THE BEST description of a guitar's features I have heard yet on youtube and I've listened to hundreds. Thanks! Subscribed. Not meaning to start a war.. I definitely believe the materials a guitar is made of affects the vibration (sound) of the strings. Particularly mahogany. In a live environment tho the diff is not much. After player's skill, pickups do make the most diff, then neck materials and length. 22 fret is a little lower sound due mainly to the neck pickup position vs a 24 fret. I lean towards a darker sound myself. Cheers! !
Thanks a lot Artie, George is the man! Agreed, there are tons of factors, in some situations and setups, tones through woods will be more perceptible, but if you're in front of row of huge stacks, maybe not so much :)
Yep agree with all of this. People who can’t hear the wood influence tend to be metalheads, where it’s true the wood type doesn’t cut through the mix to be perceptible at all.
It's such a nice looking Guitar I would be afraid to cause any dings or damage to the finish. Like a serious sports car behind a dump truck slinging rocks analogy Still want one :)
I really don't mean this in a nasty way, but what do you mean by 'genuine' mahogany? I'm pretty sure there aren't any companies advertising mahogany specifications and lying.
Crazy . Love suhr guitars. They sound real.
That's a beautiful guitar. I just wished there were more HH in the Modern Pro, instead of HSH.

These guitars are too beautiful if you get my drift. They are utterly stunning and you wouldn't want to take them on the road..

아..진짜 이쁘네요
What neck profile?
What amp are you playing through to demo the guitar?
Actually we're going through a Line6 HD500X with clean then slightly dirty amp models, straight into an audio recorder.
GUITARGUITAR what!? That sounds great!

You would be suhrprised! The thing with wood species is that it can be in the same mahogany family, but not being THE mahogany you are expecting.
So locking tuners help you stay in tune when using your tremolo arm? Hmmm
Hope SUHR price dropping very much since GG left their camp.. Very much wanting to get one but price been much exaggerated
Suhr never charged a dime more for the name. The charge for the specs and the build/work.
Uh oh tone wood debate?
Basically its a ibanez guitar made in USA
Just like Tom Anderson !
Nothing like it!
Way too much $$! Kiesel has more options, customization, and the quality has to be comparable.
