+Meecrob462 I agree. Claypool needs to be the center of attention when he's on stage, just because that's his style, but there is no outperforming a guitarist like buckethead. He's dead and center both on stage and in the song

+Corey Hudson I agree. Buckethead, just like the other geniuses, especially musicians- is in his own category- wildly great, very heartfelt and longing at times, retro metal vibed- well he and Les Claypool are perfect together. They have to be friends. You can feel it.

Noooo shit eh? I saw Guns n Roses it was 2011 so of course its gotta be a bit disappointing cuz no way were there going to be really even close to the original 342 members of GnRs instrument section yano? Butttt... the guitarist to fill in for Izzy or Dizzy fizzy or lezzy...wait no...scuzzy? (kiddn)
Stand in was Buckethead! And I was surprised and happy and also surprised and happy that I was happy about any replacement member...it's always a bit of or a lot of a bit of a let down to not see who you've been listening to for so long. Buckethead played with a genuine (looked greazzzy af) KFC bucket on his noodle and tossed out many Star Wars figurines to the front of the audience...Hope Axl recognized the metaphoric chill pill
favour this was thanks to B-Head. Since Axl was more than 2 hours late and didn't even acknowledge it had happened, let alone apologize or thanks for waiting or thanks for not rioting and severely injuring many patrons like what happened last night in Vancouver when I failed to take the stage at all!

Is it just me or does buckethead have amazing chemistry with the other guys. Outstanding! I grew up with Jimmy Page and Van Halen, it's great to see the younger generation has such talent, continuing the torch of all that is bad ass. Hail Mr. Buckethead. I gotta go eat some kfc now.

This is a moment of glory, a merging of two monsters.
I love what Ler has done with Primus it is an incredible style to work into Claypool's bass and they are my favorite music ever. But this pairing, when it clicks, is transcendent, neither has to be the lead they usually are and can still play as such.

Two of the best players in the world? Fucking please!
There are hundreds of unknown guitarist on you tube better than bucket head. I'll give less props, but bucket head is just another flashy player, real guitarist like Blackmore, Schenker, Page, Iommi, Marino, etc. Have more heart, and skill. The guy has talent, but is far from one of the best in the world. His music has no passion to it, and I have been playing 38 years, and have heard them come and go, but the masters created everything he plays already. There is nothing new. Just rehashed licks from all the greats that created them. You can always tell the younger crowd that aren't musicians. Easily impressed by a little flash. These are the kids of parents who thought poison, and Motley Crew had talent. Lol.
