms
@@TradeConnectVVS how about hankotrade is it not available for US
@@TradeConnectVVS can't hankotrade work for US client?
@@hutup9092 they do
Sir, Trading with supply & demand method on 4 H charts, is it better that the area have additional confirmation with MTF fractals. Even if S/D area gets respected OR rejected, market can still whip saw in the area & trader can still lose. Do you recommend sticking with 4H,/Daily chart S/D levels for trend direction OR is that not necessary. Market makers in forex also play their liquidity harvesting to pick pockets around these levels. We need your wisdom.Thanks.
I’m currently doing a 1 step challenge with Funded trading plus, they seem pretty good, what do you think?
I've taken a look here, good parameters, are you doing the experienced or advanced challenge?
I would like your opinion. What prop firm is best for a scalpers / intraday traders versus what firm is better for swing traders?
Did you choose any? I am looking for a prop firm for swing trading that allows me to have open trades for 2-3 days without high spreads or spikes when closing or opening the market
@@esnaiderrincon3709 the5ers aggressive model ( no mandatory SL )
Please this is very important which you should have talked about which of these firms allow copy trading and which don't especially for those who want to trade multiple at a time
I agree with you about TFT
Happy to hear we're on the same page!
I would love to your opinion on E8 funding and True forex fund. Thank you
They were close to making this list but have their own issues. I did consider them both for this list. The ones on this list are better overall, mainly for less well known reasons
@@TradeConnectVVS Thank you, appreciated.
Hi, thank you. I had a question about the video I am an Iranian trader and considering that our country's banks are under sanctions, is there a prop trading company that funds Iranian users?
Lux also only allows you to trade EITHER fx, commodities, indices, bonds, or stocks. I passed, but didn't know this. I had to go backwards and try again from a certain amount of time. (I had to pick which market I was going to stick with.) They DO NOT allow you to trade all of the markets. Pick one and go with it.
Good video and I see that TFT makes it to #2 but I don't See Top Tier Trader bro they are doing great better then 5,6,7 spot ..
yes TFT is great but Top step isn't, you're entitled to your opinion but I considered them but they weren't close to making the list, several others were closer to the top list. IMO they are currently Mid
SIR, When trading forex with daily support/resistance levels trades get executed infrequently--so next choice is S/R 4 H chart levels, as directional bias & 15M chart price action live execution. Anyone recommends putting standing orders at 15M,S/R levels in direction of 4H trend in 6-8 forex pairs every day & SIT. After all at S/R levels odds of TRADING EDGE are still better than even, Each order has stop loss but no TP--need your wisdom.Thank you.
Does any of these offer stock trading and options trading? I’m new to funded accounts
You have to do a video on fidelcrest
Which company is the best for scalping? Where is the smallest spread for currency pairs ? FTMO, MFF or other ?
To me the funded traders are number 1 I’m my opinion, MFF was on the top of the list but the DD is crazy insane and customer service sucks. Tue only thin that I don’t like is that you can’t use EAs
Are there any stock trading prop firm options? Mainly for small cap nasdaqs stocks. Thank you!
No. And low liquidity products are not very usefull for prop trading.
@@martinsl1979 hey, I'm not sure if you trade smaller caps, probably not just from your comments but I can tell you liquidity wise there's no issue there, unless you are trading 10s of millions then liquidity may be affected. But yea it seems these types of prop firms do not support that, I would need to go to a real prop firm where they have offices and trainers.
any good prop firms for stocks/shares only or options trading?
Can you do a review on prop firms that are centered around stocks and not forex ?
You can trade stocks on several of those on the list.
Glad you put Lux trading on the list. I think they are number one because you can trade with TradingView and they have the highest funding amount in the industry plus use KPMG account to record your success very professional. They also take you to their resort in Monte Negro when you hit expert level.
Would a position size calculator effect anything when dealing with Lux trading because it’s an EA but it’s for risk management purposes
Also what platform does TFT use? Thank you.
What do you think of Surge Trader and Kickstart? They look so much like Ment Funding
I wanna know this too!
They are similar but not as good
They lack features but may be a little cheaper. Kinda similar
which is the best for swing traders
Have you ever worked with or heard thoughts on reviews for both leeloo and Apex?
Pls do you have proof of payouts with mentfunding company ? R there clients who received their payouts with them ?
Funded trader is on my list but the problem is the trade manager I use is an EA.
Hi Blake, any reason why True forex funds did not make this list? Thank You
No reason at all. i think he is just threatened by them. this review is so biased .he just wanted to put his firm on the top even though we know they don't deserve the top 5 spot.
too bad The Funded Trader jumped on the Equity drawdown band-wagon, was going to go with them until I realized that. I was also the victim of that with MFF and that's why I'm shopping for a new firm. FTMO is the only one I've found that doesn't have equity drawdown, someone please chime in if I am missing something, thanks. And great video none-the-less.
If The Funded Trader adds MT5, I am all in. MT5 is just superior when trading on a mobile device. Once they add MT5, there is no looking back.
I agree mt5 is superior on mobile
This may be in the works right now 🙊
@@zyanukzphindise7028 it sucks 💯
They need to approve the use of EA'S to be able to compete

