16:20 Shield generators are more powerful than barrier shields but barrier shields are further down on the tech tree. They both have the same mass and manufacturing cost but shield generators give more shield strength. For tiny ships: mass 3, manufacturing cost 12, strength of shield generators 10; strength of barrier fields 8. I would have researched Energy Shields.
Really? That's a bummer. Stardock should fix that to say "+1 minerals" and change the icon to the gear on an orange field. Cause manufacturing outputs and mineral inputs are not the same thing.
@@redoover I am not certain that is my guess. I don't even own GalCiv4 and have never played it. But I started playing GalCiv2 during the beta and have an active GalCiv3 game going. GalCiv4 is looking really good. 🙂
Could you please limit the use of your camera to the beginning and end of the video? During gameplay please switched to audio only as this window covers important parts of the game's screen.

3:29 I think the +1 to manufacturing is to the inputs not the output.

Yeah. I'll give it a shot next weekend.
@@redoover Thank you. 🙂
