1:33 in the interview with eric andre, nardwuar said that the hat was given to him by his dead mom
Literally will never listen to Blur or Sonic Youth again.
Wait a minute that’s Blurs drummer. Ahhh fuck Blur.
This is the definition of getting bullied
the fact that Sonic Youth still act like total scumbags years after the first interview is sad and pitiful
I once read you can tell how cool an artist is by how they treat Nardwuar. Sonic Youth while not cool don’t come across as malicious. Blur guy on the other hand deserved any ass whipping which may have later came his way.
exactly. people in the comments hurling every insult under the sun at sonic youth when it wasn’t even malicious and lee ranaldo hugged him later in the video
Lee yelled at him, “get off” Sonic Youth and Blur seem like assholes. Blur seemed to have taken it next level.
@@marcoroberts9462 They were still major assholes
Its crazy how long Nard been grinding in the music scene. Mad respect...👍
Sonic youth more like aging old men
cringe
@@pablogates5355 u stay posting dumb ass comments

Imagine using the word “cringe” unironically in 2020, just show how undeveloped your brain is.
@@sammysaito529 wrong again
Never heard about them until this video. explains why they aren't around anymore. also nas would have been more successful if he was more kind to nard that one time
That actually made me sad, what assholes
blur looks like a group of dudes that one angry drunk father could knock out in about 30 seconds top
My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined
Wow that was terrible. I love you Nardwuar
I'd fight for nardwaur, celebirity or not. bullying is not f**kin acceptable.
Thought it was against the rules to invade the space of an interviewer
Bro they don’t even apologize to him
The sonic youth one was mid, just young and dumb. But that Blur one was outta pocket and 100% unnecessary.
This actually made me cry
WOW 🥺. never thought this guy could get under the skin or actually witness people reacting like that to nardwuar .
Bunch of nobody’s bullying a somebody, hmmm I wonder why every single one of them failed?
Blur’s music is incredible, but there’s no excuse for this bullying
I mean atleast blur grew up and tried to make amends
Who tf is Sonic Youth?
Best thing is a character helped some people to realize they were all way wrong and had let their ego made them poor human beings. The fact Nardwuar stayed in character even in these moments, at least while recorded, surely helped this. If he had reacted to these provocations it would have probably just escalated, but his pacifist behavior made bullies feel like - - - - years later, at least some of them.
On the other side, no one could ignore how annoying he could be if you're not in the appropriate mindset, as his character pushes a lot, like invading space as someone said. Or making people feel uncomfortable with some informations and all...
While at the same time knowing a lot and being able to ask really interesting questions and care about how he treats people in front of camera, offering great presents, often collectors items related to the artists.
Wait what happened in the first clip
He broke some rare record nardwuar got pressed.