So LUX is still the only one using Tradingview ?
Does the funded trader allow ea’s?
Hey bro i didn't understand that why you gave rank 4th to ment funding because there is no payment proof available on internet and we also don't know that this prop firm really give withdrawal or not
That’s what I’m saying where is the payment proof?!?!!?!
He is involved with ment and tft. That’s why
Tons of payout proof with Ment Funding! They should make a discord to show it off but there’s plenty. They haven’t had any issues with withdrawals
@@alphaboi4048 I think I’ve done a really good job with my owner transparency with TFT and also not giving them the best of everything and still talking about the negatives
I haven't seen any prop firm thinking to grow a trader except 5ers some best points I like about them
1 no time limit, mostly people fail challange due to time limit pressure
2 bootcamp, indirectly you can get 100k account in 300$
3 UpTo 100% profit split
4 UpTo $4m account
The only thing I hate about it is leverage. This is the perfect firm out there I challange people can't find firm like 5ers
What prop firm has paid you for trading frfr...not for being an affiliate? Straight up
Nice br I still want to see ICT prop firm
is there a a props firm for me to trade synthetic indexes
Just signed up for The Funded Trader. Then I find out that I can't use my Trade Manager EA in MT4. Really? I've never seen this restriction before. Trying to get a refund. I don't see how they got rated so high.
Which do you recommend for swing trading?
lux.. the EA they need a stoploss placed at the same time so pendings.. which most EAs dont..
the 0.01 lot isnt correct either.. if you start with a small lot size then trade 20 plus days with a larger lot size for the rest of the challenge its a fail..
if you dont use the same trade size and stoploss for every trade its a fail, you can trade at max leverage with the same stoploss thats fine but if you trade at say.40 lots then have a stoploss at say 10 and other trades at 20 stoploss thats a fail..
so to pass you need to place every trade with same lot size and stoploss even if you never breach 4% risk at your stoploss.
you can trade any size with any stoploss in evaluation as long as its always the same..
but once you pass and go to live funds then its 5% of max risk per trade open so the live accounts need to be traded differently to the evualtion accounts
also their london address is a virtual office they're based overseas
and very rude when you question actually disgusting humans to deal with, might be lack of English skills but im happy to email you my 30 email conversation with them so you can do a proper review on them
Can we use a tradecopier for the the funded trader?
How about Funded Next, its a new prop firm, looks interesting will need more research and probably try them out
Nope they have a risk desk. Not close to making this top list
It’s awful
@@TradeConnectVVS what do you mean?

Yes. I made a video on it: ruclips.net/video/-gWy4HwTlWY/видео.html
Thanks Blake, I watched it. I was planning to sign up for 100k with them. Have mixed feeling as I also found positive reviews about them.

Guys what do you recommend for some cheap firms that offer instant scaling when you reach the targets (as in every 10%)? Funded Trader Plus is pretty good but wondering if there is something different with lower commissions and higher drawdown limits. They have $7 commissions per lot and 6% max drawdown.
I thought Finotive ended up looking good
Hello traders, do any of you have experience with "Ment funding" or "Lark Funding" or do you have any reference about them? If not, which funding company do you recommend for Swing trading?
